Relationship:
He is incredibly loyal to Lucia while a little more temperamental with Diego. He finds Maru an amusing shapeshifting playmate and enjoys a friendly rivalry with him.
Personality:
Tuxedo prefers to do things at his own pace. His opinions on other people vary, but he can be a bit needy when it comes to their attention. He likes to put himself at the forefront of things and will resort to playing or mischief to keep focus on him. He dislikes being alone - unless he decides it, of course - but will either try to entertain himself or nap if he's not in any danger. He regards strangers with a playful curiosity, though Tuxedo can be a little insolent even with people he likes. He does not do well when scared or stressed, and if he cannot run to his friends for safety, Tuxedo will steel himself and fight like a cornered beast.
Powers:
Enhanced Cat Senses + Abilities
As a cat yokai, he has heightened speed and agility in both his cat and cat person forms. As a human, he can extend his nails into claws for attacking. He also has incredible balance and can correct his falls to almost always land on his feet. This is more accurate in his cat form.
Shapeshifting
Tuxedo's shapeshifting is more magical in nature. This allows him to maintain a form easier compared to Maru Kichimura, but Tuxedo's transformations are limited to what he knows. He can transform the size of his cat form, transform into other cats, or transform into other people. He does not gain the abilities of people he transforms into and only maintains their appearance. He can also imitate their voice accurately, but he is not good at replicating specific mannerisms or behavior.
Tuxedo mostly uses his ability to maintain a human form, which he can maintain even if he's fatigued. He will usually default to either human or cat form if he is unable to retain a transformation.
Iron Stomach
As a Bakeneko, he can eat almost anything, even if it's rotten or poisonous. This mostly applies to states such as mold or improperly prepared meals. A concentrated poison or harmful manmade chemicals in a meal can potentially get him sick, but his stomach can still process it.
Will-O-Wisp Tail Flame
Tuxedo can summon ghost fire, but it only emits from his tail. He can use his flaming tail as a lashing attack or as a means of providing a small light source. It can be put out by water, but its ghostly nature allows it to reignite it fairly quickly compared to normal flames.
Weaknesses:
Tuxedo can be a little simpleminded and is easily distracted by food. He also doesn't mind water but is adverse to open bodies of water. He can also still be killed by most means despite his yokai nature, whether it be weapons, magic or even unarmed combat.
History:
Tuxedo was an ordinary cat taken in by Lucia Churchill. Having been a stray for his one year of life, he was uncertain of her intentions - until he was given luxuries and comforts he had never even dreamed of being possible. Delighted, he would go on to be continuously pampered by the high class vampire. Lucia's constant doting would make him a bit spoiled and temperamental, but in the end he was grateful for the food and attention.
Perhaps it was responsible for his powers manifesting as a bakeneko. While most of these cat yokai brought trouble, for Tuxedo, he was ecstatic to simply use his shapeshifting for a human form. He was content (for the most part), but with a human form, he could communicate! He could be pampered more efficiently! He could vocalize exactly what he wanted! Unfortunately, he had failed to communicate who he was - because a cat person showing up without warning was more than startling to Lucia. Her werewolf friend, Diego, quickly engaged Tuxedo in defense of Lucia, believing him to be an intruder with ill intentions. However, once the cat managed to vocalize his identity, the scuffle quickly ended. It took the others some time to... adjust to Tuxedo's new ability, but in the end, he was still very much a spoiled housecat.
Despite this, Tuxedo's become part of the Wild Fangs, where he's since taken up fighting alongside Diego. While Tuxedo doesn't quite see eye to eye with Diego, he was easily bribed with enough food to help him out. He's even learned to enjoy combat, coming to see it as a game. Maybe the fights can get a bit dangerous sometimes, but... taking action is the least he can do to repay Lucia's affection.
Anything else:
- He'll eat anything, but he loves fish - especially tuna.
- Though Lucia has given him more refined tastes, Tux might rummage through restaurant dumpsters from time to time...
- He didn't like Diego much at first, but he's come to respect him more. Just a little. This won't stop Tux from trying to steal Diego's catches from his fishing trips.
