It was early in the morning, school had not started yet but students where starting to gather as they wanted for classes to start. One if them was a young teen called Jason, he had been out of school for a whole year as he went to rehab. Now he was enrolled into a new school and had high hopes of life getting better from here on out. The first thing he wanted to do was to make new friends, real ones that truly cared and did not just want him for his powers. Jason took a deep breath and exhaled as if calming his nerves and walked through the front door. Jason had his classroom assignment sheet and was looking it to get the room number of his first class. As he made his way down the halls he spotted a familiar face. It was the guy that was enrolled the same day he was! Jason had come here with his parents to meet the school principal, though this guy had gone by himself. Jason smiled as he ran over to the other teen.
"Heey!! We meet again dude! My name is Jason but you can call me Jay, what's your name?" he asked.
The other student looked at Jason with a blank expression, "I am Silver" He said in a deadpan tone.
Whoa, talk about cold! Eh perhaps he was just shy or somthing. Jason then stole a look at Silver's classroom assignment sheet and smiled.
"Oh neat! We share the same classes! How about we go to class together?"" Jason asked in a cheerful tone.
Silver nodded, "Ok." He said, there was no reason to disagree with the idea.
Jason smiled happily and the two where soon in their first class, Jason decided to sit in the very back and Silver decided to sit in the seat next to him. Jason blinked a bit but smiled, "Awsome, perhaps he wants to be friends." Jason thought to himself as he pulled out a book and started to read as he waited for the teacher to show up.
Silver mean while sat there as he stared at the front of the class as he waited. In truth he did not want to be here.. But Yuki wanted him to learn how to be more human if he was going to have this human body... He did not see the point but he was going to try and do what Yuki wished of him. So far one student seemed to talk him, the boy he had seen when he first enrolled. He would stay with him for now.

It wasn't like Mr. Suzuki to be late.
The man was punctual. He was organized. He had his lesson plans down to the minute. His efficiency was envious, but some people were just... like that. It was no wonder there were rumors circulating around about him being some kind of sophisticated android. Hell, he sure operated like a well oiled machine... He didn't even seem to show much emotion, or at least not wear them on his sleeve, so it was pretty easy to see how the rumors came about...
Riki would've believed it himself if it weren't for the fact he seemed so sweet on Ms. Clover. (Well, as sweet as a stoic man could be, anyway.)
Reiji's personal life wasn't any of his business, though. As unbelievable as it was, the simple fact was that he was going to be late, so Riki was tasked with holding the fort down until he finally arrived. He didn't expect it to be too difficult - math was pretty cut and dry, and Reiji usually kept a copy of his lessons in his desk. Easy peasy.
"G'morning," Riki greeted as he hurried into the class. "Hope you enjoyed the wait! Mr. Suzuki's gonna be running a bit late today," he shrugged, placing his messenger bag on Reiji's desk. "So I'm substituting until he gets here." He unlooped the bag strap, letting it hang over the side of the desk. "Some of you might know me, but," He then approached the whiteboard, scribbling out "Mr. Ohara" in the corner. "I'll leave this up here juuust in case... Anyway, someone wanna start an attendance sheet?"

The students in the class where talking among themselves as they waited for Mr. Suzuki to show up. " Wow normally Mr. Suzuki is here already.." One student said.
" Heh perhaps mister robo got sick for once." Another said.
Jason could not help but listen in as the other students talked about the teacher being late. " Mister Robo? Yikes this guy sounds like rigid dude..." Jason would say quietly to himself. Well he still hoped he could get along with the teacher, major part of school life was how well teachers and students could get along after all. Jason looked over at Silver, he was just sitting there looking at the front of the class with a stoic expression. Jason shrugged as he then looked at his math books. Agh math... He was never his best subject... BUT he was gonna do his best, this was his fresh start after all!
Suddenly someone came through the door.
"Hope you enjoyed the wait! Mr. Suzuki's gonna be running a bit late today, so I'm substituting until he gets here."
Jason looked at Riki and watched as he put his name up on the board and started to get set up. The teacher was late huh? He then asked someone to start the attendance. When Mr. Ohara was facing the class Jason's eyes grew wide. Flash backs of when his gang fought the Ammo Clan. This guy... He is a Ammo Clan member!! " What the hell?? No way!" Jason thought to himself as he grew pale. What the heck was a gang member doing as a staff at a school?? Oh shit what happens if this guy recognizes him? In a panic Jason looked down at his desk looking at his math book. " N-no its... Its fine, I no longer have tattoos, or red hair.." Jason would think to himself trying to stay calm but his body would start to tremble in fear and he started to break out in a cold sweat.
This would not go on noticed, Silver happened to look over at Jason. Seeing he was staring at his desk and was now trembling and sweating. Natalie another classmate sitting at the other desk next to Jason noticed as well. Then at the same time both Natalie and Silver reached out placing their hands on his arms. This shocked Jason out of this thoughts as he looked at both Natalie and Silver. Natalie gave him a warm smile as if saying everything is alright. Silver still had a straight face but his eyes where filled with concern. AH CRAP he made them worry! Jason then made himself calm down and mouthed "sorry" And " I'm ok" to both Silver and Natalie. Though he kept his eyes looking down at his desk, unable to bring himself to look at Riki.
Mean while, while that all happened a student happily stepped up and started a attendance sheet. " When I call your name please say "here"!" The student called. They started to name off names.
The last few names where then called, " Natalie"
" Here." She replied
" Silver"
"Here." He said.
"Annnd Jason."
"H-here"" Jason replied.
With the attendance sheet marked The student then happily gave it to Riki before going back to their seat.

"A-thank you!" Riki nodded, taking the sheet back from the helpful student. He skimmed through the list of names, glancing up every so often to see if he could place a face to one. He frowned, then double checked the list again. "Hey, uh... Jason, is it?" Riki glanced down at the name again. He was the last one called, so that had to be him, right? He didn't remember seeing him around before. "Are you... feeling okay? Do you need to step out for a moment?" He gave a sympathetic grin. "Or is it just one of those mornings...?"
If Riki didn't remember him, then maybe he'd transferred over recently - a new school was always pretty nerve wracking, after all. Is that why he seemed a bit pale? Aah, but then he'd just made it worse calling him out like that, didn't he? Riki pressed his lips together for a moment, glancing downward and idly scribbling on a sticky note to internally berate himself. Perhaps he should've gone over and asked him more privately... No need to draw attention like that to someone, especially high school kids, given how cruel they could be. At least gave him an out with the third option... right?
As he sat in his thoughts, Riki caught movement in the corner of his eye. He glanced aside. His eyes quickly widened. Was... that a finger? A hand? An arm?! As it clung to a latch and opened one of the windows, a large, black rectangular frame came into view. Riki jumped to his feet to face the potential threat, only for his jaw to drop in disbelief.
"M... Mr. Suzuki?!"
The taller man - the aforementioned teacher himself - climbed in through the window. His normally immaculate suit was a bit ruffled with creases and debris, and a few strains stuck out of his usually slicked hair. Once he'd managed to plant both feet onto the classroom floor, he shut the window and began to brush himself off.
"Apologies for the delay," he said a-matter-of-factly, his expression flat and neutral - as if he hadn't just made the entrance he did. "There was traffic."
"TRAFFIC???" Riki loudly repeated in high pitched disbelief, his eyes practically bulging out at the audacity of (what he assumed to be) such a mundane lie.
"Yes." Mr. Suzuki answered. He paused, then glanced aside to the class. "...It was quite backed up."

"Hey, uh... Jason, is it?"
Jason flinched when Riki said his name. " Shit shit shiiiit!" Jason would think to himself as his mind quickly went to the scenario that Riki recognized him.
"Are you... feeling okay? Do you need to step out for a moment?" "Or is it just one of those mornings...?"
"I'm FINE!!! Totally FINE! " Jason said a little forcefully then he had meant to, as his nerves got the better of him. " I-I also prefer to be called Jay if y-you don't mind.." Maaaaan this was so uncool! So much for a good first impression! He must seem like a total weirdo now... How he wished he could just find a place to hide fight now... But thankfully something bigger was about to happen to take all focus off him.
Silver and Natalie both looked at Jason as he stared at his desk, yeah it was clear he was not alright but nether of them had a clue what was troubling him.
Silver soon saw movement at the classroom window, that was not a normal entrance was someone trying to break in? Silver stood up and quickly made his way to the window ready to confront the intruder.
"M... Mr. Suzuki?!" Riki had cried out.
This made Silver stop, oh so this was the teacher?
"Apologies for the delay," he said a-matter-of-factly, his expression flat and neutral - as if he hadn't just made the entrance he did. "There was traffic."
Had he really just said that? Looked like more then just traffic.
" Suuure, just traffic.." Natalie said trying not laugh or smile. It sure was a sight to see Mr. Suzuki in such a state, and telling such a lie with a straight face and coming in through the window was hilarious after the shock died down.
Other students also started giggle and talk among themselves.
" What the hell? " Jason said in shock slipping a swear word as he stared at Mr. Suzuki. Just what kind of school is this? What kind of teacher just crawls through a window into a classroom?? His classmates seemed to find it funny though but Jason's nerves where to shot to laugh at the moment.

"Suuure, just traffic.." A red haired student repeated skeptically, much more amused.
The class followed suit with snickering and giggles, but Mr. Suzuki merely blinked. One would think he seemed unamused with the students' reaction, but no real anger or embarrassment showed on his face. He seemed just as composed as he would on a normal school day.
"Ah... Haha... Uh," Riki also found himself blinking, stunlocked by the absurdity of what had just happened. He didn't believe Suzuki either, but what was he supposed to do? He certainly couldn't just question him here and now, and the class was already disrupted enough as it was. "Uh... W-Well!" He shook his head, then gave an exaggerated shrug. "I... guess my work here is done?" He raised his pitch again, unsure of the statement himself. He looked aside to Silver, noting he had gotten up when Mr. Suzuki appeared - had he planned on taking action, too?
"Hey, ah... Thanks for the concern... Silver?" Riki paused, uncertain. "Correct me if I'm wrong on that. You can, uh... go take a seat." He scratched at his head, then looked back to Mr. Suzuki. He frowned, then leaned forward, speaking in a lower volume. "Uh... Are you sure you're going to be okay?" He asked, eying the other man's not-quite-so-pristine condition. Mr. Suzuki gave a brief nod in response.
"I may have shown up late, but I believe I can still fit in today's lesson before the period is over..." He assured his colleague, reaching into the messenger bag still hanging from his shoulder.
"Th... That's not what I meant, man..." Riki murmured as his shoulders sank.
"Mr. Suzuki!" A woman's voice called from the hallway, garnering the attention of both men. A pink haired teacher clutched at the door frame with one hand, using the other to quickly gesture the older man over. With no wasted movement, Mr. Suzuki briskly walked towards her, expecting that there was a dire problem she needed help with.
He wasn't exactly expecting a scolding when they stepped into the hallway.
"One of my students saw you climbing up the side of the school!" She huffed, pouting. Her anger was born of worry more than anything. "Th-that's dangerous! Why would you do that?!"
"...I was running late." He paused. "And it was the quickest way in."
"Reiji!" She clutched his shoulders, squeezing more creases into his already wrinkled suit. "We're on the third floor!"
As Riki was packing up his papers, it was only then he realized that the other two had neglected to shut the door to the hallway.
"Oh. Shoot," He craned his neck, peering out of the classroom window. "...I guess we are, huh."

Silver just stood there watching, with a stoic expression, nor did he laugh when Natalie said somthing that made everyone else laugh. He was just glad it had turned out to be a teacher and not a intruder. Though like everyone else he did not believe Mr. Suzuki's story that it had just been traffic. His clothes and hair where to ruffled for that. But if he did not want to tell the truth the teacher must have his reasons. Silver glanced at the window noting how high they where. To him it was illogical to climb up to to the third floor from the outside, it would be no easy feat for a normal human. Their was somthing strange about Mr. Suzuki.. Ether he had powers or was none human... Silver would choose to keep these thoughts to himself however. He was new here it would be unwise to get unwanted attention.
"Hey, ah... Thanks for the concern... Silver?"Riki said in a uncertain tone. "Correct me if I'm wrong on that. You can, uh... go take a seat."
Silver looked at Riki giving a small nod, "You are correct, my name is Silver." He he spoke in a monotone voice similar to Mr. Suzuki's. "Understood." Was Silver's final reply when told to return to his seat. He walked back to his desk sitting back down again and had his eyes set at the front of the class. Seemingly unbothered by the recent events.
Another wave of giggles and snickers would start when Ms.Clover's voice was heard and when she stood in the door way calling Mr. Suzuki over to her to speak in the hallway. As she scolded him pointing out what floor they where on the students laughter grew. The only two who where not laughing where Silver and Jason.
All of a sudden the School PA system turned on,
"Mr. Suzuki please come to the principal's office."
Now the class roared with laughter at the fact Mr. Suzuki had been called to the principal's office.
"Oof, Mr. Suzuki is not having a good day..." Jason would say. As much as he felt sorry for the guy he was glad this took all attention away from his awkward moment. Though him getting called to the office meant Riki was gonna stay longer... Dammit it.. Just his luck..
"It would to appear so." Silver agreed.
"He's normally well put together. Never seen him late before and his hair and clothes in a mess like that.. I just hope he is ok." Natalie said, as funny as she found this she was trying not to laugh but it was hard fighting back a amused smile.
Mean while some students where whispering with each other while stealing glances at Silver. " Psst hey, you noticed how much alike Silver and Mr. Suzuki look?" " Yeah, looks like he could be Mr. Suzuki's kid. They even talk the same. "Wouldn't be surprised if he was embarrassed or somthing that his kid is now in the school.." 'Heh what if he wanted to show off by climbing in through the window?"
The students giggled as they shared their thoughts about it among themselves.

The woman, Ms. Clover, widened her eyes at the PA announcement. She ignored the laughter that followed suit from the classroom, though this time she reached her hand out and made sure to close the door.
"Ooough...!" She pouted. "Now you've done it...!" She balled up her fists and began lightly beating at Mr. Suzuki's chest. They may have been peers, but sometimes Ms. Clover behaved like she was still attending high school herself. It was a stark, if not amusing contrast to Mr. Suzuki, and even more so that the two were good friends.
"Ah..." Mr. Suzuki's lips curled into a frown. "I suppose I was so set on returning to the school on time that I failed to account for the poor example I would set..." He mused. He glanced downward and began to brush off his suit again in preparation for his trip to the office.
"No kidding!" Ms. Clover stopped her fake beating. She pouted again, took a deep breath, then sighed. "I... I don't know what happened to you, but..." She paused, looking him up and down. "D-Don't do anything so reckless like that again! Okay?" She then reached out and began to help straighten out his clothes. "It's more important to be safe than to be on time!"
Mr. Suzuki gazed at her for a moment. He disagreed, but that was because he was... different. Had he fallen, it wouldn't have hurt him, but if he were to continue passing for human, well... perhaps he had taken too big of a risk back there.
"...You're right," He answered. "I apologize for worrying you." Ms. Clover sighed again, this time giving a tired smile.
"Save it for the office, Reiji," She patted him on the shoulder sympathetically, though her mood had been lifted somewhat. "I'll forgive you later!"
Meanwhile, Riki had been standing by the door, half peeking out through its small window. Mr. Suzuki was called to the office, sure, but he at least wanted to see what the he and Ms. Clover were planning to do. He himself had already packed up, and the students were already rowdy from the... odd turn of events. And when he saw that Mr. Suzuki turned to leave, well... That told him everything he needed to know.
He glanced upwards at the clock. It had already been 15 minutes and they hadn't started class at all.
"...Welp." He shrugged, then addressed the class. "All right, all right! You guys get off lucky this time...!"

"...Welp." Riki said with shrug "All right, all right! You guys get off lucky this time...!"
There where a few woohoo's, some more laughter and mostly students ether talking or reading books. It seemed math class turned into a free study class.
Jason sighed as he started to stare down at his desk not wanting to look at Riki, and wished over and over again he would just leave. He knew he would just have to used to seeing Riki most likely everyday.. But he needed time to recover from the shock.
Silver looked around the room watching what the other students where doing though he had no real idea what do in this situation.
Natalie looked at Jason and Silver and smiled when a idea came to her. She unzipped her bag and pulled out her math book and notes. "Hey, Jason, Silver wanna do a study session? I'll be happy to share my notes to help you guys get caught up. I know what its like to be the new kid, I moved around a lot and sometimes had to move before the school year was up." She had only been here a few months herself so she could still be seen as a new kid.
Jason looked over at Natalie in shock but quickly smiled. "For real? Hel- I mean Heck ya that would be awesome!" Jason said happily as he then moved his desk closer to Natalie.
Silver looked over and gave a small nod, a study session would indeed be helpful. "I would like that, thank you." Silver said in a monotone voice as he also moved his desk closer. The three of them started to study math as Natalie shared her math notes with Jason and Silver.
