It was mid after noon on a weekend and many families where out with their children letting them play in the park. Among those to visit the bark was a new comer to the city, Esmeralda the wondering bard. She smiled a she watched the children play and the adults mingle among themselves. "Ah what a great day it is! The sun is shinning and not a cloud in the sky. And the perfect crowd as well. Well time to share A story to two hero's from humble beginnings!." The young bard mused to herself as she found herself a good spot, she then took off hat she was wearing placing it down net her feet. She then started to take her violin put of its case. The specially made violin seemed to shine a bit in the sun, it was clearly well taken care of. She then grabbed the bow and place her violin under her chin and started to play. It was happy up beat tune she started to play mainly to start getting some people's attention and of course it worked a few people started to look her way and even come over.
The young bard smiled, " If you wish to hear a story of two unlikely hero's then stay for I have a story tell!" Esmeralda said with she smiled and kept on playing. " There was a land that was under the rule of a iron fisted king! He had stolen the thrown from the rightful king, killing him and the rest of his family. Though little did he know there was still an air to the throne! The old king had been unfaithful to his queen and had a child with a servant. The young lad was now just a stable boy unaware of his true bloodline. Esmeralda then paused for dramatic effect playing some dramatic music to add to it. " The boy was only 18 and his mother now lay sick and dyeing though she wanted her son to know ta truth before she died so she had left him a letter before she breathed her last. When the lad read the letter he could not believe he was the son of the old king! So at first he refused to believe but then a friend of his, a lass also read the letter and told him he had to win back the throne and save the people from the evil king!" Esmeralda said as her playing started to get more serious and dark.
Ok she had hooked in a rather nice crowd now hopefully they where in the giving mood. Esmeralda needed money for food after all, "The lad knew his friend was right and it was something his Mother would have wanted. His friend offered to help and did not take no for a answer so now two farmhands started on a quest to take back the kingdom and dethrone the evil king. Of course this did not go unnoticed by the king and soon he sent men to kill the lad and his friend. Though they where not with out allies of their own. The former knights of the late king joined in their cause. After many intense battles the boy was now a man and ready to face off with his foe! And his friend who started out with him by his side, soon the two confronted the evil king at last and clashing of steel could be heard. It was a battle for the ages! Nether side moving a inch. Each side had grown tired and weak though our two hero's where not done! In one last attempt they both attacked and after another wave of clashing of steel the evil king now lay dead. And the land was saved! It was also then and there the new king asked his lass to be his queen. Esmeralda then played one last dramatic sound before ending and giving a bow to her crowed. The people listening clapped and a few cheered as some of them started to toss tips into her hat and leave.
The bard smiled," Ah thank you glad you enjoyed it~ Stay tuned for some music playing!." She said a she then started to play again this time just music as people gave her tips.

Uahi was not in a good mood. He'd just lost most of his money on his trip to the game corner. It would be a long walk back to his place, so he'd decided to cut through the park. Thinking that there would be less people there than in the busy streets of this damned city, he was furious to see a woman standing on a bench playing instruments and trying to sing. The words went right through him. All he knew was that it didn't rhyme and that made it unacceptable. So, the sour and stinky man clad in old robes clasped his hands into a cup around his mouth and boo'd. "BOOOOOOOO. WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! IT DOESN'T EVEN RHYME. IT HAS NO FLOW" Feeling like taking more abuse than usual today, he waited for a response.

Esmeralda was no stranger to those who would express their dislike for song and music, she just merely gave a smile to the man as she played her violin. There where many reasons why a person would show anger, one they where having a bad day two they wanted to see if they could rattle her. Or that they did not like her performance, in this case it looked like a bit of both of having a bad day and dislike. The people in the crowed seemed to be getting annoyed with the man casting him angry looks. Though Esmeralda kept playing her violin with a soothing sound that reached their hearts and calmed them down. There was no need for a fight to break out after all. " You are of course entitled to your own opinion my good sir~" Was the reply from Esmeralda not even phased by such words. She was not going to fight back or defend herself what would be the point? It would just cause a needless fight anyway, something she did not need to happen around children who had just come here to play.
The best she could do was just keep calm and offer a smile to the man. So despite his booing the young bard just kept playing her music enjoying herself. besides what kind of bard would she be if she let someone booing get the better of her? Not a very good one to be sure. Besides this would not be the first time she has been booed and surely it wont be the last ether. It was just something that came with being a bard, at times they would have to deal with someone who disliked their performance it happens it was best not to take to personally.

The complete and utter dismissal Uahi experienced just then was like being slapped across the face by an invisible hand. Was he really unable to phase this woman? He had to try harder. And he had a plan. Using the 'suggestive' powers of his foul stinky aura, he parted the crowd like Moses, and made straight for the girl. "Well, if you're so 'confident' in your abilities, why don't you sing us another? Please, something catchy this time." He then sat down on the ground and pulled out a fat cigar. Somehow kicking it back as if he were sitting on a chair, legs crossed and everything. He was on the ground lounging in front of her. He knew full well that within the next minute or so, she would begin to choke on his somewhat toxic gases, ruining whatever song she hoped to sing. "If you're able to do that for me, I'll give you all the money in my pockets." He said with a sly grin on his face.

The moment Uahi started to mess with the people that had gathered to hear her play Esmeralda's demeanor changed. She would happily deal with anyone trying to mess with her. But when they start to bring others into it and show no regard for others that is a different story. The young bard coughed a little when the odor coming off the man reached her. Ok this one was going to have to go.. If he was hear to pick a fight right in front of wee little ones she would be all to happy to put a stop to it. " Ahhh I see you are the type to bully others eh? Sorry sad little man but I don't have to prove me self to you. Though if you don't leave now I shall be more then happy to give you a ear full you shall never forget." Esmeralda said with smile as she once again placed the bow on the strings of her violin. She would only give one warning, if he did not listen then he would bring this banishment unto himself.

"Why are you threatening me? I carefully made my way to the front of the crowd to observe your craft up close. I mean, to threaten somebody practically laying on the ground is a blatant use of force. And even after I offered to pay you for your performance. My body is already frail, for reasons I can't get into now, which is why I decided to take a break and sit down in the first place." He took the cigar out of his mouth. "And if this is what the problem is, I won't smoke it so close to you. But please, I am interested in hearing a song."
(editors note) To be clear, he didn't touch or move anybody by force. His smell coerced others to move away from him.

Ooh this one was smooth indeed, Esmeralda gave another smile shaking her head. " If that be true you would not have booed me, and not had made such a fuss." The Bard said as she then lowered the bow of her violin. " Why don't you give up this farce my good sir.. You don't wish to hear me play I think that point is very much clear.." She said as she then pointed at the bow at Uahi. "You must know I would not be able to sing very well with that odor coming from your body.." Esmeralda said calling him out on that as she could feel her throat was getting irritated. "You are here to cause trouble and nothing more.. If you don't like my stories you are free to leave no one is keeping you here." Esmeralda said coughing a little once more. " I would rather sing for free for the crowd of people you drove away with your stink then take one cent from you." Esmeralda said standing firm, she was not one to be pushed around easily.

Unwilling to sulk away from the crowd like a loser that lost, he pulled out his lighter, tipped, flicked, and lit his cigar. He then laid down where he sat. Breathing in a heavy fume. Exhaling out of his nose. The farce of civility and the depressant properties of his unique not yet patented mix actually calmed him down. Looking up at the sky, he was nearly content to doze off then and there. It was a nice day after all. The sun was out, the grass not wet, but not dry and brittle. Some birds were chirping in the distance. But right before he lost himself completely to the sound of the world around him, he remembered about that girl he was just fighting. Seemed like yesterday to him. But she was actually still standing there wasn't she? He focused his vision to find out.

Esmeralda knew she had won the moment the man had laid down on the ground, seemed he was a child after all... A man would have just walked off. No he had it lay there like a spoiled child who did not get their way. The young Bard gave a smile looking down at the sad strange man. " Ahhh Sulking like a little child are we? You win on the regards you are making me move but that is about it my good sir. But be warned you try something like this again I will not be so kind.. I will make your ears bleed..."Esmeralda said in a cold dark tone as she then stepped off the bench picking up her things and moved away from Uahi and walked to another bench stepping up on it and once again and started to play a soothing melody trying to calm the nerves of the people who had just witnessed the fight she just had with Uahi. Was she going to let that sad little man ruin the rest of her day? No of course not but she was ready to further ruin his day if he dared try anything else.

Content having heard the words "You win", Uahi got up and resumed his walk home. He would have to walk for nearly two hours to get there, and the sun would start setting before long. He did want to hear one more song by the Bard. A little something to see if his words changed how she structures hers. He could stick around, but as usual, he didn't think his presence was welcome any longer. The large smelly man began to walk away.

Off in the distance there was a sound of a lyre that seemed to be playing an up beat if not playful song. The music became louder and it was revealed that the half elf bard Etune was the one practicing through the park "Oh cool! Someone performing in the park! What kind of stuff do you do!" The short girl said with a huge grin crossing her face.

As she played her soothing song she saw the people starting to relax once more, good she did not want their visit to ruined she was glad she was able to help them feel at ease. Though as she played a new song could be heard. Esmeralda looked over and saw a young girl playing a lyre. She was good with it and she then stopped in front of Esmeralda asking what else she could do, Esmeralda smiled as she kept playing. " Well My good Madam I play a verity of music, and I sing songs I have collected over my travels sadly I cannot sing right now. My throat is rather irritated due to a not so pleasant fellow that was here just now."Esmeralda replied as she continued to play her song. She may have to visit a doctor later as it would be devastating to lose her voice.

Etune stopped and dropped her lyre seemingly shocked by the revelation of Esmeralda not being able to sing. "What! You cannot sing due to an irritation?! Then it is unadvisable to continue on! You might get in a rhythm, and start singing along with your own stuff!" She slammed her hands on the closest thing to her which was a tree "Please good bard or whatever your name is! drink some tea or rest!"

Sevris was at the park just taking in the nice day after he blasted the three annoying ghosts again with his chaos magic but then a woman's song would have gotten his attention and he turned to look at the girl singing, my oh my what a lovely song and it actually made him a smile a little bit but it was shortly lived when that man started booing for no reason and insulting that girl's performance but she seemed to be handling rather well so he didn't intervene, at least until the guy so rudely laid there and let his foul order ruin her throat and once heard her admit defeat and he had left the wizard had enough and thankfully the man was able to master one meek healing spell but it should be enough to heal a injured throat, right?
So the man got up and approached the woman and gently placed the end of his dark staff on the ground as he looked at the girl "pardon me my lady..I couldn't help but hear everything that happened. My name is Sveris Calmane, I'm a mage who has the power of chaos magic at the tip of my fingers...I too am a preformer for the crowd's amusement and I'm sorry that man bothered you for no reason at all but it also happens I know one meek healing spell..it's not that powerful due to the fact..well...I'm a mage of chaos so healing spells don't mix with my magic so well but it might be enough to heal that throat of yours, shall I give it a try?" he asked calmly as he looks at her with a worried expression in his eyes
In return perhaps we should combine our talents? you sing a story and I use my magic to create the characters? he asked with a small but gentle smile but then he'd glance the direction that man went and secretly cast a spell of misfortune upon that man..if he had a bad day already it was about to get worse for him, perhaps a car splashing water on him? stepping in dog poop? not even Sevris could know the consequences that foul man is about to experience
