When Kaede waited in the room she did not expect to see Toshiro to enter along with Cassandra and Omega. When Toshiro thanked Kaede she replied, "Hey, it was no pr-..." ,suddenly she had stopped in mid sentence in shock to only realized that Kaleo had addressed him as the mayor and when she looked at Toshiro she was at a loss for words. She couldn't believe she had hung out in the park with the mayor of Aster city, and he didn't even look old enough to be the mayor. Suddenly realizing this she replied, "Whoa, whoa, whoa, wait a minute!!! You mean to tell me the half-kitsune's the freaking mayor!?!", she then immediately turns to Kaleo and says, "Geez Kaleo! Why didn't you tell me!?". The more Kaede thought about it, the more she couldn't wrap her head around it, just how he was the mayor of Aster city didn't make any sense to her.

Cassandra continued to sit, smiling awkwardly at Kaede’s outburst. Of course she’d be here - if the authorities were looking to question herself and Toshiro, it’d only make sense they’d be looking to ask her, too.
Omega’s expression remained the same, though he averted his eyes from the delinquent. Though it was clear this Kaleo woman knew of Toshiro’s status, he hoped to avoid drawing further attention to it. That was when he spotted the janitor. An odd, dark look crossed Omega’s face as he cast his gaze downwards at the coffee spill. Almost in a trance-like state, he began to reach for the mop on his back as if he were readying to draw a weapon, but quickly stopped himself. "Hmph..." He grunted, relaxing his stance. Be aware of your surroundings, he thought. This isn’t your turf. And again, he turned his attention elsewhere.
Shortly after the others had all gathered, the short, portly police chief entered the room. "Ooh! Oooh!" He rasped excitedly as he waddled over to the group. "Mayor, uh, Tushie-Row, yeah?" Chief Reynolds half saluted the kitsune. He looked to the others. "And the rest of you folks... must be... the suspects!" He concluded.
Cassandra jumped slightly. "Wh-what?!"
"...You... mean.... the witnesses?" Omega cautiously corrected.
"Oh. ...Yeah!" The chief nodded. "Yeah, yeah!" He clenched his fists, then paused. "What did I say?"
"...Suspects."
"Oh." Chief Reynolds paused again. "...Pshaw, same difference!" He laughed, throwing a hand forward as if emphasizing a funny joke, though it was hard to tell if he was actually joking or just covering for simple incompetence. Maybe he was playing mind games? Or maybe he was simply complacent with the advent of all the heroes out and about? Honestly, it was difficult to get a read on him. He seemed more suited to be that one weird, fun uncle than a police chief.
"So!" The chief yanked out a pen and a small notepad stained with little specks of grease - no doubt the evidence of past lunches at his desk. "You guys ready to spill the beeeans?!" He said, almost in a whisper. "Yanno, 'bout them thugs?" He hunched over, leaning forward in anticipation. "Or should we take this to somewhere more... private?" His eyes shifted around at the crowded room before wiggling his eyebrows rather comically.

Kaleo laughed a little at Kaede's reaction when she learned who Toshiro was. Yes it was a bit odd for such a young man to be mayor of a city but that is what fate decided for the young man. " Sorry I thought you knew." Kaleo replied, Though she was then a bit startled when Chief Reynolds called the two ladies suspects. She then formed a stern expression "Chief Reynolds, please watch what you say." Kaleo said not very amused as the Chief laughed at his little mistake. As this went on Kaleo's eyes would look over at Toshiro but she was not looking at him but next to him as if she was seeing something though she would just smile and look back at the Chief.
When the Chief came out and tried to say his name Toshiro just gave a weak smile and nodded, "Y-yes its nice to meet you." The young kitsune said giving a bow in greeting only to be alarmed when he called Cassandra and Kaede suspects. If his tails could be seen everyone would see them fluff up, though his eyes hardened into a glare as they would pierce into Chief Reynolds. "Chief Reynolds! You will treat these ladies with respect." He said in a stern tone, even though the Chief tried to laugh it off Toshiro wanted to make it clear such behavior would not be tolerated.

After her realization that Toshiro was the mayor was over with, she regained her composure once the chief entered the room. When she heard him call her a suspect she immediately said in a annoyed tone, "...I'm pretty sure, "suspects" and ,"witnesses" and not the same thing...Sir." Once she was asked who the suspects were she took a moment to think about the events of the fight and said "let's see...the leader had a mo hawk of some sort named Maruun, he had two other guys with him, one had red hair, the other had purple hair. I think Maruun decided to instigate a fight with the mayor while he left his cronies with me. So they left me no choice but to kick their sorry hides and of course they were no problem to deal with. I tried to deal with them quickly to help the mayor but they took longer than expected. After they retreated I was going to help the mayor but fortunately someone had come to his aid, however I don't know who that was. After that I heard sirens in the distance and, well...kinda left the park... the rest is history." After she explained her side of the story she waited to hear what the others would say.

When Kaleo reprimanded him, the chief simply glanced up from his notepad and gave her a jovial laugh. But when Toshiro responded a bit more harshly, well, he was a little more startled. The man couldn't help but jerk slightly, jostling the then pen and paper from his grasp. "Wuuoh!" He croaked, quickly clenching and fumbling at the air for his things in a race against gravity. Each attempt at catching his items bounced away from his hands. One, two... three times, he stumbled after them, extending his arms and stepping forward almost clumsily before finally managing to catch and hug them against his chest.
"...Hehehe!" He laughed, readjusting his pen and paper. "I still got it, baybeeeee!"
He then quickly straightened himself up, leaning forward with vested interest as Kaede began to retell her account. He furiously scribbled down notes as she spoke, and continued to do so for several seconds after she finished. "Ohhooh, mm-hmm, yup..." He mused to himself, hunching over his notepad. The chief then suddenly finished off his notes with an over dramatic flourish. “Hmm! Yeah, I get it, I get it!” He nodded, holding the pad away from himself and admiring it as if it were a piece of artwork (which, to the chief, it probably was.)
Omega's expression altered ever so slightly - not that most people could really tell, since his default expression was a frown and a furrowed brow to begin with - but he had been intently eying the chief. It was difficult to tell what he was thinking ("he" being Omega, though this applied to Reynolds as well) but it was clear that something about the situation was weighing on his mind.
"And whadda 'bout you, missy?” The Chief suddenly looked to Cassandra, who remained planted on the couch. “What happen?”
"Oh, um...!" She responded, immediately getting to her feet. "Uhh... R-right..." The girl stepped forward, looking to the floor. "So, uh... I was at the park... rehearsing some..." She hesitated. "...lines." Cassandra continued to retell what she had told her brother, explaining how her (attempt at) conversation with Toshiro was interrupted by Maruun. Admittedly, she hadn't really processed what was going with Kaede at the time; she was only focused on Toshiro's fight, even then she was too frightened to properly remember what she had seen. Even just recalling the event spooked her a bit, but a quick glance to her brother every now and then helped her calm her nerves and refocus.
She was a little bit ashamed to admit that she had run away later on in the fight, even if it was at Toshiro's urging. "I felt bad..." Cassandra sighed, hanging her head. "Some of it because all I could do was run away, but..." She lifted her head, looking to the kitsune in earnest. "Mostly because I thought I wouldn't see you again to thank you. And I know I did already, but um..." The girl scratched the back of her head awkwardly. "Thanks again."
Chief Reynolds nodded vigorously the entire time as he continued to scribble notes, eager to hear what would be said next.

Kaleo rolled her eyes at Chief Reynolds's reaction at being scolded as she stood next to Kaede as she told her side of the story. It angered her how nasty those thugs where.. Kaleo started to think about finding them too, her sister would enjoy messing with. When it was Cassandra turn, Kaleo could noy help but frown at how she was treated what she went through.. Kaleo then took out her own note book and started to write down what Kaede had said and what Cassandra was now saying. Kaleo had made up her mind she was going to take on this case too, these thugs needed to be taken off the streets.
Toshiro had folded his arms over his chest just giving the Chief a hard look when he started to fumble a little, part of him wondering how he became a chief police officer in the first place... But there was more important things to be worrying about. Toshiro's annoyed look softened as Cassandra started to speak. He felt so bad for her she did not deserve to go through something like that.. None of them did. Toshiro blinked in surprise however when Cassandra said she felt bad for running away and thanked him for his help. " I-its ok I told you to run, I did not want to see you get hurt." The young Mayor replied. Well he guessed it was now his turn to tell his side of the events. He then looked at Chief Reynolds. "This is my side of the story." he said as he went on to talk about how he needed some fresh air got something to eat and ended up in the park. Spoke how he met Cassandra and Kaede. It was when Kaede was about to leave was when the thugs came up.
Toshiro spoke how they wanted to take the girls with them and when Cassandra refused, how that angered Maruun and he grabbed him by the collar of his shirt and threatened to harm him. Toshiro then told him how the fight went and how a masked person jumped in near the end of the fight injuring one of Maruun's legs. Then a idea came to Toshiro, he then held out his hand and used his illusion magic and formed a full bodied illusion of Maruun to the best of his memory of the thug. " This is what he looks like.. Sadly did not get good look at his friends." Toshiro said as he held the illusion there so notes could be taken.
When Toshiro did that Kaleo flipped to another page in her note book and started to draw what Maruun looked like so she could help make wanted posters and give a copy to her sister. When finished she put her note book away and took out her business card and walked over to Cassandra holding the card to her. "Cassandra dear, I would like you to take this, My name is Kaleo Kasser, I am a private detective and I have decided to take on this case to. Feel free to call me if you want to. " Kaleo said with a warm smile. She then moved over to Toshiro also handing him one of her cards. " The same goes to you Toshiro dear, feel free to call me." She said with a smile. Toshiro blinked surprise but nodded and took the card placing it in his coat pocket. " Thank you Ms. Kasser" was his short reply.

Kaede had remained quiet after she was done telling the chief what had happened and now that she had heard everything from Toshiro and Cassandra, she knew what to expect next time if she ran into Maruun. She would've said something about finding Maruun herself, but instead decided to be quiet about it for now since this was probably not a good time to talk about it. She would be taking a risk trying to hunt him down, but after everything that happened so far there was no way she was going to let him and his cronies off the hook that easy. When she heard Kaleo talk about taking the the case to find Maruun, she kind of wish that she didn't since she considered the incident with Maruun personal. when she thought about it she realized that if she did go up against him and and his cronies single handed things might go south for her. Maruun boys may have been no different from other delinquents she dealt with, but fighting Maruun would be a completely different story. He had the ability to use fire which was a big problem and her not having her powers back yet made it even bigger, so trying to go into this fight alone would have her either killed or in a hospital bed with 3rd degree burns. In the end she decided she would get in contact with Toshiro again, and then go from there while trying to think of a way to take Maruun down.

"Wuoooh..." The chief murmured in awe at Toshiro's small illusion. He was like a small child captivated by the blinking lights on his first toy, forgetting his notes all together. After a few moments of staring, he snapped back to reality. "...Ooh! Right!" He jerked his head back downwards, resuming his hasty scribbling. Although Toshiro admitted he didn't get as good of a look at the other two culprits, Chief Reynolds kept that mental note of red and purple hair. That sure sounded like two people he knew...! When all was said and done, Cassandra couldn't help but internally flinch when she noticed Kaleo approaching her. The panic quickly died down however when the woman offered her card and explained her intentions of taking the case. "O-oh..." Cassandra cupped the card between her fingers, giving it a quick glance over. She looked back up to the detective with a small smile. "...Th-thanks."Omega spoke up. "...Forgive me, but I feel to have observed... something questionable here." He looked aside to nothing in particular, arms folded as usual. "Hunh?" The chief squinted, peering over his notebook. “Whuzzat?” "The process of these interviews..." The man clasped his chin, closing his eyes in thought. "...Are you not supposed to ask the witnesses separately?" “...Eh?” Reynolds blinked. "...Not that I doubt anyone's account here," Omega clarified, opening his eyes. "But I was under the impression that such a method would be in place so as to... spot inconsistencies." “...Oh.” The chief shrugged. “Eh, it's fine. Besides,” the portly man jabbed a finger over his shoulder. “My office is being used at the moment.” "Huh?" Cassandra tilted her head. "...By who?"The chief grinned. “The suspects!” He slipped a hand to the side of his face, lowering his voice to a raspy whisper. “The actual ones, hehe. All three of 'em!” "What?" Cassandra jerked back in shock. "Th-they're here?! Right now?" "Relax!" He waved a hand in reassurance. "They're locked inside, so it's fiiiine." He wiggled his brows. "Wanna see 'em?"Omega gritted his teeth, barely restraining a growl. "They're... what?" The tone was sharp and edged with anger. Though his hands remained at his sides, his knuckles were white from how tightly he had balled his fists up. It was clear he had gone from calm to visibly struggling to restrain himself from putting his hands on the chief - if not just clocking him in the face then and there. How could he leave out such an important detail?! How could he have those thugs here, in the same building, in such close proximity to Cassandra?! Omega's blood boiled at the thought of them harassing his sister again, and it boiled even more at the thought being able to paying them back tenfold! ...Granted, he was only assuming that it was the same three thugs in custody, but he was too furious to consider the fact that it could have been anyone else.

As Omega called out The chief on the fact about the procedure of asking questions of witness's, Kaleo blinked and rubbed the back of her head. Haha she had forgotten about that too oh well mistakes are always made. Though what The chief said next stunned her. The suspects where here and in his office?? When The chief started to make light of this Kaleo frowned. She then stepped forward raised her note book and smacked The chief on the head with it. "Chief Reynolds that is no laughing matter! The suspects should have been placed jail cells for the safety of everyone! " Kaleo scolded. Toshiro was stunned at the fact the ones that attacked him, Cassandra and Kaede just beyond that door. But before he could react Kaleo had come over to him, " Mayor I ask that you, Cassandra and Kaede all go to another room for your own safety." She said in a soft gentle tone. She then looked back at Chief Reynolds with a more hardened look." Have some of your men guard them and I will be the one to speak to the suspects. It is very clear you are not taking this as seriously as you should. " Kaleo said in a more strict tone.

"Owowowow!" Chief Reynolds flinched, clutching at the sore spot on his head. Granted, it wasn't a particularly hard blow or anything, but the man seemed to oversell it a bit. "Geez, lady...!" He stopped rubbing at his noggin, forming a little pout as he glanced to Kaleo, but it quickly vanished as he offered a small smile. "...Ya ever consider doin' sports?" He quipped softly, trying to lighten up the situation. "Why, with an arm like that...!" Reynolds began, but it was clear Kaleo was having none of it.
"Chief Reynolds that is no laughing matter! The suspects should have been placed jail cells for the safety of everyone!"
The chief frowned. "Hey, hey...!" He lifted his hands up in defense. "I was told we didn’t have cells free...!" He tried to explain, but as the words came out of his mouth... he realized that was a pretty flimsy reason. In fact, were their holding cells ever full? Maybe there’d be a pair sitting in time out after a domestic dispute, or a handful of folks sobering up after a late night bar fight, but... there was nothing like a mob or protest group rounded up today; at least, not to his knowledge. Besides, he would’ve known about something like that!
...Right?
"Come to think of it," The chief murmured to himself, a pensive look on his face. His voice was barely above a whisper. "Who was the cop who told me that...?"
Something didn't line up.
The chief didn’t have much time to think on it, however.
"Have some of your men guard them and I will be the one to speak to the suspects. It is very clear you are not taking this as seriously as you should."
Again, Chief Reynolds began to protest, but quickly stopped; he didn’t really have a good case for himself. In his attempt to keep things upbeat and casual, Kaleo had a point: he very well could have put the witnesses in danger. Defeated, the man sighed and slumped away at the detective’s order.
Kaleo’s sensibility also seemed to quell Omega’s rage, if only a little. His fists loosened but he clearly remained firm and alert. "Stay with them," he murmured to his sister. "I at least trust the kitsune....” Omega glanced out of the corner of his eye. "I believe he is... capable."
"Where you are going?" She whispered back. It was one thing for him to speak so plainly, but from his phrasing, Cassandra gathered that he wasn’t going with her to a safer room. "You’re... not gonna do something dangerous, are you?"
"No," he shook his head, then turned to Kaleo, making his intentions clear to his sister. "If it is okay, I would like to... observe your interrogation." He frowned. "From outside. Through the glass." He paused. "If there is such a thing." Normally, logic would dictate that he would stay with his sister in the safety of another room, but Omega’s lingering anger overpowered his rationality. Any careful restraint to keep himself presentable was on the verge of falling out the window - he had a very strong feeling he would attack those men the second they were in striking range, but he needed to remain composed. He had to if he wanted to see wanted to see the cretins who endangered his sister.

When Kaede heard that the suspects were in the next room she had no doubt that it had to be Maruun and his cronies, or so she thought. If they really were there, then she would make sure they would regret seeing her again and with that she got up and said, "Yeah, sorry Kaleo but I'm not gonna just sit here either. I still have some unfinished business with those idiots." With that, she made her way to the chief's office. She still knew that if she was going to face them again, there was going to be trouble that never stopped Kaede before and it definitely wouldn't now, plus having Kaleo and Omega along would make things easier and she wasn't planing on fighting them single handed anyway. When she got to the office door it was locked on her but once the door was unlocked for her she was left dumbfounded and said while trying to contain her annoyance, "...th...that's not...them." In the end she noticed that the suspects were not Maruun and his men at all and instead someone else, and they looked nothing like them.

Kaleo was a bit surprised that Chief Reynolds listened to her without much protest. So now it really was up to her to shift through this little mess. When Omega asked if he could watch as she spoke to the suspects Kaleo nodded, " Yes you may watch form the other side." She said knowing the man was most likely not going to take no for a answer. When Kaede spoke up however Kaleo frowned a bit she had a feeling the young teen wanted to get into fight. Kaleo knew full well the feeling of revenge but starting a fight in a police station was not the best of ideas. " You may watch Kaede but no attacking them they are in custody already after all. And if you try I will stop you...." Kaleo said in a stern tone of voice. Kaleo knew she could not control Kaede but she wanted the teen to know she would not hesitate to stop her.
Some of the officers came to escort Toshiro and Cassandra the young half breed went with them to the safe room. Though thanks to his kitsune ears he had heard what Omega said about him. Trusted and thought he was capable. That gave him odd mix of feelings. He was grateful that Omega seemed to trust him but the same time Toshiro was not sure if he could really live up to that.. In the state he was in if a fight did break out he was unsure if he had the strength to do anything. When guided to a new room Toshiro entered sitting down in a chair, he clasped his hands resting them on his knees as he leaned forward a bit staring at the floor. He remained silent however not really knowing what to say.
Kaleo then headed to the door and made sure she was in front of Kaede so the girl could not just rush on in. When a officer came to unlock the door Kaleo was the first to enter making herself a block between Kaede and the suspects and relef flooded through her when Kaede said it was not them. Good she would no have to stop a fight after all. " Alight then dear... Out you go so I may speak to these gentlemen. " Kaleo said as she then gently pushed Kaede back out of the room, then quickly locked the door on her side. And just for good measure under her breath casted a sealing spell on the door so no one would be able to enter. Kaleo knew it was a bit risky to use magic as she tries to hide the fact she can use magic but.. Sometimes you just gotta do what ya gotta do. So now only her, Omega and the suspects where in the room. Kaleo did not want Kaede in here just in case these three did have ties to the thugs that attacked the mayor and the girls in the park.
Kaleo then turned to look at the three boys offering a smile as she then sat down in the Chief's chair across from them. She then opened her note book pen at the ready, " Hello, I am Kaleo Kasser, I am a private detective and I have some questions for you." She said in a cheerful tone. It was her usual thing, to do when speaking to suspects. They where more likely to talk if you are friendly over being cold and mean. But if she had to she would be stern, for now she just needed to know how to best deal with these three. " Also just so you know I will have surveillance cameras looked at to see if you are telling the truth." She said, " I would like to know where you where a few hours ago." Kaleo asked. It was a normal starter question, she planned as asking them about Maruun and even showing them the sketch she drew thanks to Toshiro.

After making their way into the safe room, Cassandra found herself sitting a chair or two adjacent to the kitsune. She awkwardly sat upright, resting the basket on her lap, tightly clenching the handle. She was still very much frightened at the idea of meeting Maruun again, even in a crowded police station full of people of the law. But... her brother had gone to check on the suspects, and he was skilled at fighting like the way those guys did, so surely she had nothing to worry about, right? ...Then again, they outnumbered him... and what if one of them managed to get lucky, and grab one of the officer's guns, and- "Kiiih...!" She tightly shut her eyes and exhaled a squeak, trying to push the thoughts out of her mind. The girl quickly grew self conscious of the sound she made and drew in a loud breath to cover it up, though it was probably too late by that point. She glanced at Toshiro, worrying how he would react, but it was clear other things weighed on his mind. "Uh... S-so!" She offered as a means of beginning a conversation. It was a bit more forceful than she meant it to be for someone who just wanted to lighten the atmosphere. Normally, she wouldn't even try, but maybe they both needed a brief distraction from whatever would be going on beyond the safe room. "Wh... What other kind of magic you can do?" She smiled nervously, though it reverted into a frown. "Er, I mean... that was magic, right? The little... recreation of that guy?" She didn't want to seem foolish if it was something else, like a hidden hologram projector. "'Cause, um... I've tried practicing... a little magic myself..." Cassandra peered downwards into the basket with a sheepish smile. "But... I'm not very good at it." ============================== When Kaleo opened the door, Omega's eyes widened as he struggled to contain his shock. "G-" he began, but quickly covered it up with a cough. What the hell were they doing here?! He was lucky the detective was facing away from him. Even after all of these years of putting up his faux villainous facades, remaining in character through even the silliest of his friends antics, nothing had quite prepared him for this. The expression on his face definitely betrayed his otherwise cool exterior. He was fortunate enough to quickly recover with Kaleo dismissing the young girl - honestly for the better, he thought. He didn't know much about Kaede, but if the detective's words were indication, well... The last thing they needed right now was a fight, especially not one with his own friends in the middle of a police station....Granted, Omega himself had salivated at the thought of a delivering beatdown of his own mere minutes before, but... he felt he was at least a bit justified. For years, his sister had struggled with recovering from trauma caused by three thugs in her childhood - and Omega wasn't about to let three thugs in her adulthood ruin that. It's just... these weren't the three thugs. They'd better not be.All of this thinking must have distracted Omega, because he hadn't even realized he had followed Kaleo in the room. He swore internally. He had just pointed out an interrogation flaw earlier, but here he was, already affecting this one before it even began! He should've stayed outside. Should he speak up? No, no, the detective already began. Omega groaned internally. The best he could do was keep quiet and put on his best glare to deter the others from speaking to him. After all, even if he knew the three and he doubted they were involved with what happened, he knew where they were on his priority list, and that was below the well being of his sister. "Oh, hey!" Riki was the first to notice Omega, giving him a friendly wave, but quickly lowered his hand at his glare. He and the others were aware of his tendency to be over dramatic, but something in the man's gaze quickly shut Riki up. When Chief Reynolds brought them in earlier, everything seemed more like a lighthearted joke, but with Omega here, maybe the situation was more grave than the three realized. Were... were they in trouble because of their little fight club hangout? Riki turned to the others, his expression communicating his concern. Honestly, the fact that the detective walked in on them not doing something stupid was a miracle in of itself. Omega at least hoped that Riki's greeting could've been taken as a general hello, rather than something directed at him. After all, he was the most respectable looking of all the men here - when he wasn't goofing off, that is. Honestly, one wouldn't even expect him to be the type, looking more like an office worker than a gang member. "Hello, I am Kaleo Kasser, I am a private detective and I have some questions for you," the detective had said, adding her warning and then asking them their whereabouts several hours ago. "Oh..." Calhoun was the first to speak, his southern accent slightly thicker than before. "Uhh... yeah. The Chief gave us a vague idea of what was going on, but..." He shifted a glance back to Omega, hoping he'd explain what was going on, but he was only met with a scowl. "The boss is innocent," Ricky repeated himself from earlier, though his folded arms were more akin to a child pouting compared to the dramatic soap opera objection he had done earlier with Chief Reynolds. "That's not what she was asking," Riki frowned, glancing in Ricky's direction. "Apologies, Miss Kasser." He gave her a reaffirming nod. "As for where the three of us were...""We were not beating up cute little mayors!" Ricky protested again. "...Or at least, the boss wasn't." He paused. "...Not that me and Riki were, either." He added. "Nor do we advocate that it any way!" He added again, quickly sitting up in his chair. "Damn, would ya stop?" Calhoun folded his arms and sunk into his seat, very close to facepalming in embarrassment. "Aww, but dude!" He gripped at the armrest closest to Calhoun, turning to face him. "I'm just tryin' to defend you, that's all!"Riki frowned. "But she was asking where we were!" He said, looking back to Kaleo. "We were at a bowling alley, by the way.""...We fight in a bowling alley?""No!" In the midst of all of this, one thing was clear for sure: Kaleo definitely had her work cut out for her.

"What? Hey! But I-", But before Kaede could finish talking she found herself back outside and locked out of the office. Now not sure what do, she knew she wasn't going to get in and if she tried to break the door down it would lead to a lot of unwanted trouble. All she wanted to know was who the guys were that were being held in the office and to see if they had any info about Maruun's whereabouts. "(well, if I can't get back into the office...maybe I can at least try to listen in on what they're talking about.)" Kaede thought as she tried to hear what was going on in the room. It wasn't easy to hear through the door but after a minute for two she found a sweet spot where she could eavesdrop on the conversation a bit more clearly. All she needed to do now was to hear if they guys knew anything about Maruun.

Kaleo did catch the hello Riki gave when they walked into the room, though she was to focused on the task at hand to pay it much mind. She would then sit there as the boys spoke it seemed they where confused and nervous. Also from what she had seen they where not aggressive at all.. If they where the same thugs as from the park this office would not have held them.. They just would have used their powers to get out. Yeah the more Kaleo thought about it the more its clear that Chief Reynolds arrested the wrong people.. And the fact that Kaede also said it was not them.. Dammit time has been wasted.. But Kaleo still had to question these boys in order to clear their names. She was not allow innocent people to to jail, as the boys spoke Kaleo took notes. When finished she looked at Ricky with a smile. " I am not here to accuse anyone. I am here to learn the truth, but I can only do that if you help me. I don't want to see anyone who is innocent go to jail for something they did not do." Kaleo said as she then fell silent to let her words sink in a bit. " The Mayor and two young ladies where attacked in the park a few hours ago, by a fire metahuman and his two friends. Who have the same hair color as as you two." Kaleo said nodding to Ricky and Riki, giving a hint as to why they where most likely brought in, in the first place.
She then looked at Calhoun, if she remembered right Toshiro said a masked hero had injured one of Maruun's knees.. " Young man, am I correct that nether of your knees are injured? If so may you stand up for me? " Kaleo asked. Yes the young mayor had shown them what Maruun looks like but Kaleo was just being thorough, everything had to be documented.

Toshiro had indeed been deep in his own thoughts, mostly so he would not go off in a panic. However when Cassandra spoke to him he was taken out of his thoughts. " Hmm? " he said as her question registered. "Oh, yes it was illusion magic. Kitsunes are known to use it for well.. Some like to play mean tricks on people with it others like me use it as a means to baffle our foes." He said, he had used it in the battle a few hours ago so Cassandra could get away safely. " As for other type of magic I know some elemental magic, Fire, ice, lighting. There is a lot more I could learn.. Though that is as far as I have gotten... My Mother was teaching me but... She is no longer here..." Toshiro said in a sullen tone. How he missed his parents he wished he could some how see them one more time.. Though not wanting to stop there Toshiro decided to asked, " What magic have you learned?" trying to get the subject off his Mother as it still hurt to talk about his parents.

Mean while back at Kaleo's office Zosima walked in only to see no one was there but a note had been left on Kaleo's desk. The undead teen picked it up and read it and gave annoyed sigh." Figures... Alright then." She said as she tossed the note and stared to make her way to the police station, Kaleo was there with Kaede.. Zosima had yet to meet the girl but she felt she already knew her from things Kaleo told her about her. After walking a few or more blocks Zosima arrived at the police station. She was never a huge fan of coming to places like these.. But if there was any chance of Kaleo being in danger she had to be near her older sister. Zosima then quickly came up with a false story that her purse had been taken by a thief. She then walked in looking angry and annoyed, " Hey! I need some help! Some creep just stole my purse!" She said though came to a stop when she saw Kaede trying to peek through the door. Zosima had to hold back a laugh at the sight, " Heh, over hearing anything good?" Zosima could not help but ask.
