Its been a whole week since that last time Taylor had been docks and starting his training with Casey and meeting Chiyoko. Now he was gonna head back, he just hoped it would not be super awkward after what happened last time.. He did not really leave on a happy note after all. Well once again Taylor woke up early and packed a lunch, snacks and water into his back pack and left the house. Taking to the air he flew towards the docks, it did not take long and he landed in the same spot as last time. He then walked over to a warehouse wall sitting down and leaned back on it as he waited for Casey to show up. As he waited Taylor looked out at the sea and took a deep breath taking in the salty sea air and exhaled. He did not really wanna think about what happened last time, and thanks to the random encounter Taylor had with Chiyoko they where able to apologize to each other, even though she had done that in front of his little sisters. Thankfully Anna left him alone. Taylor then started to look around him trying to see if he could spot Casey.

Casey lifted his arms upward, stretching with a soft groan as he walked to their meeting spot. For the last week, he'd been subjected to some of his friends' teasing after some rumors of him bringing home a lady friend came to light. Thankfully, enough yelling and threatening and fighting was enough to quell that, and it'd since died down in the last two days or so. It'd be another piece of ammo tucked away for the OHaras to use against him, but hell, he didn't care. They'd always find ways to get a rise out of him.... That's just how they bonded. Casey was used to it.
Still, he wondered if maybe that's why he was looking forward to this. He cherished his friends, really he did, but even he needed a break from them every now and then. With Taylor, he at least knew that the young teen wouldn't try attacking him as a joke. Okay, sure, maybe he did last week, but the circumstances were... different. One was him trying to practice a new move, and the other was just breaking up a fight between him and Chiyoko.
...Maybe he was putting the last one a bit lightly, but hey, let bygones be bygones.
"Ah, hey." Casey greeted, mildly surprised that Taylor was already waiting. "Yer here early. Or maybe I'm a bit late...?" He shrugged, dropping a small drawstring knapsack on the ground. "Eh, whatever. Watchu wanna work on today?" He asked, casually stretching his limbs. Whatever Taylor might've been worried about from last week, Casey seemed completely unbothered by it.

Taylor took notice of Casey and stood up, giving a small smile. "Hey." Taylor said in greeting as Casey walked closer. He braced himself for any questions about last week but was surprised when Casey just asked what he wanted to work on instead. But.. Even so what happened last week was still nagging him. Even though he had gotten a chance to even speak to Chiyoko a bit. Taylor bit his lip as he thought about it.. Casey really did seem unbothered by the whole thing.. But, for Taylor himself he needed to talk about it before he could move forward. "Calhoun.. wait... I..." Taylor paused as he took a deep breath and exhaled. " I'm sorry that I... Sent you and Chiyoko flying into the water.. Taylor apologize. He had already apologized last time but he wanted to say it again.
"It... It also shook me up pretty badly to.. It... It reminded me back when I first used my powers. The way Chiyoko looked at me... That.. That is why I was upset.. I scared her like I scared my former friends... I guess... I have never really gotten over that incident.." Taylor confessed as he rubbed the back of his head as he looked at Casey.

"Calhoun.. wait... I..." Taylor paused as he took a deep breath and exhaled. "I'm sorry that I... Sent you and Chiyoko flying into the water..."
Casey raised a brow and tilted his head ever so slightly. He was more than willing to forget the incident, but he really shouldn't have been surprised that Taylor would still apologize for it.
"Look, s'all good now. Ya didn’t have any malice behind what ya did." He said nonchalantly, though he began to rub at the back of his neck, his brows sagging sheepishly. "Things uh, admittedly got heated between me n’ Chiyoke... but I think we both needed that. There was... a lot to unpack there." He admitted, closing an eye and murmuring his next thought. "She had a lot more guts compared to when I last saw her..."
Taylor then went on to further express himself, and Casey couldn't help but feel a little dumb. "...Oh. That friend of yers, huh. " He paused. "...Yeah. Sorry 'bout that." His apology was quiet. Why didn't he make that connection in the first place? He felt like that was something he should've picked up on.... Then again, it was already pretty hectic reconnecting and making up with Chiyoko, so... maybe he could forgive himself a bit. "Uh.... if it helps any, it was the first time she found out about my powers, too. That probably didn't help," He shrugged. "...She was, uh... also pretty scared of a lotta things when I first met her, so..." He paused. "...I'd say don't take it personally, but I get why ya do." He shrugged again.

As always his worries where unfounded as Casey forgave him for wind blasting him into the sea. Casey went on to say that he and Chiyoko had a lot to unpack between them and things ended up getting a little heated. That made Taylor feel a lot better as he then gave a small smile. However now it seemed to click for Casey that Taylor was also referring to his past and his former friend.
"...Oh. That friend of yers, huh. ""
"..Yeah. Sorry 'bout that ""
"Uh.... if it helps any, it was the first time she found out about my powers, too. That probably didn't help,"

Taylor rubbed the back of his neck again but was able to relax. He said what he needed to and Casey forgave him and now he also understood a bit better why Casey and Chiyoko came to blows that day as well.
"Thank you for hearing me out, I feel a lot better." Taylor said with a smile.
"Sooo uh shall we pick up where we left off?" Taylor asked in hopes so that they would not stand there in a awkward silence.
