Relationships:
She looks up to her father Dalton, while she holds some fear of her mother due to being the stricter parent. Though she feels like she lives in her brother's shadow, he's always assured her otherwise. Even with her competitive streak against him, she does still love him deep down.
Personality:
Tatsuko is an impatient and headstrong girl with a bit of a temperamental streak. She's determined to prove herself capable and reliable, but she has a bad habit of facing things head on without a plan. She would rather take action than sit around, so she prefers to solve things with brute force more than thought. This makes her look more like a delinquent despite her desires to emulate her more heroic brother. She also tends to be loud, if not a little abrasive, but she ultimately means well. She doesn't work very well with others, but it does benefit her to have an ally who can help reign her in.
Powers:
Athletic Agility & Power Wrestling
Tatsuko's constant athletic training has made her agile and flexible. She moves quickly in combat and is accustomed to both taking and dodging melee strikes. While not superhuman, she's practiced her father's power wrestling style since her teen years, and as such has built up a small amount of muscle. This has given her a surprising amount of strength for a young woman, allowing her to throw two foes at once or pack an extra amount of power in an attack.
Weaknesses:
Tatsuko is a normal human, so she's susceptible to weapons, magic and other lethal means. Though athletic, constant performance also makes her more open to injuries and strains on her muscles. This is especially true with the effort she exerts with her style of power wrestling. She also sometimes struggles to lift or carry larger foes because her build isn't quite suited for her father's wrestling style.
History:
Tatsuko was born in Japan to an American wrestler and a Japanese police officer. Her father, Dalton Noble, was a minor celebrity known for playing the cartoonishly evil foreign heel known as Dragon Fang. He met his wife, Ryoko, while she was working as security at one of his shows. Tatsuko was the second child from their union, born several years after her older brother. Shortly after her first birthday, the family moved to America, where Tatsuko would grow up.
Several years after their move, her father Dalton briefly visited Japan for an anniversary show, bringing his son with him. When they returned home, young Tatsuko was stunned to learn that her brother had gained fire powers to protect their father from someone who tried to hurt him. Tatsuko was amazed at first, but she couldn't help but grow envious. She always admired her brother who always talked of justice and playing hero, but if that was enough to get him powers, why didn't she?!
This disdain followed Tatsuko as she grew older, despite her parents' reassurance. Even when her brother was always supportive of what she did, it only fanned her flames of envy. She found herself trying to emulate him, but her imitation was far from perfect. She copied his loudness, she copied his tendency to jump into things, but in the end she'd cause problems more often than not. It's not that Tatsuko was a troublemaker - she genuinely did want to help - but her eagerness to prove herself often overshadowed her common sense. It didn't help that she was quite brash and hot headed to begin with.
Still, Tatsuko was still determined to keep up with her brother and demanded training from her father once he thought her old enough. She'd come to learn his power wrestling style over time, adapting many of her techniques and movements from his wrestling knowledge. (She'd also picked up a few self-defense techniques from her mother's police training.) It was through this training and bettering herself that she realized she'd focused too hard on trying to be someone she wasn't. She'd lost sight of the ideals that she once shared with her brother, but even knowing this, she still struggled with her insecurities of living in his shadow. Once he left home to pursue a life as a hero under the name Burning Dinomyte, Tatsuko felt like she finally had room to breathe and could focus on herself.
As a young adult, Tatsuko and her family ended up moving to Aster City, where her mother joined its police force. Her father meanwhile was entertained with the city's colorful population, inspiring him to open up a small wrestling school. Tatsuko herself had already been working as a small-time wrestler, drifting around the independent wrestling circuit. She'd been competing under the name Tiger Fang rather than a variation of Dragon Fang, refusing to use her father's reputation as a starting point. Combined with the city's landscape of ever present trouble, Tatsuko saw the move as an opportunity to make a name for herself as a wrestler and maybe a hero...
Anything else:
- She started competing in wrestling at 18, though she'd been trained a little before that
- She helped Crow Blackmoore while using the alias Ribbon. She was one of three people who protected him from Bludd Moonbay.
