Haunted Hotal ( Lepa)

Things had been slow for the ghost hunting team, their boss has been being super picky for the " next big thing." So Zoey reached out to Ethan, and their new co worker Veil Rosario. After she had done some digging and found the Starlight Hotel. Three different ghosts had been seen. A tall shadow man, a little girl and a weeping woman can he heard. When Veil agreed to help them out Zoey then contacted the hotel and booked it just for them for three whole days. Zoey with Ethan's help gathered all their gear and went to pick up Veil and headed to the hotel. It was very pretty old looking hotel, it was built around the same time the city was founded. " Oooh look at this place!! Its as old as the city itself, and prettier in person. The photo's do not do it any justice." Zoey awed as they parked. She had her camera running as she spoke

Ethan who was diving nodded, " Yeah, it is pretty they have done well with the up keep." He said as Zoey pointed the camera at him. She then pointed it at Veil so he could say a few words a well. With the intro done Zoey turned off her camera getting out when the car came to a full stop. " Ok~ quick reap their are three ghosts that have been seen here. A tall shadowman, a small child and a weeping woman. Room 27 is the tall man's room, 48 is the child's and room 78 is the woman's. What rooms do you guys want?" Zoey asked. Ethan thought about it for a bit and answered. " I'll take room 27." He knew nothing about these ghosts but if the man was aggressive in anyway he rather the tall man pick on him then the others. Zoey smiled and nodded and looked at Veil. " What room do you want Veil?" She asked but she had a feeling what room he would take.

Another day, another wacky adventure that involved throwing himself at mystical and occult forces that he barely understood! Hurray! Was it a good idea? Probably not! Was it good writing material? Oh hell yeah - not that Veil was doing it solely for his muse, of course. It was good motivation, sure, but he figured he qualified for the job. He helped out his magical best friend escape a marathon of supernatural hauntings, dealt with zombie dinosaurs revived by said friend's brother, and he helped outsmart some organized crime ring that involved both! Surely, Veil could handle a few ghosts!

...At the very least, he hoped his new coworkers could. It might not have been his first rodeo, but Veil still had a lot to learn about the spookies. His previous adventures only served to merely desensitize him, and even then, he wasn't sure if that statement was entirely true... Well, nonetheless, he supposed he'd find out on the job!

It wasn't too long until they arrived at this... supposedly haunted hotel. Zoey spoke up first.

"Oooh look at this place!! Its as old as the city itself, and prettier in person. The photo's do not do it any justice."

"Yeah, it is pretty they have done well with the up keep," Ethan agreed.

"Looks about as old as my dad," Veil chuckled. "You said it's called the Starlight Hotel, right...? Pretty romantic name, if ya ask me," he mused with a wink. After the camera went off and they finally came to a stop, Zoey quickly re-summarized the little haunting problem the hotel had been having. Of the three ghosts they were to investigate, Ethan went first, claiming the tall looking one.

"Oooh, pretty brave of ya there, bud!" Veil applauded. "Thought I'd get last pick and be stuck with him," He gave a small laugh. It left him and Zoey with the two... less intimidating sounding ghosts, though he wasn't complaining by any means. He was grateful, in fact!

"What room do you want Veil?"

"Haah...? Well..." He trailed off thoughtfully and folded his arms, using a free hand to tap at his cheek. The gesture was exaggerated and playful - it was pretty obvious which one he preferred. "Do you really have to ask? ...Hah, of course you do. I'll take room 78~!" He practically sang, pressing his hands together. "Aah~ Poor woman... To have anguish so great that the sound of your weeping echoes beyond the mortal coil..." He frowned as his theatrical muse took over. "Whatever it is that ails her, I hope that I may bring some peace to her aching heart!" He clasped at his own heart dramatically. He paused, then dropped the act. "...And that she's not, like, a scorned lover who'll kill me or anything. Ahaha..." Veil trailed off with a nervous laugh.

Zoey and Ethan exchange glances when Veil said he wanted the weep woman's room. Zoey cracked a smile and Ethan just nodded. They knew what room he would pick hence why Zoey let him pick first. " hahaha I'm sure it will be alright, though she may be a white lady.. So who knows." Zoey said in a spooky jokingly manner, truth be told she did not know much about the ghosts, expect what they look like after looking at a few photo's that had been taken. She liked taking cases on not knowing anything and rather get info from the ghosts and then verify things later. Unlike her boss that would look everything up just to set up the story for the show.. How annoying their boss was.. But hey she landed her dream job even though she has to be a "screamer" for the camera. Agh how she hated that.. But whatever.

"Oh before we go in, your bracelets.. Can I have them for a moment? I would like to re bless them," Ethan said. The blessings only lasted so long so every time they went to a haunted location he had to bless them again. So yeah thanks to that it made him the religious one in the group, believing in the Spirit Queen. That was because he was half spirit himself so he thought it would be rude not to revere her. Thankfully mostly everyone has been respectful of that and happily took the beaded bracelets he had made. Even if it was just to humor him. Their boss though was the only one who scoffed at him and has refused to take one however. Ethan often wondered why a guy who did not believe in spirits even started a ghost hunting show... Nah he knew the answer, it was all about money. " Could you step out while I do so?" He asked. He did not like anyone watching as he blessed the bracelets. He was using his own power so they tended to glow as he blessed them.

"Oh sure~" Zoey said in a sing song voice as she took off her bracelet handing it over to Ethan and got out of the car, she looked at Veil before closing the door. " Come on Veil I'll show ya the camera you will be using during our stay here." Zoey said with a smile and closed the door. She then moved to the back of the car opening up the truck and started to take their equipment out.

Once they where both out of the car Ethan held the bracelets in his hand and covered them with a towel so the glow could not be seen. He closed his eyes and focused on the bracelets. They would start to glow as his power flowed into them. It only took a few minutes and they stopped glowing and where recharged.


" Ok~ This is the handheld video camera we will be using. It this button to it on, this one to record and to turn on night vision. I also brought along a few head mounted camera as well if you wanna use that. Free's up your hands to hold a flashlight and other stuff like a emf reader. " Zoey explained. Everyone had ways they liked doing stuff so she liked to make sure their where plenty of options.

Soon after Ethan came out locking the door of the car and walked over to Zoey and Veil. He held out their bracelets, " Here." He said. Zoey smiled and took hers putting it back on. " Alright! Lets head in shall we?" Zoey said happily as she picked up some bags of gear and made her way inside. Ethan also took some bags and followed in after Zoey. He looked at some windows on the higher floors and he could see someone looking down at them. " Already watching huh?" Ethan would think to himself. Even out here he could feel them, though that meant they could sense him to..

Once inside they where greeted by the receptionist who smiled warmly at them. " Hello, you must be Zoey, Ethan and Veil. I am Ella I am the receptionist, have any questions feel free to ask. Their are a few other staff members, such as a few maids, a cook and waiters. To make sure your stay is comfortable. she said. She then moved over to the keys and took down the ones they where going to stay in. Placing them on the counter. " Here are the keys to your rooms, rooms 27, 48 and 78."

Zoey smiled as she took the key for room 48, Ethan took the key for room 27.

" Ok, so you will be able to enter any room but the staffs rooms. As for the kitchen please don't go in there while the cook is working. " Ella said.

" Right thank you~ Well I am gonna head to my room see ya guys in a bit." Zoey said as she left and started to walk up the stairway. Ethan nodded and also started to make his way to his room. They where here.. The tall man, the woman and the child.. Looking at them and watching... Though Ethan acted like he did not see them. More often then not it was NOT a good idea to let ghosts know you can see them.
