Toshiro awoke to find himself staring at the celling of his hospital room, it took him a bit to remember what happened. The young mayor sighed and placed his hand on his face, what a mess that turned out to be... He just wanted to get out for a bit but ended up getting into a fight.. His first ever one to be precise, It may not have been a great fight but at least he helped that girl get away... What was her name again? Ah yes Cassandra. There was another woman as well but he never got her name. Toshiro then lowered his hand and sat up, he then looked at his arms that where now shaved and bandaged. "Play with fire and be burned.." Toshiro muttered in spite of himself. " I need to get stronger... It turned out fine today but next time I may not be so lucky.." Toshiro said as he stared down at his hands. If only he could have finished his magic training with his Mother. He needed to look into finding a teacher that could teach him magic. But who? Who would be willing to teach him? A sudden knock at the door startled him snapping out of his thoughts. " Who's there?"Toshiro asked and then waited for a answer.

Cassandra nearly sputtered out a mouthful of tea. "That was the mayor?!"She could only gaze at her TV screen in shock. The girl was always afraid of venturing outside and encountering new people. She was making an honest effort to overcome that, but events of today forced her back to square one: contently cooped up in her room, entertaining herself with whatever sort of games or movies she found comfort in. She intended to resume her isolated life for the next week or so, and it would be fine. It would be safe. And that's just what she needed; the people outside were far too scary, after all! Especially those three weirdos... There was no way she could go back out and risk the danger of facing them again! ...No. That wasn't right. She didn't face them at all. Toshiro did. "Ugwahh..." Cassandra shook off her brief daze, finally prying her eyes away from the news broadcast. She glanced downward in thought, guiltily scratching at her head. "It was bad enough I ran off without thanking him..." She frowned, then quickly screwed her eyes shut in realization. "And it's worse that he got hurt!" The girl threw her head back to stare at the ceiling. "And to top that all off, he's the mayor?!" She internally grimaced. All she wanted to do was sink into her sofa and disappear for a little bit. Surely he was too busy with other things, right? Maybe he forgot she existed, Cassandra thought hopefully to herself. But something about that thought made her sad. As scared as she was... she still wanted to thank him. She had to! For all the strangers and weirdos she was afraid of, Toshiro proved to her that not everyone was scary. "...Okay." Cassandra affirmed to herself. "I'm.... I-I'm gonna do it!" She rocked herself onto her feet, clenching her fists. "I'm... gonna go visit him!" She paused. "...But first..."============================== "...Is this it?" "Yes!" Cassandra nodded, her reply almost a bit too eager. She looked down to the homemade gift basket she clasped in both hands, then back upwards to the hospital building before them. "...Thank you for coming with me, Omega." The girl looked to her older brother with a sheepish smile. "I know you're always busy with, um... that "Tribe of Demon Fire" thing... but...""Think nothing of it," he replied. Omega was usually a rather... intense individual, but today he maintained a low energy level of outward stoicism, even opting to dress more modestly for the occasion. When his sister told him she wanted to visit the mayor - whoever that was - even he knew his normal shtick wouldn't fly, especially since the mayor had been hospitalized. He was even more surprised at Cassandra's account of what happened; an incident like that would've set her back by a few months. The fact that she was willing to go outside again so soon was a testament to her progress. Omega's only regret was that someone else was hurt, but... perhaps it was the blessing in disguise that his sister needed to overcome her fears. "...Truth be told," His face suddenly darkened into a scowl. "The Harbinger of Doom cares not about any small trifles, but the state of the Dark Oracle.""Oh! I'm fine. Don't worry!" Cassandra understood and reassured him, unfazed by the expression on his face, which probably would've seemed odd to an observing stranger. "Everything's okay since you're with me." She chuckled as they made their way into the hospital. "No weirdos or creeps when you're around!""...Heh." He smirked. As they approached the front desk, he stood aside in silence as Cassandra quickly conversed with the receptionist. His sister had placed a gift basket on the counter - probably to double check if it was okay to bring in. Omega eyed the arrangement; Cassandra had clearly put together in haste. The basket was childishly pastel colored - probably an old Easter basket, he thought - and he was sure the fruits she selected were taken from their kitchen. Granted, they were by no means low quality, but the amateur presentation would have many thinking otherwise. Hopefully this mayor would know that it was the thought that mattered. If not, well... "Okay!" Cassandra turned back to her brother. "This is the room," she held up a scrap of paper, pointing to the number scribbled down by the receptionist. "Which means we just need to follow the signs..." The girl glanced around. "...There!" She pointed, practically prancing off in that direction. Omega looked back to the counter. She forgot the gift basket. He exchanged a brief glance with the receptionist before letting out an amused snerk. He unfolded his arms, taking the basket in one hand. Shoving the other hand into his pocket, he turned to follow his sister. "Excuse me, sir," the receptionist called out. "But... What's with the mop on your back?" "That... is none of your concern."============================== Cassandra stood before the door, her hand balled up into a fist. Her hand hovered before the door, but it refused to knock. "Hrhh...""...Why do you hesitate?" Omega asked, his phrasing surprisingly normal and straight forward. "Wh... What if he's mad at me for running away?" Cassandra winced, anxiously looking to her brother. "H-he got hurt protecting me from those goons!"Omega's brow furrowed. "Then it would prove him to be a rotten ruler with a foul heart.""Eh?!" Cassandra's eyes widened in surprise. "N-No way! He's not like that!" "Is that not the prophecy you foretold?" Omega frowned. "Why the sudden realignment of the stars?" "Um..." Cassandra looked back down to the floor. "B-Because..." She bit her lip. "He was... nice when we talked, and um... said my monologuing sounded good...""Then the Dark Oracle has her answer," Omega nodded, handing the basket back to her. "There will be no problem. The End declares it so," he continued, leaning back against the wall. "Yet, should any assistance be needed, summon the Harbinger from the outer realm and he shall lend his aid.""...Huh?" She blinked. "W-Wait... You're staying out here?!"Omega closed his eyes, crossing his arms. "That is what I said.""B-But...!"He opened an eye. "...I will be right here." Cassandra's tension softened. She smiled. "...Thanks."She looked back to the door, paused one more time, then knocked. "Who's there?"Cassandra hesitated. "Uh... It's..." She started, her voice small and quiet. He wouldn't hear that, she thought. She looked back to her brother, reassured by his presence, then cleared her throat again. "...It's, um..." She started once more, turning the knob and cracking the door open ever so slightly. "...Cassandra?"

"C-cassandra?" Toshiro said in shock as she walked into the room. This was very unexpected but still a pleasant surprise. She must have been watching the news, he must be all they are talking about right now. Toshiro offered a smile to the woman, he was glad she was ok and that it only had been him that had been hurt. At least he did something right for once, Toshiro then took notice of the gift she had brought. She did not have to do that but it did warm his heart. Though he suddenly remembered he had not welcomed Cassandra in due to his shock. " W-welcome! This is a pleasant surprise, I did not expect to see you again. How are you?" " Toshiro asked hoping she was ok from the events earlier today.

Mean while in Kaleo's office the necromancer was flipping through the channels trying to find something to watch, today had been slow no one was coming in so she had some free time. She then switched to the news channel to hear " The Mayor was attacked" That caused Kaleo to stop and paid attention. " Witnesses say some thugs started to harass a woman he was speaking to and went to attack him. The Mayor however fought back bravely protecting the woman. There as also another woman who was fighting the thugs as well. Mayor Toshiro however started to have some trouble and a masked hero jumped in to help. The thugs then left and now Mayor Toshiro is in the hospital recovering from burns." Kaleo sighed and shook her head. "That poor boy. First the Templars attacking his school, then his parents getting killed by a semi truck and having the leader ship of the city being thrusted onto him.. Now this... Well as the saying goes.. Once you hit rock bottom the place you can go is up. I do hope things get better for him soon..." Kaleo mused to herself as the door opened to her office, Kaleo smiled, " Hello Dear how was your outing?" Kaleo asked the news still playing on the TV.

As the bus came to a stop, Kaede got off the bus and was now in front of kaleo's office "(Geez! I had to arrive here late all because of those idiots back at the park. Just hope my face didn't show up on the media.)", Kaede thought as she opened the front door to the office. As soon as she enters , she is greeted by Kaleo in the main office with the following," Hello Dear how was your outing?". "Uhh... It was fine! Nothin' to worry about! Just a little late from missing a bus." Kaede said trying not to get Kaleo worried about what happened at the park. Kaede had enough of the trouble her mom would give her every time she got into a fight back home and sure enough she didn't know how Kaleo would react if she did get into a fight. When Kaede entered the main office what she was about to see would not prepare her as she saw what happened on the news.

Cassandra blinked, momentarily stunned by Toshiro's visible injuries, but quickly attempted to keep the tone light. "F-fine!" She squeaked, clearly nervous. The girl coughed, clearing her throat. "Just fine," she repeated, her pitch much more normal now. "I... came here. With my brother." She paused. "He's... not here." Er, wait, why did she say that? He could very clearly see that for himself. "I, uh... er..." She started to stammer again, but took a deep breath and sighed, shuffling over to one of the chairs near his bedside.
"I just wanted to, uh... thank you." Cassandra placed the gift basket down in the seat of the other chair. She stared down at the floor. "I'm... not sure what would've happened with those guys." She fidgeted. "Er, if you weren't there, I mean." She quickly added, looking back up to him. She forced a smile, but she couldn't bear to look at his bandaged wounds without feeling a tinge of guilt. Cassandra frowned. "A-Are you okay? You hungry?" She looked to the basket. "Do you, uh, want one of these?" She started to reach for one of the fruits, but quickly recoiled her hand. "Or wait, can you not eat them? Since you're... uh... a kitsune and stuff... so I don't know if you can even eat-... oh." Cassandra winced in realization. "Er, sorry! Was that insensitive? I didn't mean to be!" She fidgeted again, looking to the floor. "I, uh... I don't know much about kitsune biology..." She admitted sheepishly.

Toshiro gave a small smile when Cassandra entered with a gift basket of fruit, she seemed nervous however as if she was worried about something. Toshiro nodded when Cassandra she had come with her brother he nodded, he must be just outside the door then. Oh boy he was not mad about what happened was he? Well if he had been he most likely would have come inside to hive him a peace of his mind. Toshiro then blinked when Cassandra said she had come to thank him, that caused Toshiro to blush, he was so happy his fur covered it up. "I.. I'm just glad you where not hurt. Honestly I would not have been able to forgive my self if that happened. I am glad it was me who got the brunt of it. " Toshiro said in all honesty. He still had not gotten over what happened in the school, but this time he had been able to make a difference even if it meant he had gotten burned. When Cassandra started to offer him some fruits Toshiro was gladly going to accept only for her to suddenly panic about not knowing what kitsune's eat and worried if she had offended him. Toshiro just smiled, " Yes I can have fruit, the only thing I can't have is chocolate." Toshiro said as he reached down grabbing a apple and took a bite out of it.
-------
"As a further report the police are looking for others that where also involved." The reporter said as photo's that where taken by the by standers of Cassandra,Kaede and the masked hero showed up on the screen. "They are wanted for questioning. Also here are some photos of the thugs as well if you see the thugs however do not approach just call 911." Kaleo blinked as she looked at the TV and smiled as she looked back at Kaede, "Nothing happened? " Kaleo said with a small chuckle. "If you stopped to help someone you don't have to try and hide it dear."
----
Mean while at his house, Zander had been watching the news to see what they would say about today's events. So so it seemed they did not know much besides what was on video's and photo's. But most in importantly they did not know who he was. It would be bad if his face was on TV... His Dad would be able to find him. " Nope sorry.. Not coming forward.. Oi... I think I will just go and play some games.." Zander said as he then left starting to make way to his favorite place in the city, The game corner.
( Side note don't know if I will use him further in this. Lemme know if you want me to though. :3 )

After what Kaede saw on the news, she let out a deep sigh and said "Ok!... I got involved in a fight during my lunch break, but I wasn't the one who started it. The punks decided to mess with me, another girl, and a Half-Kitsune. Heck! one of them grab me by the wrist and left me no choice!" This was the exact opposite of what Kaede wanted to happen, First off having her face shown on the news for the entire city to see, and now the police wanted to question her. The police station was usually the last place she would want to go since she usually got into fights half of the time, and in aster city she didn't know how this would go over, especially the fact that she was from a different country. She think for a quick minute and says, "But, do we really have to go to the police station? I mean, I've already have had enough trouble to deal with today already!" The memories of her past with issues like this started to come back making her feel the sweat dripping from her forehead.

Omega frowned as he scrolled through his phone. Not that he had seen anything in particular prompted it; it was simply the expression he usually wore. He had intended to keep his arms folded and eyes closed as he leaned against the wall, waiting for his sister to be done, but even he felt he could be doing something more productive. So, he had clicked on the small device and began flicking through a local news site. After all, Aster City was never dull - there were always some sort of shenanigans at work, super powered or not, and they were always interesting to read through. It had briefly crossed his mind to try looking a bit into the mayor, but he had no interest in destroying the image placed in his head by his sister's judgement. Besides, he was never really one for politics - not any real world ones, at least. So long as this mayor brought no harm to his sister, he had no reason to worry - at least, not just yet.
That was when he saw it.
A short video and a small article detailing the events of what had happened earlier. The video was mostly amateur phone footage recorded near the end of the conflict, right before the odd gang had turned tail and took off. Omega's frown remained, but his brow visibly furrowed as he continued to read.
"...I see..."
------------------------------
When Toshiro told her of relief for her safety, Cassandra could only reply with a thoughtful "Ah..." She still felt a bit guilty, but again, he was proof to her that not all people had malicious intent. The girl was also relieved that the fruit was, in fact edible. "Phew!" She leaned back in her chair, wiping the back of her hand across his forehead. "That's a relief," she sighed to the ceiling, looking much more relaxed now. "Would've been pretty bad if I, uh... showed up with chocolate then, huh? Eheheh..." She laughed quietly.
At least everything was going well. Toshiro wasn't mad at her like she was afraid he would be, and she got to thank him. Which means... She did it! She did the thing! Yay!
...But now what?
Cassandra sat in awkward silence, unsure of how to continue the conversation. Granted, it was just her anxiety again - it had only been a moment since she last spoke, after all, so the "long silence" was mostly in her head. Plus, Toshiro was munching away on an apple, so he'd need an extra second or two to respond, too. She wasn't much for small talk, but maybe she'd at least try to think of something else to chat about while she was here. Um... His mayor duties? No, that sounded dry and boring, and all of that work was probably the last thing he wanted to think about. What about food? No, no, she had just brought him some, and Cassandra wasn't interested in trying to find out how long she could talk about apples. Oh! What about family? She did mention her brother, after all; it'd only be fair for Toshiro to talk about his own family. Yeah! That sounded like a nice, easy topic-
Suddenly a handle clicked, and the door opened.
"Dark Oracl-" Omega began, but quickly stopped. "...Excuse me," he cleared his throat. "Cassandra," he corrected himself. He glanced briefly to Toshiro before looking back to his sister. He honestly would've been rather surprised at the mayor's appearance if he hadn't just seen him in the article he read moments ago.
Cassandra herself wore a look of concern. "What is it?" She frowned. Omega rarely addressed her by name.
"...Sorry if I was interrupting anything." He carefully closed the door, then leaned against it. He then decided against that, opting to stand on his two feet instead. It was obvious he was having difficulty deciding how to compose himself; specifically, he was trying to make himself less threatening. Omega had spent much of his life training himself to look and act as intimidating as possible (even if it could be a bit campy at times), but seeing both the footage and Toshiro's bandages, well... he knew that wasn't quite the best course of action here.
"O-Oh! Right," Cassandra looked back to the mayor. "This is my brother, Omega." She raised a hand to motion to him. Omega nodded in affirmation. "But, um... What's up? Is... Is something wrong?" It was strange for her to hear him speak so... plainly, though Toshiro didn't know that.
"Nothing too serious," he replied. "...I just thought I would let you both know that the police are interested in questioning you."
"P-Police?!"
"Its fine," he reassured her, though his tone didn't change. "...They'd just need details from you to help find those three fools," He looked aside, a small facet of his persona slipping out, though he quickly contained himself. "...That's all."

Toshiro happily munched on the apple, it was sweet and juicie. When Cassandra joked it would have been bad to bring chocolate the half kitsine chuckled, yeah that most likely would have been a little awkward to say the least. Toshiro finshed his apple and he then reached down and grabbed some more fruit and happily munched on it. Though now it seemed like a awkward silence developed between them. However he did not know what to really say, why where his words failing him? " Soo Uh- " Toshiro started to say only to get cut off when man walked into the room, something about him made Toshiro's fur stand up on end. Though the young half kitsune did not know why.. Soon Cassandra said this was her Brother Omega who had come with her.
When he apologized for interrupting Toshiro just simply nodded and waited to see what he wanted. When he spoke of the police wanting to question them about the events from before Toshiro sighed as he then started to rub his nose a bit. It seemed Cassandra was not to trilled about this and he could not blame her. " I see... Look you don't have to if you don't want to.. I can speak to poilce myself." Toshiro said as he then threw off the blanket that had been placed on him. He then swung his legs over the side of the bed slowly standing up, he was a bit wobbly but he was able to stand. Oof he was still feeling a bit weak.. He really needed to train more.
--------- Kaleo listened as Kaede spoke about the fight she had gotten into, she simply nodded in understanding, Kaleo knew the trouble of getting to fights she did not want to be in. So she understood, Kaleo smiled and nodded, " Its ok dear I'm sure no one is blaming you. They just want information on the thugs that attacked you. If you like I can go with you. It should not take very long dear." Kaleo replied. She then got up and grabbed her purse and took out her keys. " Come I promise everything will be alright." Kaleo said as she headed out the door.

"what? wait-uh, but I... ughh, ok fine!" Kaede stammered as she face palmed. She was hoping to avoid going but at this point she realized she probably had no choice but to get it over with. Technically, she didn't really have a problem with the police themselves, but what would really annoy her would be if the police here would be the same back at home. Back home she had been able to stay out of trouble for a good while and out of the authorities site but back a year or two she got more heck than she bargained for. The only thing she could do is hope that things might be different in Aster city and that maybe the police aren't as hard on people who usually fight street punks.

"W-wait, don't!"
"What do you think you're doing?"
The moment Toshiro's feet touched the floor, both siblings had spoken out at the same time; sure, their inflections and word choices were quite different (Omega's definitely harsher than Cassandra's) but their concern for the kitsune was all the same.
"Y-You'll hurt yourself more!" Cassandra protested. She had nearly sprung to her feet, hastily lifting her arms near Toshiro, fearing he would fall. Omega had also taken a step forward out of reflex, but quickly recomposed himself.
"...Kh." He cleared his throat again. "...You should remain in bed." Omega suggested, his tone once again properly subdued. "Should you push yourself before your body deems itself ready, your condition will only worsen." He then paused, almost as if he had something else to add, but he simply frowned and looked aside. He didn't want it to seem as if he was lecturing Toshiro. It's just that... well, being part of a fight club of sorts made him all too familiar with physical health. He then realized that maybe it wasn't the best time to bring up the fact that he was in a gang; in fact, when would there ever be a good time to bring that up?!
"Can... Can you even leave the hospital like this?" Cassandra pouted as she looked over the kitsune. "I-I mean... like, is that allowed?"
"...Unlikely." Omega answered. "However, even if it were, I... would advise against it." He sighed. "I... suppose I should have been clearer that they were specifically interested in questioning you, Cassandra."
"Wha? M-Me?"
"However," he continued, looking back to Toshiro. "I have no doubt that authorities would be interested in speaking to you as well. But in your current state...?" His brows furrowed. "It only seems more logical that they would simply pay you a visit here."
"O-oh... yeah." Cassandra blinked, but remained close to Toshiro, her arms still raised in protective support. "But, um... so... y-yeah. S-Sorry," She said unsteadily. She was still afraid he'd fall over. "I mean, like my brother said, it's, um... probably not a good idea to leave... but..."
"...But?" Omega sounded more than skeptical.
"N-no, listen!" She insisted defensively. "If... If he really wants to go, then... th-then we could go with him!"
Omega remained silent for a moment before he let out a stifled groan mixed with an odd sigh. "I... am impressed with your initiative today, but..." He frowned deeply. "In a city like this... I feel as if that's a disaster simply waiting to happen."
"N-not if we're with him! Besides," Cassandra looked back to Toshiro. "It's not like anyone would be after you..." She smiled nervously. "Um... R-right?"

Toshiro was a bit stunned at the reaction of the when he got up he almost sat back down, though despite how weak he felt he remind standing. The half kitsune gave a weak smile he appreciated their concern but he was not going to change his mind on this. Though as the siblings spoke to each other it did not give him any room to say anything so he waited for the two to finish, Though his eyes widened a little when Cassandra suggested they go with him to the police station, " Y-you don't have to." Toshiro quickly said in reply though he had a feeling that was going to be ignored. The next question Cassandra asked caught Toshiro off guard a bit, anyone after him? Not that he was aware of... This was the first time had had been in danger for a while really.. The last time was when the Templar's took over the school but they where looking for a half dragon at the time not him. The thought of them hunting him down caused a chill to run down his spine.
Toshiro shook his head when he realized he spaced out a bit, " No, no one after me as far as I know." said as he looked at Cassandra, he then eyed the room and saw his stuff in a box, he then started to make his way over to it trying to walk as normal as he could so not to alarm Cassandra and her brother. He then grabbed his clothes and paused a bit when he saw they where not the same ones he had been wearing earlier. Toshiro smiled, It must have been Mrs. Harris that brought the new set of clothes. He then walked back over to his bed and closed the privacy curtains so he could change. It hurt to move but he was just going to have to deal with it. Once he was dressed he then used a illusion spell to make him look human, this was the normal illusion he used when having to meet with leaders of other cites. For now it was just to cover how rugged he looked from the fight and to better hide his wounds. Toshiro then opened the curtain and started to head to the door.
" As for it being allowed or not that I can leave.. I don't care I'm going. Though I think I will grab something to eat in the hospital cafeteria. " Toshiro said knowing food would help him feel better, he then came to a stop in front of door. As much he as he did not want to trouble Cassandra and her brother as much as he has already, she had been willing to come and visit him even though she did not need to and was now even willing to go with him to the police station. So honor called for him to accept her offer, "After I eat we can go to the police station." Toshiro said with a smile as he went to open the door.
----------
Kaleo unlocked her car getting into the driver's seat and turned it on, she waited for Kaede to get into the car. Once she was in and buckled Kaleo started to drive down the street, she side glanced at Kaede. " Everything will be ok Kaede, I am good friends with the police. So they will treat you with respect. Though if any of them try to rude I will have a few words with them."Kaleo said trying to put the young girl at ease.

After Kaede got into the car with Kaleo, she was pretty silent for most of the trip and as they were on the road, Kaede then remembered that he never introduced herself to Toshiro the Half-Kitsune. She wondered if he was going to be questioned by the police as well but then again she walked into the office and the news was midway through the story so she didn't know, but then there was one other person who joined in that fight to help and they wore a black ski mask. It was a good thing he joined in to help the Half-Kitsune, if he didn't she didn't know what would happen if the two punks she was fighting would keep coming back at her, or even worse. One thing was for sure, there were some people out there like her who don't let conflicts like that slide, and this was one of the sole reasons why Kaede decided to walk the path of a delinquent, even though most delinquents would just try to fight for turf and whatnot. By the time they were getting near the police station, kaede had dosed off and forgot they were going there.

"No, no one after me as far as I know."
Cassandra couldn't help but frown slightly when he hesitated. It was only after his answer that she realized that her question was... kind of insensitive. He was already physically hurt, why did she have to go and plant ideas of paranoia in his head like that? Sure, it was better to play it safe than sorry, but... He probably already had a lot weighing on his mind. Maybe so long as they laid low...?
Once Toshiro put up the curtain, however, the girl barely caught on to what was happening before quickly shuffling across the room to her brother's side. Despite the visual barrier, she found herself facing away from Toshiro's direction anyway, half out of courtesy and half out of awkward embarrassment. Omega himself remained cool and unwavering, though he also seemed to glance aside out of similar courtesy.
"Oh..." Cassandra was briefly surprised at his illusionary appearance once he was finished. "Right... you can, uh... do things like that, huh...?" She sort of made the comment to herself with a nervous, but slightly awed smile.
" As for it being allowed or not that I can leave.. I don't care I'm going. Though I think I will grab something to eat in the hospital cafeteria. " He paused. "After I eat we can go to the police station."
"O-Oh! Neat!" was probably not the correct choice of words that reflected Cassandra's actual feelings about going to the police station, but she was happy to help regardless. Omega couldn't help smile himself as well, though it came off more as a smirk. "I'll, um... go with you. If that's okay," Cassandra offered as she stepped forward to follow, though she remained a bit hesitant. "I mean, y'know... Just in case you need, uh, support or something?" She shrugged, uncertain. "I mean, you, uh, seem fine now, but... just in case you fall... or something."
"...Hm." Omega nodded to himself. "Very well. I will go on ahead," he looked to Cassandra with reassurance before focusing back on Toshiro. "I will... notify staff, so as to avoid any panic of your sudden disappearance," he explained. "Both of you... meet up with me in the lobby once you are ready to leave."
"O-okay!"

(Later...)
--------------- Aster City Police Department - ## Precinct ---------------
"OKAY, LISTEN UP, BOZOS!" The police chief abruptly stood up, open palm slamming both hands onto his desk. "We know ya did it!" He accused, his voice and appearance distinctly reminiscent of Danny DeVito, but with a thick, bushy mustache.
Before him sat three men in leather jackets - suspects of the fight that broke out earlier. Yet, they weren't restrained, nor did they make any effort to fight back or escape, which was... odd. More than anything, the situation felt more like they were a trio of students sent into the principal's office, rather than a group of thugs detained by the police.
"Wh..." The man in the center began. He was slumped in his chair, arms folded. "Just... what are ya talkin' about?" He raised a brow, the southern accent barely audible in his voice. He was rather uncomfortable with the whole thing, but did his best to remain visibly aloof. It helped that his hair obscured one of his eyes.
"Uh... Yeah. What?" A second guy tilted his head. He seemed to be the most energetic of the three.
"With all due respect, Chief Reynolds," The third one added with a diplomatic chuckle. "You dragged the Boss here without any explanation..." He smiled awkwardly, looking to the man seated in the center of them - no doubt this "Boss" of his.
"No! No, no, no, see?!" The chief objected, frantically reaching for a clipboard. "You! Mister..." He paused, squinting at his paper for a moment. "CASEY CALHOUN!" He howled enthusiastically to the man in the center. Calhoun couldn't help but cringe - he didn't like being called his first name. The chief didn't notice this, however. "Yeah, yeah! You check off all of the boxes here!" He continued, tapping a pen to his sheet of paper for emphasis. "Leather vest, teeny bit of facial hair, bad haircut, fear of commitment-"
"Wh-...?! Hey!" Calhoun sat up in his chair objectively. His two friends couldn't help but snicker. Calhoun shot glares to both of them. "Both of y'all... Shut it." He grumbled.
"But most importantly-" The chief stopped, pausing for drama. "FAIYA POWUHS!"
"...Urk." Calhoun grunted. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat.
"Eh? Ehhh?" Chief Reynolds grinned as if he'd tripped up the man with a good joke. "So, not denying it, ehhhh? Ehhh?"
"Uh... denying... what, exactly?" The diplomatic one blinked, hoping to low key steer the conversation away from the fire power accusation.
"Don't play dumb, coverin' for ya boy like that!" The chief threw his hands up in the air rather comically. "You sayin' this guy doesn't attack cute little mayors?!" He jabbed a thumb to his chest. "Cuz he does, and we got it on tape!"
"What?!" The energetic one - Ricky O'Hara - stood up in his seat. He imitated the chief, also slammed his hands onto the officer's desk in objection. "Lies and slander! The Boss would never do something like-"
"....Wait." The calmer one - Riki OHara - interrupted. He had placed a hand on his chin in contemplation. "I'm sorry, Chief, but did you say... cute?"
"...Oh. Hey, yeah, that's a good point," Ricky withdrew his hands, letting himself fall back into his seat. "How cute we talkin'?" He asked, putting his hands behind his head in a more relaxed position.
"Gh...! Guys!" Calhoun growled in annoyance. The OHaras were his best friends, and they came along to defend him, but he'd be damned if they didn't cause as much trouble as they tried to prevent.
"Uh." The chief paused, his determined front suddenly dropping. "Gee, I dunno. Pretty cute, I guess?"
"Like... cute-cute or pretty cute?" Ricky tilted his head again. "Also do you have her number-"
"Uuhhhh, ACTUALLY," Chief Reynolds began to clarify. "The mayor's a-"
"Boss!" Riki elbowed Calhoun playfully. "Whaddya doin', attacking cute little mayors?"
"I DIDN'T!"
Before the conversation could devolve any further, the chief noticed movement on one of his security cameras. It looked like a couple of people had entered his station... and one of them looked like the mayor.
"Oooooh crap," He said in an odd sing song tone, shuffling out from behind his desk. "Okay, you three! Just stay here!" He ordered them, bumping into a couple of shelves and a coffee table as scuttled towards the exit of his office. "I got some stuff to take care of reaaaal quick, all right?" He said just as he made it out of the door. The three heard the door lock with an audible click.
Calhoun sighed. "...I hate y'all."
"We love you too, Boss."
------------------------------
"Um... is this it?" Cassandra stepped into the police station first as Omega held the door open for her and Toshiro. She looked around, a bit unnerved, then looked back to her brother for support.
"It should be," he reassured, looking out the door and frowning as usual.
"Ah... okay..." She glanced about again, taking notice of a waiting room couch and a few chairs. She quickly approached the nearest spot and sat down with the gift basket on her lap. She didn't want to just leave it behind at the hospital, figuring maybe whatever was leftover would make for a decent snack later. "Uh... what now?" she asked awkwardly before the door from another room began to unlock.

Toshiro just nodded not really in the mood to object to anything right now, he allowed Cassandra to go with him to the cafeteria. Once he had his food he paid though the staff tried to give it to him for free Toshiro would hear none of it, he may be the Mayor but that did not mean he would not pay for his meals. Once he was finished they then went to meet up with Omega, got into his car and left. On the drive there Toshiro was silent as his thoughts raced through his mind. He dazed out a bit so the next thing he knew they had arrived at the police station. When they entered the young Mayor looked around, he saw a young teen who had green eyes and long black hair in a janitor uniform cleaning up a coffee spill and a young police officer apologizing for the mess. The janitor looked up and nodded in greeting when she saw Toshiro, Cassandra and Omega before going back to work.
Toshiro nodded back and looked around a bit, the place was well maintained many of the officers where working at their decks or standing around chatting. He was very grateful for the work they did. Soon two doors opened, the front door and a office door. Two ladies walked in the front door and Toshiro knew both. One was the girl who was also involved in the fight in the park and the other was Kaleo Kasser the city's famous psychic private detective. Kaleo blinked when she saw Toshiro, it was surprising to see him here and he was not alone ether. "Oh Hello Mayor." Kaleo said with a cheerful smile. Toshiro nodded in greeting, " Hello Ms Kasser" He replied before looking at Kaede. " I would like thank you for your help Ma'am. " Toshiro said giving a respectful bow to Kaede.
