It's been several weeks since Sahara had arrived in the city and she had bought her own house that looks like a normal house but she had used a lot of her money to pay people to help make a base under the house where she can keep her equipment and work on making different kinds of suits for a variety of different kinds of missions and that took months to do but once that was done she sprayed the workers with a gas that put them to sleep and put them in a scanner that wiped the part of their memory of ever helping with the construction of her base.
Since then she's used her skills to hack the city systems to use the cameras to watch for any thugs she knows of how the city is crawling with trouble makers so what best to introduce herself by capturing a handful of them and it didn't take long..a camera caught a few thugs go into a shop threaten people with guns and of course one guy had to try and stop them only to end up being shot which made her put this group on her target list so when she opens the small panel on the arm of her armor she pushes buttons and links her suit to the cameras so she can see them head back to their so called 'hideout' as she took the secret exit out of her hideout and activated her cloak so she could shoot a grappling hook on a foot top thus pulling her to it and that is when she starts jumping roof to roof to get there faster and when she does she swings next to one of the windows pulls a laser out of one of the hidden slots in her armor.
She then uses it to cut the window open and kicks in the cut glass very carefully as to not make any noise "now for the fun part" she thought to herself as she stays in the shadows as she carefully goes down the stares and hears the thugs laughing "HAHAHA! THIS IS QUITE THE HAWL!!" one of them yelled with excitement but it was short lived when they heard something hit the floor near their feet "WHAT THE-?!" before that guy could say anything the room becomes filled with a black smoke and they'd hear a voice in the shadows "I'm going to make you wish you didn't do that" that voice sounded so cold and emotionless which brought a chill to the thugs spines "WHO THE-!" again the poor guy gets interrupted but this time by a swift kick that seemed to come out of no where since they can't see anything through this black smoke and all they could do was make grunting sounds as they get punched from what felt like all sides.
Soon though they'd scream as she even broke their legs to keep them from running and tied them up with a thin but sharp metal wire "try not struggle, it will only get tighter if you do" again Sahara sounded emotionless but didn't sound so cold this time and when she pulls a hook out of the side of her suit she hooks the thugs and drags them out of the building and uses the grappling hook to pull herself back up to the roof and starts roof jumping all the way to the police station, not caring if this hurts the thugs in process but once she uses the grappling hook to pull herself to the roof of the police station she takes a card out of another hidden slot and sticks it on one of the guy's forehead as he is the only one screaming "UUGHH COME OONN LET US GOO!!" because the others are knocked out from all the rough jumping and she slowly lowers them down in front of the police station and pushes a button to snap the cord from her suit then hides on the roof to wait for someone to come out to get them after pushing some buttons on her small panel to give the police a tip that says "Our Shadow Dragon assassin has captured and gift wrapped some thugs who robbed a store and shot a man, they are in front of the station waiting for you" She then glances down to wait and see which one of the officers comes out to see thugs she delivered for them and makes sure to keep herself cloaked in case they look up

Millie frowned. "...Hey, Finn?" She turned to her fellow officer, hanging up her phone. "Mmh?" The young man turned to her, chewing quickly. She'd caught him as he was finishing up his sandwich and had stuffed the last bit of it into his mouth. "Sowweh," he apologized with a muffle. "Oh, no, I'm sorry for interrupting." She tilted her head. "But... I just got a tip?" She furrowed her brow, glancing back down at what she'd written on her notepad. "Something about Shadow Dragons and there being suspects at the door?"Finn swallowed. "Wh-wh-wh-what?" His hand shot to the holster on his side. "They're here? O-Outside?!""Apparently," she confirmed, getting out of her seat. "I'm going to go check.""W-Wait! You can't just..." Finn helplessly reached a hand out to her as she passed his desk. "Wh... What if it's a trap?! You, uh... need back up!""Then come with me, officer!" Millie grabbed his hand, tugging him out of his seat. "I'm not allowed to have a loaded gun, but you are!" The young woman pouted, dragging Finn across the office. "Wait! No! Ack!" Finn protested. He glanced around and called for the first officer he saw. "T-Torres! Sir! Help! Please! Come with!" He pleaded his point. The senior officer Torres raised a brow then shrugged, following after them. Millie and Finn weren't quite prepared for what awaited them at the door. "AUGH!!!"Finn damn near fainted right on the spot. He was a queasy sort that didn't react well to seeing blood and injuries, and... well, seeing people's legs bend like that was almost bad enough for him to toss up the sandwich he'd just eaten. Millie herself had little time to react to the suspects as she was forced to hold up her comrade from falling over. Torres seemed to be unfazed, his furrowed brow being the only thing that betrayed his quiet exterior. He let out a deep sigh. "Summers," he spoke to Millie. "Report this to the Chief." He stepped out from the building and began to snap pictures of the confined suspects before checking up on their health. He swore under his breath. "White, go get medical help for them."Finn was still pale and dazed, but he'd managed to register what his senior had said. "...Y-Yes, sir," he answered meekly, turning away from the suspects as soon as he could, scurrying into the building. "Urk..." Millie shuddered, getting a better look at the suspects herself. "Sir... If it helps any... I just got off the phone with some tip about this." She winced. "Something about a Shadow Dragon agent or the like...?""Typical." His response was flat. Of course he had no idea about whatever it was Officer Summers was talking about, but in the end, it was all the same to him: vigilantism. Most of the officers had experienced it for themselves in one way or another, and it always involved those weird superhumans thinking they could take charge. It didn't matter if their intentions were good: no matter what they did, they acted outside of the law. Doing so only served to make the officers' dwindling work even more difficult, so it was no secret that most of them weren't fans of these vigilantes. Even if the Aster City Police Department was all but powerless against some of the foes that threatened the city, it was important that they still adhered to their protocol. Torres would be damned if he broke that now. Millie bit her lip, looking to the captured men. "The tip... also mentioned a store robbery." She paused. "Apparently one of them might've committed felony assault or battery.""We don't know if any of them even are the suspects." Torres pointed out. "And if they are, that's for the court to decide. The others will figure out the details. Include the exact wording of that tip in your report, Summers." He glanced in her direction. "Then check with the others to see if we've gotten any reports about robberies within the past hour.""Yes, sir!" Millie clumsily saluted the senior officer before she returned inside the building. Torres himself remained outside. He looked back down at the thugs, letting out a sigh of frustration. One of them was still conscious, it seemed. Torres furrowed his brow, squinting at the card plastered to the man's head. He sighed again. Why did things have to be so damn difficult for the ACPD?

Sahara only silently nods as she stays on the roof as she's not entirely surprised by the reaction of the police and she was about to leave when the thug who's still awake screams "AAAAAGGHH!! THAT BITCH!! SHE'S STILL HERE!! SHE'S ON THE ROOF!! AAAHH! IT HURTS IT HURTS!! DAMN IT!!!" he screamed in agony but all she does is squint her eyes a moment, now she has no choice but to reveal herself but not wanting them to see her face so there would be clicking sounds as her helmet starts releases from her back and unfolds itself as it covers her entire head and face before deactivating her cloaking device.
"do you criminals always talk too much?
She'd then pull a hook from her belt and hooks it to the side of the roof before jumping off and making it slowly lower her down the ground in front of the officers and once down she shakes the wire to free the hook just enough to make it retract back into her belt and then she looks at who she thinks is the boss of this group though she seems to give a nod to the man she thinks is the boss or some kind of superior by the way he was barking orders and seemed unfazed by the bloody mess
"forgive the inconvenience, I didn't mean to disrupt the natural order...it was I who gave the tip" she said and she decides to pull a disk out of her belt and extends her hand to give it to the man "this contains of a recording of what they did and the location of their hideout. Everything they stole is there. I was going to have these mailed to you later but I suppose not everything goes to according to plan"
Once again the tone in her voice sounds very emotionless and the criminal screams "AAGGHH!! BITCH!! DAMN IT!! REMOVE THAT HELMET AND LET ME SEE YOUR FACE!! SO I CAN FIND YOU AND KILL YOU FOR THIS!!" She'd then slowly look at the criminal then back at the man "Permission to knock him out so he doesn't suffer any further, sir, he'd been tortured enough" once again she sounded completely emotionless but then quickly checks her surroundings in case if anymore officers came out since they seemed very unhappy that she tried to help the officers

Torres mildly winced at the howling man, then shifted to a more reassuring tone. "Sir, my name is Officer Torres. I'm here to help you." he calmly spoke, paying his protests no mind. "It doesn't matter what happened before this, medical support is on the way. I'll help you through this..." He continued, looking back down at the group's condition. He internally swore at whatever god he prayed to and let out another frustrated sigh. He then heeded the man's cries, and was about to glance upwards before another voice cut in.
"Do you criminals always talk too much?
Torres' hand habitually slid to the holster at his side as the woman lowered herself down. The officer stared at her skeptically as she admitted herself as the one who gave the tip. His gaze then dropped down to the disk she held in her hand as she explained it had all the evidence they needed. He cautiously removed his hand from his holster, using it to accept the disk.
"...Is that so." The officer's voice was as flat as hers, contrasting the warmer tone he'd just used seconds ago for the battered suspect. He couldn't say much else however once that man began hollering again. "Sir," he spoke neutrally this time. "As I've said, I'm here to help you," he tried to reason.
"Permission to knock him out so he doesn't suffer any further, sir, he'd been tortured enough"
"Absolutely not," Torres responded firmly, eying the woman with suspicion. He glanced over the suspects' condition again. "Are you..." He began, then frowned. "...State your name. Then tell me something: are you responsible for the condition of their legs?"

In response to his first question about the disk she had just gave him she gives a nod"yes, sir, feel free to look at it's contents yourself if you don't believe me" once again her tone remains flattened though she when she was told she couldn't knock out the criminal she only just nods as she takes note of his specious expression of her so to make him feel better she raises her hands over her head to show that she is no threat to him or the criminal who is in so much pain that he finally passes out.
"...State your name. Then tell me something: are you responsible for the condition of their legs?"
She'd then remains silent knowing for a fact she'd get herself in trouble if she told them that but she also knows that if she didn't tell him she'd most likely never get their trust so taking that to account she finally speaks up "unfortunately my name is classified but yes I am responsible for their broken legs, sir, however I broke their legs in away they can be restored with proper treatment for I only did it keep them from trying to run after dropping them off here. I understand I may have over done it and I sincerely apologize and I promise I will be sure to use a different method in the near future"
She said that so calmly and surprisingly enough even with her flattened tone she sounds very respectful to the officer questioning her as she fully intends to cooperate "I also must inform you that I'm not from around here as you can probably tell from the design of my suit. I'm still rather new to your rules and regulations and I don't wish to make your jobs more difficult than it already is. If you wish to arrest me, I'll understand and won't resist just please understand that I only did what I was trained to do" she said very calmly while keeping her hands up
"also give my apologies to the boy who almost fainted at the sight of blood, I do hope the sight of blood didn't scar the boy for life..I understand a lot of people wouldn't be able to handle seeing what I can do in mere seconds" She'd then remain quiet for a moment before speaking again "is there anymore questions you need to ask me sir?" she asked as politely as she could despite not being able to put any emotion in her flattened tone "or you could allow Ms. Summers, is it? to ask me some questions..if she has any that is. She's piqued my curiosity and I have some questions for her, if she's willing to answer"

Did this strange woman really just admit to a crime? Sure, that made Officer Torres' job easier, but at the same time... he was just tired of the absurdity of it all. Would he have to arrest her? He thought he might've had good reason to believe her; after all, she was the one claiming to have delivered these three, then shortly after asked if she could beat one further. That... was more than enough probable cause, right? She didn't even give her name. Her other comments were strange and raised red flags for him, like using her armor as an excuse for him not recognizing her. How was he supposed to know that? All of these vigilante weirdos wore wildly different things, so this one was no different to Torres. And the fact that she so casually talked about how she could do what people like him couldn't do in seconds... calling Officer White a child... All of this only continued to rub him the wrong way. The other officers always looked to him as a rational man who could keep his cool, but he himself wondered if that would change today. "Torres."The officer lifted his head at the voice, looking to the station entrance. "...Lieutenant?"An older looking man stood in the doorway, his expression tired, annoyed and anything but friendly. His tone was much less formal than Officer Torres. It was deadpan, apathetic and laced with contempt. "I heard Summers babbling on about broken legs to Reynolds." He stepped outside. "Thought I'd take a look for myself.""Oh." Torres paused. "How long have you been here, sir?""Long enough." He answered plainly, then looked down at the unconscious suspects. "...Jesus." His deadpan pitch barely raised a note in dull surprise. He then looked back at Torres. "...Get them inside." The man then eyed the woman. "...I'll take care of this."Officer Torres nodded, swiftly making his way back into the building. He returned outside moments later as several officers helped move the battered suspects into the station. The older man watched in relative silence for a bit before turning his attention back to the woman. "Name's Reagan." He stated bluntly. At least Torres sounded professional; this man just seemed... annoyed. "Summers is busy." He stared at the woman with quiet contempt. He didn't think much of Officer Summers, but he figured it was best to leave the clumsy pup out of this. "Anything you want to ask her, ask me."

Sahara only just looked at Torres as she seems to note that she may have said something to upset the man..something she honestly didn't mean to do but then again she's always had a hard time speaking to other people since her job as a assassin normally doesn't allow her to have contact with the outside world the fact she is now is alien to her the most but then another voice seemed to snap her out of her thoughts
"Torres."
Her glance followed Torres's direction to the station to see a older fellow who clearly didn't look all that friendly in fact his demeanor made all her instincts scream danger which is saying something since a assassin's expectations for danger is extremely high so to show respect to this new face she would give the man a slow nod as she listens to the two talk before finally addressing her
"Summers is busy."
"understood sir" The assassin answered with a flattened tone.
""Anything you want to ask her, ask me.""
The assassin would only give a understanding nod and she seems to take a big breath and holds it a moment before exhaling again before saying anything as she's clearly trying to be more careful with what she says as to not insult another person so as such she begins talking with her normal flattened tone.
Forgive me, I hope I didn't insult Officer Torres with my words..I must also admit this is my first time making contact with someone outside the walls of HQ" she'd then be silent for a moment as she starts thinking what question she wanted to ask first and the girl without a weapon came to mind first though that was the question she wanted to ask Summers but he'd have to do.
As I was watching your fine officers do their investigation of those criminals as is protocol though I couldn't help but notice that Officer Summers didn't have some kind of weapon on her hip. I understand the answer of my question may not be my business but I must ask out of curiosity if that's okay with you" She'd then go silent for a moment before speaking again"why is it that Summers doesn't have a weapon? I commend her bravery on coming out with no weapon but instead back up with her, I suppose I'm curious because without a weapon she doesn't have a means to defend herself, perhaps she knows hand to hand combat?" She'd then go silent again hoping she didn't accidentally insult this man.

"Forgive me, I hope I didn't insult Officer Torres with my words..I must also admit this is my first time making contact with someone outside the walls of HQ."
"Well, you're not making a very good first impression." Reagan said frankly. "But don't worry - people like you are an insult to us, anyway." As uninterested as he sounded, he made it very clear where he stood.
He raised a brow at the string of questions directed at his... "partner" and subordinate. He had no interest in sharing any information about any of the officers in his precinct, though he couldn't help but let out a scoff at the mere suggestion of Summers' competence in combat.
"This... is a police station. You know, where we work." He stated, seemingly unrelated to her question until he continued. "Why would we need to be armed... at the police station." His rhetorical question was more of a statement used to point out the obvious, and his tone was as condescending as his dull apathy would allow.

She didn't seem to react much when he said she's not making a good impression but nodded when told not to worry Understood, sir" was all she needed to say however when he said
"This... is a police station. You know, where we work."
The assassin would then give a nod "indeed, thus is why I brought the criminals here and gave the information required to Officer Torres." she then would glance at the station for a moment before he said
"Why would we need to be armed... at the police station."
Sahara paused at that as she took that as a question and if she didn't still have her helmet on right now he would of most likely saw her lift a brow right about now but as it is she just shifts and adjust her body and even lowers her arms to fold over her chest while looking at the man "I can think of one reason" she stated with her flattened tone then presses her thumb against the chin of her helmet "I'm going to use what I did as a example but not use me as the supposed attacker" She'd then clear her throat lightly before continuing "Say a punk had his men act like they were tied up in front of this station and gave a fake tip about suspects being tied up in front of the police station, naturally officers are going to go out and investigate as is protocol but one Officer in this case Officer Summers didn't have a weapon to protect herself but she brought backup, Officer White in this case which is a smart move but then the goons spring up very fast as leader comes out and points their guns at the Officers and since it's just one officer with a gun they shoot down the officer who isn't armed and then Officer White would have to find cover so he could try to hold them off until the rest of you come out to help him..now if Officer Summers were armed they both would had a better chance against the attackers and held them off long enough for the rest of the officers to come out to force the attackers to surrender" she said that with flattened tone but then shrugs lightly
"but I do suppose you have a reason as to why Summers didn't have a weapon and I will not pry for it's again not my business" she then would shift her weight to her left leg a little bit forgive me if I stepped out of line with what I said sir, I just don't wish anyone to experience a blood day as I have" well she may have let slip a fraction of her past but she doesn't seem to mind that or she does? it's hard to tell with that helmet on but not like that matters, her face is just a flattened as her tone of voice but it was how she said it that might show that she cares deeply for the lives of those who help fight against evil
"anyways, I apologize for rambling, please, I'm sure you have questions and I'm willing to answer" she then clears her throat lightly as she decides to say one last thing "you also say people like me are insult to you and by that I suppose you mean those other people with strange powers..well rest assured, I am no hero but I suppose people would say otherwise but doesn't that mean you officers are heroes as well? you all fight for a common goal even if you seem to bicker at each other quite a bit. You don't need to have super powers to qualify as a hero" she then would pause a moment as she looks up at the sky for a short bit "If you spot trouble and take action to help that person that automatically should mark you as a hero and isn't that what the enforcers of the law does everyday? protects people from danger the best they can? I cannot not feel emotion like you can so such sentimental things mean nothing to me but that seems to be different with those who do feel emotion." she said as he looks back at Officer "hmm, something to ponder about I think" She said but then shook her head lightly at herself "I apologize again..do you have any questions for me about the case I brought to you? or am I to be arrested for harming those men? or am I free to go?" she asked as she tilts her head to the side a little bit though she seems to glance behind him at the inside of the station a bit before looking back at him as she waits for his answer "it's unfortunate I wasn't able to earn my own alias before that tragic blood day, if I had I'd would of been able to give your officer that in place of my real name"

"Wow." Reagan stared, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "You just made a really bad impression somehow worse. Amazing." He tilted his head slightly. "For someone who seems to think they know so much about police procedure, you've definitely put yourself on the worst footing you could." He paused. "Ironic, considering you admitted to breaking those guys' legs." He let out another small snort. "Unfortunately for me, your admittance doesn't hold up in court unless I've read your rights before hand. So there's that." He shrugged slightly. Whatever small amusement he had quickly dissipated however when the woman decided to lecture him, the second in command and most tenured officer of the department.
"How about you don't stand here and tell me how to do my job." His brow furrowed. "How about you don't give me some bullshit hypothetical about the men whose bones you broke when you're the suspicious one here." He shifted slightly, shoving his hands into his pockets. The station door tentatively cracked open as he did so.
"Lieutenant? ...Sir?" A voice reported through the small opening.
"Stay inside, Summers," Reagan glanced at the barely open door from the corner of his eye before turning his attention back to the woman. "I'm being honest here when I say I don't like you hero-vigilante types, but don't you go grouping us with your lot. We don't do any of that shit because people like you get to it before we can." His eyelids lowered in further disdain. "I'm not a hero. I just have a 40 hour week job." He paused. "Sometimes I work overtime doing paperwork because people like you can't stop doing collateral damage. " He rolled his eyes. "If I was really a hero, I'd probably be dead by now because of some overzealous vigilante." He eyed the woman as he emphasized the last word.
"...So do me a favor and stop apologizing, because at this point I don't think you even know what that word means. Your apologies are as hollow as your tone." He stared judgmentally. "I don't care about what the hell sort of skills or history you have; you'll never know what it's like for a normal person to face even half of whatever shit you deal with." He let out a bitter snerk. "Hell. I have no doubt you can probably kill me where I stand, but you know what? So can just about anyone else in this goddamn city; powers, magic or not. I stopped giving a shit years ago: I just haven't died yet."
He paused.
"Unfortunate, because it means I have to stand here talking to you."

Sahara would just stand there taking all the insults and everything the guy had to say but she didn't seem to be phased one bit by his harsh words as she seemed to ignore him but really she wasn't, however she would notice the young girl poking her head out and was about to say something but only to hear this man tell her to stay inside then continue with his insults at the girl and she was about to say something but she stops herself from saying anything at all as she just took it all.
Seeming to understand that she may have said something wrong especially how he insulted how she talks she shakes her head "I don't know what I said to anger you but it seems I may have over stepped my bounds where I shouldn't have. I only wanted to turn in the criminals and thus I did. Should the courts wish to arrest me I will return to turn myself in. As it is I shall leave now if you have nothing else to say or ask" She said with her normal flattened tone and she'd then look behind him at Officer Summers and gives a nod at her before pulling a device out of the slot of her armor and when it unfolds it takes the shape of a grappling gun and when she points it at a near by roof she shoots it and a hook goes flying out of it and the moment it hooks to the side of the roof it pulls her up the near by building as she swings towards it's wall but she quickly extends her legs and walks up the building with the help of her grappling hook.
Once she's on the roof she unhooks her hook and lets it retract itself before making it fold back into the shake it was before and slides it back into it's slot before activating her cloaking device once more thus vanishing as she runs and jumps to another roof top and repeats as she's heading back home

"...Did she really ask what she did to irritate me. I quite literally said what my problem was." Regan continued out loud, deadpan and tired. He finally shifted his gaze to Millie. "I thought that was pretty clear."
"Uh... Yeah." Millie blinked, fully opening the door. "I mean, yes, sir."
"Why." The lieutenant continued. "Why are they all like this." He let out a brief, frustrated sigh. It was a rhetorical question, anyway; he knew they didn't care. No one did. "You tell them what they did wrong, then they act all bewildered. Or more morally right." His eyes further glaze over. "Or whatever Freudian excuse of the day it is."
"I mean... I'm not a fan of them either, but..." Millie tried to diplomatically offer her own thoughts. "At least she... offered herself up for arrest?"
"As if that would make a difference." Reagan raised a brow. "I know you know it's more complicated than that." His statement was vague, but Millie knew exactly what he was talking about. She was still learning, but there was a whole process they had to go through when it came to arrests and indictment, and oftentimes people like the woman who showed up would just... get out of it. Whether it be legally, financially, or some sort of power, there were probably just as many heroes and vigilantes catalogued in their wanted lists as there were criminals and villains.
"Well... even still! I think you might've been... a little bit harsh?" She shrugged. Secretly, she was glad to not be on the receiving end of her partner's scolding for once, and there was a certain catharsis to hearing him dish one out against one of those supers... but even still.
"Summers. Leaving behind "suspects" is one thing." He stared, his expression dead eyed. "Leaving behind "suspects" with broken legs at our doorstep might as well be a threat." He gazed off in the distance. "We don't even know if they actually committed any crimes or not."
"W-well, that's..." She couldn't really argue with that. Except... "Oh, wait! Right!" Millie perked up. "That's why I came out here!" She stepped outside.
"Careful," Reagan warned her, a small bit of his deadpan humor surfacing. "That woman might come back and break your legs for approaching an officer too fast."
"H-Hey!" She stammered, stopping in her tracks and looking around cautiously. Once she was sure it was clear, she continued. "I just wanted to tell- er, report that the evidence checks out! The suspects were on tape!" She huffed out her chest with a salute, though her confidence quickly diminished. "...Uh. That's all."
"And can you prove that, Summers?"
"...Eh?" Millie blinked.
"Can you prove it really was them? Can you prove this mystery woman didn't tamper with the footage?" He asked. "Can you prove the suspects aren't just being framed?"
"Uh..." She scratched at her cheek sheepishly. "Well..."
"You can't." His brow furrowed. "Not until we thoroughly investigate it."
Millie frowned. "Does that mean the evidence isn't legit?"
The lieutenant snerked. "I didn't say that."
The young woman tilted her head. She was about to further question him, but quickly stepped aside once she saw him approaching her.
"C'mon, pup," he grunted, brushing by her as he reentered the building. "We have some evidence to cross check."
"Haah?" She blinked again, then scampered after him. "Ah! Wait for me!"
