The full moon was high in the sky, its soft illuminating light. Crystal lake seemed to have a faint glow as the surface of the water reflected the moon. Soon however the surface of the water was broken as a Aurora rised out of the lake. Her watery transparent wings seemed to sparkle in the moon light. Opening her eyes she looked around and smiled when she saw the view. The forest was so pretty at night, some of the plants gave off a faint light and some flowers glowed. Its almost as if the forest woke up in the moon light. Aurora then flew over to the water's edge landing on the ground. Her pale blue eyes landed on some glowing flowers that where blooming. She walked up to them with a smile as she knelt down and gently touched the flower. She then stood back up a she opened her wings again and took flight. She would started to fly above the trees taking in the view of the forest. This was the only time Aurora would leave her lake, she was less likely to run into anyone at night. She has had a few close calls though so she did her best to stay away from the areas of the forest that where inhabited by other beings of the forest. Though part of her wanted to talk to them..
But she was unsure how, she had never been good with others. Also the worry of somehow getting trapped in conflict also made her keep to herself. It was just easier to be alone. But that did not mean she was not lonely. There had been a few times she almost showed herself to others, only to lose her nerve and dive back deep into the lake. Aurora then flew back to the lake landing on the water's edge sitting down in the shallow water's edge and started to sing a soft and pretty melody. Some nocturnal animals would poke their heads out of the shrubs and would come closer, they would sit and listen as Aurora sang her song.
