It had been a few days since Taylor trained with Casey, and the mess of everything that happened that day. But thanks to Kit showing up in the forest like he did had helped a lot. Now his furry friend wanted to meet Casey.. But Taylor told him he would have to ask Casey first. Things where already awkward he did not need to make it even more so. School was out for the day and Taylor flew home. It was the only way to make sure he did not get jumped. Once home Taylor entered. "I'm home." Taylor said but no one replied. The young teen raised a eyebrow and walked into the dinning room and saw a note and his Dad's credit card on the table. The note read. " Hey Taylor, sorry but we wont be home till late.
Both our bosses needed us to stay longer at work today.
My card is on the table so Take Anna and Ellie out for dinner and perhaps play at the arcade.

Dad.
Taylor sighed as he then picked up the credit card and placed it in his pocket. He then would wait for his little sisters to come home. Anna came in holding Ellies's hand, "We're home~" Anna happily announced with Ellie in tow. "Home home~" Little Ellie copied. Taylor smiled, "Hey guys. Mom and Dad are working late tonight Where do ya wanna go eat?"Anna's eyes lit up, "Pizza Palace!" she replied. "Yaaay Pizza!" Ellie said. Taylor laughed and nodded, " Alright lets go." He said and the thee siblings left the house and Taylor used his house key to lock the door behind them. The three happily chatted as they walked through the city and soon came to Pizza Palace. Taylor stepped up to the counter and was a little disappointed that Alexander was not there. " Aww he must be off today." Taylor said with a sigh as he then ordered the pizza. He then stepped off to the side as he waited and kept a eye on his younger sisters who where seated at a table near by and where happily talking and playing as they waited. |

April let out a deep sigh, recalling that one afternoon with Casey. Part of the reason she'd taken her office job at Aster City was because she'd heard Casey lived here. Ever since he'd ditched her and her manager, she'd been wanting to track him down and give him a piece of her mind! And she did! ...Except that ended with both of them falling into the ocean. Oops. At the very least, they were able to have a civil talk after the fact... After all, she couldn't stay mad when Casey helped her out of the water and gave her a place to dry off. Still... It was a little anticlimactic. April wasn't sure what she was expecting to happen. She'd assumed there'd at least be a fight, and there was, but only because she instigated it. She approached the whole thing all wrong, but... it was still resolved in the end. Casey explained himself, April understood, and there were no hard feelings between the two. Still, she couldn't help like something was still off... Maybe she was worrying about it too much. "Bwaaah," April let out a soft but vocal sigh. She scrolled through her phone, opening a dating game and absentmindedly taking a bite out of her slice of pizza. "You have anything nice to say, cute anime boy?" She asked the screen with a weary smile. The image answered back with a pre-recorded line. ...At full volume. Crap! April quickly scrambled to mute her phone, silently thankful the line was in Japanese. Seeing the translation on screen was... highly embarrassing. She slapped a hand over her eyes and slouched over, placing her phone face down on the table. She could she feel the heat rising to her face. All she wanted was a distraction from her thoughts, but... that was not the one she was expecting. |

Taylor kept standing where he was waiting for his order while keeping a eye on his little sisters. He smiled as he watched them, even though Anna has powers now she still was carefree. It was really thanks to Kai for accepting her powers, if only he would have had that when he first used his powers... Instead he was left alone.. Oh well at lest Anna had support and he was happy about it.
Taylor then heard his order called and he walked back up to the counter to pick it up.
Anna and Ellie happily played, laughing and giggling. That was until a sound from a game got her attention. "Hmmm?" Anna said as she turned her head to look, when she saw who it was she gasped as her eyes grew wide. "C-Chiyoko!" She said in shock and excitement. Her TV Hero right there..
Taylor froze when he heard Anna say that name. How did she know it? Why was she saying it? Taylor then slowly turned and followed where his little sister was looking and gave a small groan when he saw Chiyoko. Great just great.. Suddenly Anna got up and ran over to her happily.
"Y-your Chiyoko right? I'm a huge fan of yours!" Anna said happily as her eyes sparkled in delight.
Ellie sat where she was tilting her head in confusion. "Chiheko?" She said unable to really pronounce Chiyoko's name properly
Taylor slowly made his way back to the table, he then set it down getting a slice for Ellie and started to eat it happily. Taylor gave a small sigh as he sat down started to eat a slice of pizza, knowing it was only a matter of time Chiyoko would notice him.

April slowly removed the hand from her eyes. "Huh...?" She lowered her hand completely, sitting up straight again. A young girl had called out her name and scurried over to her table, eyes sparkling with admiration. April couldn't help but smile. "Yes, that's me." She laughed softly.
"I'm a huge fan of yours!" The girl cooed in excitement.
"I'm glad to hear it!" She giggled. Her mood immediately brightened back up. Originally, she wasn't too sure about starting her new career as a hero, but meeting someone who looked up to her as Chiyoko was always a nice surprise. It was especially true if it was another girl - knowing she could inspire others always made her feel warm and fuzzy inside.
"You, um... enjoying the pizza here?" She tilted her head slightly, trying to make small talk.

Anna could not help but squeal in excitement doing a little happy dance before looking at Chiyoko with a big smile.
"You, um... enjoying the pizza here?"
Anna nodded, "Yeah!! I'm here with my older brother and little sister. Our parents had to work late tonight so we came out to eat." Anna said with a smile. Then a idea came to her. Anna then reached into her bag taking out a piece of paper placing it on the table. "Hehe watch this~ I have been practicing." Anna said happily as she held out her hand to the paper and started to concentrate. Soon the paper started to fold itself and soon was a origami bird. "Yes! It turned out good~ I would like you to have it. Thanks for talking with me." Anna said happily as she then happily skipped back over to Taylor and Ellie.
"Taylor, Taylor you see that? I got to meet Chiyoko!" Anna said happily as she sat down and took a slice of pizza.
Taylor gave a smile as he looked at Anna.
"I saw, lucky you." he said as he glanced over at Chiyoko giving a weak smile and a small wave.

April blinked, raising her brows curiously as she observed the girl. Her eyes widened ever so slightly once the paper began to move. So she had powers, then...? Was it telepathy? That was her first thought, at least.
"Yes! It turned out good~" The girl sang. "I would like you to have it. Thanks for talking with me."
"Aww... Thank you." April smiled, picking up the small paper bird. How cute! She gave the girl a small wave before she left. April couldn't help but follow where she skipped off to, the warm feelings still bubbling inside her as she overheard the girl's excitement.
"Taylor, Taylor you see that? I got to meet Chiyoko!"
Funny... That was the same name as the young man that Casey was training the other day. April just thought it was a coincidence, but sure enough: it was, in fact, the same young man. Again, her brows raised in mild surprise once she saw him sitting there. When he waved at her meekly, she nodded in acknowledgement, waving back with a small smile. Of course, there was no fear this time; they were both just here for a nice outing and pizza. At least Taylor looked like he'd been doing better, though...
...Maybe that's what was bothering her. Maybe it wasn't Casey she was fretting about, but Taylor. After all, she'd appeared out of nowhere that day and made a fool out of herself, attacking someone that Taylor clearly trusted. Leaving things like that just felt... wrong.
April contemplated her pizza before picking it up with her belongings. She made her way over to the siblings' table. "Hey, um..." She approached, looking to Anna. "Thank you again for the cute crane! I'm sorry I didn't get your name... but..." She tilted her head slightly. "Would you mind if I at least sat with you? It's a bit lonely at my table, ahaha..."

Well at least Anna was happy, Taylor would think to himself as he took another bite from his pizza then a sip from his drink. However what he was not expecting was Chiyoko coming over to their table. Taylor just played it cool though because it would not be good to freak out in front of his little sisters.
"Would you mind if I at least sat with you? It's a bit lonely at my table, ahaha..."
Anna gasped in surprise but was quick to nod, "Y-yes!! My name is Anna~ Taylor may she sit with us pleeease??? Anna said as she now gave the puppy eyed look. Taylor looked at Anna and nodded with a smile. "Sure, I don't see why not." He said but internally he was thinking. " Gahhhh great..." He was not ready for a encounter with Chiyoko so soon.. But this was happening rather he was ready for it or not.
Ellie mean while looked at Chiyoko with a smile. "Hai pretty lady, I'm Ellie" She said.

"Sure, I don't see why not."
"Thank you!" April smiled in relief, taking a seat.
"Hai pretty lady, I'm Ellie"
"Hi to you too, Ellie." She couldn't help but beam. Goodness, was this girl cute. "And, uh... nice to see you again, Taylor." She added sheepishly, rubbing at the back of her neck. "Does everyone in your family have powers, or...?" She let the question hang in the air, taking another bite of her pizza slice. If so, it must've been nice... Sure, Chiyoko had the support of both her manager and her agency's CEO, but sometimes April wished she had some peers in the same boat to confide in.

Taylor stiffened a bit when Chiyoko said that, he shot her a quick look but the damage had been already done.
Anna looked at Taylor.
"Wha! You met her before!?" Anna demanded.
Taylor sighed,
" Yeah.. Just briefly though, she showed up when I was with a friend and she mostly wanted to talk to him so I left." Taylor replied. It was not a lie but he did not go into detail ether and just hoped Chiyoko would go along with it.
"To answer your question, Anna and I are the only one with powers, Ellie and our parents are normal." Taylor said as he took a bite from his pizza and drank from his drink.

The edges of April's brows dipped in uncertainty when she caught a glimpse of Taylor's look. Oops. Was he trying to be secretive about it...? Come to think of it, there wasn't really anyone else around the area when she showed up... and even then, she'd only come upon the place because she'd heard that Casey hung around there. Otherwise, it seemed pretty deserted...
"To answer your question, Anna and I are the only one with powers, Ellie and our parents are normal."
"Ah... I see," She nodded. "I have to use a transformation to be able to even fight on even ground with powers, so I was just wondering." She looked aside in thought. "...Still doesn't mean I can't skip out on training, though," She mused, then looked to Anna with a smile. "Keep practicing, okay?" She winked.
"Oh, and uhm... I'd also like to apologize for the other day." She faced Taylor for a moment before turning her gaze downward. "It's just, uh... I'd been looking for him for such a long time, I got... um..." She looked back up at him timidly. "I got a little overzealous." She knew it was an understatement, but if Taylor was going to be vague about it, then so would she. "It was, erm.... terribly rude of me to interrupt you two like that."

Well this was happening, Taylor was not expecting Chiyoko to apologize right here, right now. Well he had been wanting to apologize to her to.. He feels really bad scaring her the way he did. As he thought about how to say what he wanted to say Anna blinked as she looked at both Chiyoko and Taylor. Her eyes then landed on Chiyoko and her eyes lit up, the way she spoke she thought she had been looking for a long lost lover. "Oooh! Is this guy your long lost boyfriend or something??" She asked with excitement as her eyes sparkled.
Taylor who had been taking a drink to catch his thoughts suddenly started chocking on his drink and sputtered and coughed. "A-Anna! That's (cough) Not something (cough cough) you ask!" Taylor managed to say though his coughing.

"Yes-" April's eyes widened. "I-I mean, no!" She scrambled to correct herself. "I mean, yes, he is a boy, and he is a friend, b-but..." The blush quickly spread across her face as she momentarily recalled Casey's... hypothermia prevention tactic. "H-he's just a friend!" She asserted a bit louder than she meant to. Embarrassed, she covered her face. She took a moment to clear her throat and take in a deep breath, collecting herself.
"...We're just friends," She repeated more calmly. "That's all..." She said timidly, though it almost sounded disappointed. "He, um... He trained me to improve my fighting style and he looked out for me and... stuff." The girl frowned. "And then he just up and disappeared one day... I thought he'd been kidnapped or something." She laughed weakly. "But... he's fine. We caught up and everything's okay now." She sighed, rubbing at her head again. "Again, I'm... really sorry about that, Taylor."

Taylor now was giving his sister the look even shaking his head a little at her.
Anna bit her lip in embarrassment and started to blush herself as she rubbed the back of her head as Chiyoko denied the guy being her boyfriend. "ooooh ok... Umm sorry, That was rude to ask." Anna replied looking very sheepish.
Taylor sighed giving another shake of his head and looked back at Chiyoko when she once again apologize. Why did she have to do this in front of Anna? Gahh all he could do was hope she did not bother him about it later. Giving a small smile Taylor made eye contact with Chiyoko, "Its ok. A-and I'm sorry too." Taylor replied.
Anna tilted her head a bit in confusion, why did Taylor apologize? But she kept her mouth shut she was to embarrassed to say anything right now.
