Lost and confused ( Open)

A young red haired woman walked in daze down the side walk, her eyes had no life in them. She bumped into people as she passed them as if she did not seem to even notice they where there. The people she bumped into where annoyed but just brushed it off going on about their day. She soon came to a intersection just as the light turned green, she did not stop however and walked right into the moving traffic




( Ack sorry its so short! This is a part of a plot I have been wanting to. ^^;

Barret had just finished his shift so he was just walking down the sidewalk with his hands in his pockets when a redheaded woman bumped into him but he wasn't annoyed like everyone else. In fact he could tell something was wrong by the way she bumped into him as if he wasn't there at all so he turned around to follow her "hey miss..you-" he then pauses for a moment when he sees the light turn green but she was still walking and he saw a car coming down the road at a high speed.

"OH CRAP, MA'AM WATCH OUT!!" he shouted as he bursts into a sprint, pushing by anyone in his way and possibly accidentally pushing some people over in his frantic effort to save this girl and thankfully he was able to grab the woman and pull her back just in the nick of time as the car drove by honking it's horn but he didn't care about that. Now he had a hold of a girl in his arms and it took him a split second to realize that "uuhh...crap, sorry ma'am!" he blurted as he let go of her and took a few steps back before taking a few breaths to recollect himself "Well...that was close..." he muttered softly with a small grunt that rolled like a rock in his throat.

"You alright, ma'am? I hope I didn't accidentally hurt you.." he muttered lightly while looking at her to make sure she isn't hurt because that did give the man a major adrenaline rush so that did make him worry if his grip was too tight when he grabbed her or if he pulled too hard..he is a big muscular brute of man after all

The woman did not really give a reaction when she was suddenly grabbed and pulled back, she just stared blankly at Barret. Though slowly light started to return to her eyes, "Aghhh.... Wha... Who are you? Where am I?" the young woman asked as she looked around confused. She had no idea where she was or the danger she had almost been in. She still looked like she was in a daze as her mind slowly came back to her.

The big brute of a man would wave his hand in front of her face saying "hhheelllooo you awake in that noggin of yours?" as she still seemed in a daze aww man..what do I do now...this completely awkward..um.. he thought to himself while trying to get some sort of reaction from the girl but then suddenly

"Aghhh.... Wha... Who are you? Where am I?"

Oh? what? he saved her life and that's all she had to say? but at least everything is working in her head now..sort of..so giving a relieved sigh he rubs the back of his head "The name's Barret and your basically out in the middle of no where in this city and would of became this week's pancake splattered all over the road if I hadn't grabbed you the way I did and pulled you safety" he said with a small grunt while looking at his surroundings and sighs "maaannn you were in some sort of daze and bumped by people as if they weren't even there, me included...not that I care however it was the way you were walking that grabbed my attention..you looked like a zombie or somethin..you feeling alright up there?"

He'd then proceed to poke her forehead with his big finger while having his lower lip wrinkled upward at her but then stops as he sees people staring at the two so he pulls his hand back and sighs "what a drag..this is embarrassing..you know that? hope these people aren't thinking I'm trying to kidnap you or somethin..yeesh..I swear people in this town jump to all sorts of conclusions.." he muttered with a annoyed groan and finally waits for her to answer now that he just noticed he was complaining outloud "Barret..shut the cheese nuts up and let the girl talk.." he thought to himself and shook his head at himself while rubbing the back of his head with a grunt
