New in town ( open)

It had been a few weeks now, Project five had gotten away from the only home she knew, she did not know anything about the outside world besides what little she was told from those who raised her. And what she could get from reading their minds. That is also how she learned what they wanted to use her for.. To hurt others and from what she gathered it was wrong. It was mostly coming from the ones who had really cared about her and did not want her to be a weapon. Though most of the ones who had raised her where dead she did try to make sure the ones she liked lived but she was unsure if they did. None of that mattered now she was in this city called Aster.


Project 5 had been watching the people here as well as the none humans. She learned a lot by just watching, but she needed to know more she just did not know how.. The best would to be interact with these people.. But she was never taught how to interact.. Just trained to fight and how to control her powers.. So the Beastman just wondered around learning what she could. Though as she did she came to a scene. A group was ganging up on a boy, Project 5 watched as they beat him and took his stuff and laughing while they did it. She could feel the emotions of the gang, as well as the boy. Something in her felt this was wrong.. So she then stepped up and with out a word dropped kicked one of the members.


This of course shocked the gang, Project 5 then looked at the boy showing no emotion. "Leave now." She simply stated and with that the boy ran. Project five then looked at the others who now where wanting to attack. "The actions you wish to take are ill advisable.. You will get hurt.." Project 5 said with no emotion. But it did not seem the gang was going to listen as one of their members went in for the attack. Project 5 eyes then started to glow and the gang member was then forcibly shot backwards with a psychic push and hit a near by building hard. She then went on and did the same thing to the others not really caring how badly they got hurt. She had warned them and they ignored it. What happened to them was now their fault. Then the Bestmen walked away as she did though she could hear the groans of pain coming from the gang members, at least they lived then.. Hopefully they would listen better.

Technology. It brings the world together and yet all it takes is a single error to tear that all apart. Companies brought to their knees by mere computer programs. Cities wiped off the face of the planet because of a miscalculation in data. It was a harsh reality that some wish to forget and go about their merry ways as if it were never a possibility. The mere thought of something going wrong or someone hacking your personal data was something the population hardly ever considered until it was too late. That was the current reality the people of this planet lived and no one realized it. Everything from research, to weapons, to bank information, to hospitals now relied on technology. All it would take is one single speck in the data to be incorrect and everything people held near and dear would be gone.

However, that was a job for someone else. Unless of course there was no choice but that was something K didn't want to even consider right now. Not when things were quiet for a change. She had only been here a matter of a few days and already her migraines weren't as strong as the last city she'd been in. In a way, it was calming and yet at the same time a tad foreboding. Right now, her mind was like a leaky dam. Strands of data everywhere, leaking through the cracks in her mind's defenses. It wasn't overwhelming, not yet anyway. It was just enough to let her at least keep touch with what she could do.

Shaking her head slight and pushing the thoughts aside, K continued walking down the street. There was a small shop she intended to visit to grab a few minor things. And that's when a small...altercation caught her eye. Her slate grey gaze watched the scene unfold along with several onlookers. People getting thrown backwards without so much as a hand being laid on them was out of the ordinary. But that wasn't all that was strange. There was a beast..person...hybrid....thing present. Lovely, as if this world couldn't get any more weird. The thought was instinctive and dripping with sarcasm. Though K's demeanor was still calm, seeing this bothered her. It was an abomination. An aberration. And that thing was here in the city she was calling home. Narrowing her gaze at the beast person, K turned away and started walking away from the scene, her mind reaching out to any nearby cameras to get a glimpse of the hybrid's face. If she could so much as get that, then it'd be child's play to find out who and where this thing was from.

Project 5 kept walking down the sidewalk, she could feel some of the thoughts from the bystanders. Most where mixed, happy she had taken out the gang but now feared her. Others where just happy as some for whatever reason disliked her. With so many thoughts going off at once Project 5 was not bothered to try to read all of them. There for she did not catch K's thoughts as they where lost in the sea of everyone's else's thoughts. She then came to a shop that had stuff displayed behind a window. Project 5 stopped to look at the stuff, this is what humans called window shopping.. They looked but did not buy. It was all she could do anyway as she did not have this money thing they where all obsessed over. How she could get this money she did not know.. So for now she had to steal to eat when she got hungry. But she was not hungry so Project 5 just wanted to take a look around the city. After a bit Project 5 then moved away from the store window and started to walk down the side walk once again.
