Amara had over overslept, well more like she was just laying in bed staring up at the celling. Her parents where trying to find suiters for her lately.. So they where buying dresses for her to wear and expensive jewelry and tons of makeup and other Beauty Supplies. SHE HATED IT, none of that stuff was her and who said she wanted a boyfriend right now anyway?? Her parents just wanted to marry her off to much rich family without really caring how she felt about it all. Thanks to this she had not been able to hang out with her friends the last week. Amara then sat up with a frown, she has had enough... Enough of the etiquette lessons, the dresses, the makeup and fancy hair styles. Annd enough meeting guys she had no interest in ether.. It was time to rebel!! She then tossed off her blankets and went right to her closet. When she opened it it was filled with dresses and other fancy outfits. Amara's face darkened, "Soo.. When I was out yesterday they replaced all my clothes.. Good thing I have a backup..." However just to be spiteful Amara grabbed the dresses and threw them all on the floor as well as the shoes. She then walked away and glanced down at her nightstand and glared at the eye contact case. They had been trying to get her to wear eye contacts to look more like a proper lady. She grabbed the cased and fling it across the room. She then opened up a secret door and smiled, There she had stashed some outfits she likes and her glasses. She then put them on and smiled into a mirror. "There's the real Amara~ So nice to see you and not that Barbie doll my parents where playing dress up with." she said as she touched the mirror. Yep this was real her, A messy ponytail, glasses, and long sleeved blouse, small coat and skirt with black leggings and normal comfortable shoes.
With a defiant smile Amara then left her room and made her way to the dinning room. Her parents where no where to be seen but her older brother was there in his perfect attire, perfect hair... Just about perfect everything. Amara sat down at the table and threw so called fancy etiquette out the window as she started to eat normally. Her brother Elon glanced at her giving a small sigh.
" Amara, what happened to the dresses Mother and Father got for you? And where are your new contacts?" He asked.
Amara smirked, "Tossed them around my room, I like my glasses better and these clothes are way more comfortable.
Elon gave a irritated look, " Really Amara? Do you know how much those dresses and contacts cost? When are you going to be more lady like?" He asked with a edge to his tone,
Amara rolled her eyes, " When are you guys gonna stop trying to force me to be someone I'm not!?" she shot right back.
"AMARA"Elon started but was cut off by Amara.
Amara had stood up and slammed her hands on the table and shot a dark glare her at her older brother. " Its always the same! No matter how great my grades where.. No matter how well I did in things I liked.. It was never good enough for you.. For Mom and Dad.. Its always.. Amara, why can't you be lady like, Amara why can't you be more like Elon? Why must you tinker with things?" When they where younger she and Elon where great friends and got along.. But after he was named to be the successor of the company he changed and they drifted apart.. Ever since then Amara had always felt alone when home.
"I'm not hungry.. I'm leaving." Amara said as she turned and walked away.
" Amara! You have lessons s-" Elon started to say but was cut off yet again.
"Screw the lessons I don't give a damn! I don't wanna be a lady and I sure as hell don't want a boyfriend ether!" Amara said rather loudly as she reached the front door. She then walked through after opening it and slammed it hard behind her.
" Screw em! I don't give a flying heck!" Amara said angerly as she took out a foldable metal sheet and threw it to the ground. She then charged up pointing a finger at it and zapped it. It unfolded and started to hover, Amara then stood on it and took off into the sky. She had no real idea where she wanted to go she just wanted to get away from here!
" Amara! Get back here!"
Amara ignored her brother and zoomed away.
She soon found herself over the docks and landed on a Pier. Amara looked out at the sea as her anger boiled with in. She then started screaming out her frustrations.
She then collapsed to her knees tears ran down her cheeks. It was always like this... Her family never seemed to understand her or care what she wanted. She had worked so hard to get her parents to love and respect.. She had always done her school work, got the best grades and even graduated high school at a young age. But it never seemed to matter to them... She was always ignored and her older bother was the perfect golden child.
Amara soon heard the chit chat of the dock workers. She picked up her disk, folding it back up she started to leave. She was not going to go home anytime soon.. So she decided to drop by a internet café. Once there she logged on to a online game she liked to play. She soon was slaying monsters and bosses, it felt good to take her frustrations out on them. As she was slaughtering monsters, one of her gaming buddies logged on. Amara smiled when she saw Ghost, then invited her to join her party. Ghost was one of the best healers in the game, many people wanted to party with Ghost but she had certain people she would join and Amara counted herself lucky she was one of them.
She was quick to send Ghost a invite.
Ghost then was quick to accepted and teleported to Amara's avatar.
"Hey Ghost! Wanna hit some bosses? I'm in a mood to trash things!" Amara typed in.
"Sure, sounds fun" Ghost replied.
The two when would spend the next few hours they fought hordes of monsters and bosses. All the while they spoke and Amara once again vented about her family.
Ghost had been helping Amara with advice or just being someone Amara could vent to for a long while now. Ghost saw Amara as a close friend and hated to see her this upset.. Perhaps... Perhaps it was time to tell Amara what she really was? She could do so much more if Amara knew her true nature...
When they finished beating a boss Ghost then made her way into Amara's smartphone.
In a much better mood then before Amara logged off her game and left the internet café. She would start to wonder around aimlessly, she would think about her friends and wondered what they where doing right now.
Mean while Ghost was wondering the best way to speak to Amara, there where many ways Amara could react.... All she could hope for is that she took this well. Ghost then turned on the speaker on Amara's phone.
"Amara, can you hear me?" Ghost asked, she had not spoken like this to a human in years... The last person who heard her voice was her creator.
Amara jumped, and she then whirled around but saw no one was speaking to her. "Wha??? Who said that?" Amara asked as she kept looking around.
"Look at your phone Amara." said the voice.
Blinking Amara took her phone out of her pocket and gasped when she saw the name Ghost on the call.
"G-ghost?? What how??" Amara asked in astonishment.
" I know this must be confusing, but I really wanted to speak with you. But perhaps you should find a more private place we can talk." Ghost said, the AI was very nervous but she felt like this was the right thing to do.
Amara was a bit baffled but nodded, "Umm.. I.... Ok.." She said as she then took off in a run.
