What's going on here? (Yuki)

Stars sparkled like diamonds in the velvety darkness of the night sky. The moon washing the world beneath in a silver white glow. The evening was calm, all except for a single place whose bright lights and sounds permeated the stillness of the night. The blare of music and the rush of bright flashing lights was easily overwhelming to those who weren't used to it. However, it all depended on whose eyes the world was being seen through.

In a way, the world was being seen through the eyes of a computer and yet it had a human consciousness. Though the world was seen for the marvel it was, there was something else this being could see that the average human could not. Data. It was the combination of codes that made each of these machines work for the amusement of humans and it was that very same combination of codes that connected every phone, every computer, and every technological wonder in this so called "park". It was that monstrosity of codification that allowed a certain artificial intelligence to blend into the normal populace. "Gear" as he had been so comically nicknamed by his creator had been outfitted with a hologram projector.

Today, he appeared as an average Joe wandering the mass of people. He had decided to give his dear creator something to enjoy should she look through his eyes as she was so fond of doing. With every step he took through the crowd, his eyes scanned the people. He was looking for something. What that something was, he didn't quite know but she did. And most likely he would be stopped by her when he found whatever it was.

Gear was not the only robot running around the amusement park. Sunny a robotic cat was prowling around, Yuki had given them some days off to enjoy themselves. Lucky and Silver where coming but for now she was alone. She walked around the masses weaving in and out of people being careful not to be stepped on. Not that it would hurt but it was still annoying! Who knew where those dirty shoes of humans have been? Besides she did not want to get her fur dirty she did have standers after all. She then was able to break away from the crowed a bit and shook her body a little. "Man humans need to stop being such stompers.." She said, though something caught her eye. A young boy looking around the age of 13 was stealing from people's pockets. A sigh escaped the cat, she was off duty but she felt she had to say something. "Hey kid stop that and go home." She called out and of course that startled the boy, as he looked over at her. Sunny smiled,"Yes a cat just spoke to ya now you better listen or I may have to get rough." She said as she got into a pouncing stance her tail moving in the air.The boy dropped what he had taken and ran off. Sunny laughed it was so much fun to do that.. Anyway she was here to play not work! " Come on Lucky and Silver... Slow and late as normal.." Sunny said with a sigh as she then jumped up on a bench and sat down as she waited.

Gear stuffed his hands in his hoodie pockets as he made his way through the crowd. For a moment, his scanners picked up the presence of a robot nearby but nothing quite drew his attention. A robot around here was odd, out of the ordinary, so he disregarded the warning that his scanners picked up and continued on his way. At least he had...before he saw a child picking the pocket of another passerby out of the corner of his eye. His gaze focused on the child, scanning the vitals to make sure that he was just a boy but that wasn't what he found more interesting.

What made him pause for a moment, was a cat. Not just any cat. A cat that was able to frighten the wannabe thief. Now that was interesting. Moving quietly through the crowd, he tailed the cat until it rested on a bench. "A cat that can talk. How strange." Though he stood a few paces away from the bench, he made sure the cat could hear him. After all, it wasn't every day he saw a mere feline setting off warning bells in his mind.

Sunny sat on the bench as she waited and scanned the area looking for her two older brothers. But she did saw see them just yet, how boring! This was supposed to be a play day and they are late! Her tail started to twitch as she grew even more annoyed. But then she heard a voice talking about a talking cat. Sunny knew the person was referring to her. So she turned her head to look and saw what seemed to be a human wearing normal shoes, jeans and a hoodie. She then smirked, " You are not the first to say that and most likely wont be the last. How may this talking cat help you?" Sunny asked with a chuckle as she looked at the man. Though soon the two of them where joined by two others, Lucky and Silver had showed up. "Sunny!" Lucky called as he came up to them. And Silver said nothing as he landed on a perch near by. Sunny looked at her two brothers with a frown. 'What took you guys so looong? I was so boooorrreeeeed!!!" She complained in a whining manner. Lucky rolled his eyes and shook his head, " Stop being a drama cat ok? We are here now... Hey who's that?" Lucky said with a slight growl when he noticed Gear. Sunny just shrugged, "Dunno some guy shocked by a talking cat.. And is now most likely shocked by a talking dog." Sunny said as she looked back at Gear. Wondering how he was going to react.

Gear watched carefully as the cat and the dog interacted with one another. It was very strange how two such creatures could be so close, however there was something in particular that kept him there. His scanners had picked up the same type of reaction from the dog that he had sensed from the cat. There was something familiar yet foreign from the two of them.

"How very strange that two individual creatures who shouldn't get along, are spending time together." He found their interacting amusing and yet it was distracting him from his goal. He had several things he needed to take care of today but this seemed like a good way to gather some unknown data. After all, his so called creator was a manipulator of data and observed most changes in the networks of the city. Keeping an eye on the pair closely, he took a step closer hoping to get some type of reaction from either of the two for researches sake.

His patience had always been thin but curiosity had always been a good way to keep his attention. This time a certain little dog and a certain little cat had caught his attention and one way or another he was going to see just what made them tick.

As the man spoke and even took a few steps closer, Sunny and Lucky just looked at him and blinked. Unsure what the guy was trying to do but did not feel threatened. But Silver who was looking at this from above was weary. Something was not right with this human but he could not tell what.. But just to be safe the hawk flew down and landed next to his siblings, but once again said nothing as he kept a eye on Gear. " Oh Hey there Silver almost forgot you where here. Would it kill ya talk?" Sunny said with a smile as she teased her brother. Silver looked at her, " There is something off about this human." Silver stated. Sunny and Lucky tilted their heads. " Aww come on is that all ya have to say? Duh there is something odd about this human, captain obvious. But then again all humans are weird." Sunny said as she then started to lick her paws. Lucky rolled his eyes, and here he thought they had come here to have fun.. Lucky then looked at Gear, " Is there something we can help you with? If not we will be on our way.." Lucky said as he started to walk away and the other two started to follow.
