It was the weekend and Ellie Ackart had gone to the park with some friends and their parents. She had fun playing games with her friends without a care in the world. After a while they all stopped to eat lunch, little Ellie happily ate her sandwich and drank juice. However soon a dog caught her attention a dog had come near by as if asking for food. "Aww you look hungry." She said as she got down with sandwich in hand. "Here have it." She said as she held out her hand with what was left of her sandwich. The dog hesitated but then took the sandwich from her hand and ate it. Ellie smiled and held her hand out for the dog to sniff, the dog did so and then let the little girl pet him. Ellie gently petted the dog as she was taught to do and after a bit the dog left. Ellie smiled as she watched the dog walk away and was about to go back to her friends when she suddenly started to feel strange. She stopped and then looked at her hand to see fur had started to grow on it and started to change into a paw. Ellie's eyes grew wide with panic and she started to run back to the grown ups.
But before she could get to them she fully transformed into a puppy. When she got to the adults of the group she was with she tried to ask for help. "Help!! Fur started to grow on me and my han-" She stopped when one of the adults noticed her and pent down to her. " Aww hello little fella you lost?" He asked, "Its me Ellie!!" She said and then looked down and saw she had fully changed. The adult just smiled and went back to what he was doing. It started to sink in for Ellie, they could not understand her.. All they must be hearing was just barking.
Tears swelled up in Ellie's eyes and she took off running. She had to go home! Mom, Dad, Taylor or Anna! She had to find one of them she just had to! But getting home from the park was easier said then done. As Ellie did not really know how to get home from the park. It did not take long for Ellie to get very lost, she had no idea where she was and could not ask anyone for help.
" No one can understand me.. I can't find my way home. I want my Mom!! Wahhhhhhhh!" Ellie started to cry and covered her face with her paws.
"Hey now whats with the water works? " said a new voice. This startled Ellie and she yelped. She wiped her eyes to see a orange cat talking to her, she stared in disbelief. The cat just spoke... "Y-You just talked!?" Ellie replied.
The cat just smiled, "Yes I did and I'm continuing to do so. Judging by your reaction you are no normal pup I bet." The cat said.
"No, I'm a girl." Ellie replied.
The cat nodded, "I see, and how did a girl like you turn into pup?" she asked.
Ellie then tearfully told the cat how she gave food to a hungry looking dog. Petted him and suddenly had fur growing on her and suddenly found herself a puppy.
The cat nodded as she listened, " I see.. You may be a meta human kid, and it looks like you can turn into animals. Or a dog at least" The cat said with a smile.
Ellie stood there dumbfounded at the fact she was a meta human.. Big brother is one.. She knew few others. Ellie looked down at her paws again
The cat chuckled a bit, "My name is Sunny, whats yours?" Sunny asked.
Ellie looked up, " Ellie." she replied.
Sunny nodded, " Well Ellie, I will stay with ya till you ether turn back on your own or we can find someone to help you." she said with a smile.
Ellie gave a teary smile, " Thank you!" she said.
Sunny just smiled, " Alright lets go, can't find any help standing around here." She said and started to leave.
Ellie nodded and followed after Sunny.

She was going to find him if it was the last thing she'd do.
But not today.
Today, Mary was not the dangerous creature that prowled the streets and stalked the night, lusting for the day she could slay the man she hated most. Today, she was completely normal - no fangs, no fur, no claws, no tail. It was nice, and she smiled to herself, pleased with her antidotal pill. Sure, it only lasted less than half of a day, but she was more than happy to trade off her beastly powers for a clear head and the ability to function in society. Times like this almost made her regret that she'd experimented on herself, but she would shake it off. It was for a good cause, she knew that much.
Mary had spent today busying herself with trying to find a nice, quaint job to keep her afloat while she stayed in Aster City. She was dressed modestly, business casual, with her hair neatly up folded up in a tight bun. She'd just come from a job interview, and from how well it went, it looked like she was their first choice. She couldn't help but smile to herself. How lovely! Perhaps she'd find a nice cafe and treat herself to a fancy coffee and a delicious little pastry. Maybe it was a bit presumptuous for her to celebrate so early, but then again, who said anything about celebrating? Sometimes you were just in a good mood!
"Hmm~" Mary hummed, strolling down the sidewalk, scrolling through her phone. "There must be a nice cafe around here somewhere," she murmured. As she walked, she checked her surroundings periodically, making sure she wouldn't walk into traffic. It was during ones of these checks that she'd noticed the pair of animals on the street. "Awwh," she cooed, clasping a hand on her cheek in adoration. "Is that puppy following a cat...? How cute...!" She smiled, turning her phone on its side and hoping to capture a video of Sunny and Ellie. "Ooh, please let me get a nice shot...!"

Sunny was deep in thought as to how she was gonna help little Ellie... She did not know really know any teachers of powers or whatever... Agh.. Her ears flatted on her head in slight annoyance as she pondered. Though a new voice brought her out of her thoughts. Sunny blinked and looked over at a woman with her phone out, ether taking photo's or video taping them. Sunny could not help but chuckle a little. " Ahhh... Looks like she thinks its cute you are following me Ellie haha." Sunny said with a smile as she just kept on walking down the side walk. " Oh?" Ellie replied though to everyone else it would sound like a little woof.
They soon came to a crosswalk though the sign was red, Sunny held out a paw to stop Ellie, "Stop, its not safe yet." Sunny said. Ellie nodded and stopped, it did not take long for the crosswalk light to turn green and the two of them crossed the street. "Hmm There is a computer café near by that I sometimes visit, they will let me use a computer to help me find a power teacher that can hopefully teach ya how to turn back into a human girl. " Sunny said. Ellie smiled at the news. " Yaaay! Thank you." she said happily.

Oh! The cat looked at her! Mary nearly squeaked in excitement. "Cute~!" She couldn't help but utter. Perhaps she would follow them! Nevermind that it could potentially help her with her research; there was just visceral joy about seeing two different species getting along like that. Actually, one could argue that such a phenomenon went against her own studies about animals and instinct, but it wasn't too far fetched. There've always been stories of odd animal friendships!
As she followed from a safe distance, hoping to not startle the pair of animals, she was surprised to see them obey traffic laws. Or at least, the cat did. It made sense - a stray cat could probably pick up on the workings of such things. What really stood out to her was the fact that she'd seen the cat stop the puppy from crossing before it was safe! "Aw... Too bad I wasn't recording that..." Mary frowned.
...Still, what did this mean? Were the animals around here... more intelligent? Maybe if she just got closer...
"Helloooo~" She cooed softly as she followed them across the street. It was more of a means of making her presence known rather than greeting them; the last thing she wanted to do was scare them off. "Where are you two going, I wonder...?" She mused, hoping to get them used to the sound of her voice. She'd dealt with her fair share of animals before, so as long as she could convey that she meant no harm, maybe she could get close enough to check on their health! Or at least maybe get them to a vet or shelter... She couldn't imagine it'd be safe out here for them. Maybe the cat could make do, but the other one was still a puppy...

Sunny paused when the woman called out to them... "Oh... Oh no..." She sighed as she hung her head before looking back with a slight frown. "Looks like she is gonna be a meddler.. Lovely." She then looked at Ellie who was looking confused a she also looked back at the woman. Sunny then looked back at the woman with a sigh. "Ma'am I have everything covered here. I'm going to a near by computer café to look up someone who may be able to help this little girl turn back into a human. So if you would not interfere I would appreciate it " Sunny said her eyes meeting Mary's. Ellie mean while looked at Mary and tilted her head.

"Eep!" Startled, Mary jerked back, halfway raising an arm in defense. The cat could talk...?! She blinked wordlessly, then blinked again when Sunny explained the situation. "O-Oh..." She cupped a hand to her cheek in concern, glancing over to the small puppy. "She's... actually little girl? A human?" She frowned. "...What about you, then? Are you also human...?" Mary thought aloud to herself, cupping her chin in thought. She definitely knew a thing or two about transforming humans into animals... but whether or not it would be useful here was an entirely different matter. Besides, perhaps it wasn't best to reveal that hand just yet...
"...Oh, I'm sorry." She apologized. "My name is Mary." She neatly folded her hands together. "I'm not in any hurry right now, so... is there any way I could maybe help? I mean, you seem to have it covered, but..." She glanced around, hand on her cheek again. "You never know what might pop up in the city..." She smiled weakly. She didn't look like she had much to offer in the way of protecting either of them from danger, but sometimes the hidden ferocity of a concerned mother was good enough.

Normally Sunny was very amused at people's reactions when they heard her speak for the first time but seeing as she was on a mission she did not smile or laugh. When the woman asked if she was human Sunny shook her head, "Nope, I'm a robot." She replied, The Mary went on to say her name then asked if she could help out and come along with them saying the city could be dangerous. Sunny knew full well the dangers of the city, but it would not hurt to have a extra pair of eyes. "My name is Sunny, nice to meet ya. Alight sure you can come along, I don't see why not." Sunny replied so far Mary was not giving off any red flags, so she saw no reason to say no. With that Sunny started to walk again and Ellie followed behind her.

Ohh... A robot? Interesting...
"Oh, thank you," Mary laughed softly in relief. "Frankly, even if you said no, I think I would've tagged along anyway." The woman mused, idky twirling at a stray hair. "I have a daughter myself... If she was ever in trouble, I'd want someone to look after her, too." She frowned. In fact, her own child was a half wolf hybrid of sorts, but that wasn't info she needed to share. "Ahh.. but nevermind that."
They'd walked for a few blocks, and... it was uneventful, to say the least. Even as Mary diligently kept an eye out, the thought crossed her mind that maybe she wasn't needed after all. Worst case scenario, a shelter would try to take the poor girl in, but... with Sunny by her side, any misunderstandings could easily be cleared up. Perhaps she was just wasting her time.
Or perhaps not.
Mary felt a pair of eyes on her. Even without her sharpened animal senses, years of asserting dominance over other beasts had made her acutely aware of the feeling. There was definitely a presence close by, and it was looking for a fight.
And then it sprung.
"Look out!" Mary yelped, lunging forward. She scooped up Ellie and Sunny and dashed aside. Her own speed overtook her feet, and she fell over. Still clutching the two in her arms, she twirled aside to land on her back. Reeling from the adrenaline rush, the woman winced at the momentary pain before slowly opening her eyes.
The area where they once stood was now occupied by a large wolf. He wasn't fully beast, however; there seemed to be a vaguely human shape to him. It was easier to see in his lower half, though the fur that covered it definitely made him seem more animal than anything. He stood on all fours, his claws raking at the ground in angry frustration that he'd missed his mark. Slowly, he turned his head towards the trio. Saliva dripped from the corner of his jaw as he barred two impressive rows of sharp teeth. He snarled, menacingly stalking towards the group.
He growled something that almost sounded like a word, but it came out as a garbled snarl.
Only Mary recognized the word: Alpha.

Sunny could not help but give a small laugh when Mary said she would have followed even if she had said no. She listened as Mary said she had daughter herself and how she would hope someone would help her if she where in trouble. Sunny gave a soft giggle and nodded, "Fair."" Sunny replied, in the long run it would be good to have a human around anyway. It would be super annoying for someone to try and take little Ellie away just because she is stuck in puppy form. Hmm.. Perhaps she should have called someone from the Guardians from the start.. Oh well. The three of them would walk a little while and they soon where near the computer café when all of a sudden...
"Look out!"
Sunny did not have time to even react when Mary suddenly picked up her and Ellie. Next thing they knew they where on the ground, Little Ellie yelped in shock. "GAH what huh?" Sunny said in shock as now she was suddenly looking up at what she could best describe was a werewolf.
"What the... Oh man..." Sunny said as she then wiggled her way out of Mary's arms and stood defensively in front of Mary and Ellie. "Silver, come to my location right now... This is a code red.." Sunny said as if talking to someone. Suddenly Sunny's tail started to change, it opened up and a blade came out, Yuki did not really want to give her a upgrade like that but seeing as Sunny liked to play hero she decided to give her robot cat better ways to defend herself. This may be to much for her and Silver to handle on their own though.. Time for some even more backup. "Calling all Guardians, this is Sunny and I am under attack from a werewolf looking thing. I am sending my location." Sunny spoke again.
One of the Guardians heard the call, Alexander. "Ok! Coming my feline friend." He replied though only Sunny would hear it. Alexander then took out a gauntlet putting it on and suddenly it glowed, when the light faded away Alexander was in his full armor and took his hammer out of his bag, it was small at first but quickly grew in size and he took off running as fast as he could and hoped he would make it in time.
Mean while Sunny moved in for the attack. She may not be able to fully take this thing on by herself but she could be at least be a annoying distraction! Thankfully though Silver was quick to show up, his bladed wings where out and he dive bombed the werewolf guy. Sunny smiled, "Thanks for coming Silver! Come on lets do this!" Sunny said. Silver did not respond but helped Sunny with the attack. She went for the legs of the werewolf, she may not be able to land super strong attacks but she could at lest try to cripple it! Mean while Silver served as a distraction as he would dive bomb the werewolf slashing at it with his bladed wings.
Ellie meanwhile started to whimper and cry in fear and snuggled more into Mary as she trembled.

"There there, sweetie," Mary frowned, patting and reassuring the poor girl-turned-puppy. She grimaced from the pain of falling and did her best to sit up, keeping one arm securely around Ellie. Sunny had already reacted, and the woman had just barely heard her make some sort of distress call. Guardians, huh...? Ooh, Mary really was lucky.
Because she knew the beast had come to challenge her.
Still, she couldn't let the cat know that - or whoever else she may have summoned for backup. As Mary returned to her feet, a predatory bird swooped down at the creature. It seemed to be an ally of Sunny's, judging from her reaction. She didn't know how long they could hold the beast off though, so the woman was quick to duck behind a mailbox. As she continued to clutch Ellie tightly, she considered her options. Mary could flee, but the beast would pursue her for sure... and she had no way of fighting back while her own beast form was suppressed. She also couldn't just... run off with this child or leave her behind! Oooh, what was a woman to do?!
...Well, it was just like she said: you never know what might pop up in this city. And if things like this were common... Mary turned her head aside and called out. "Someone please help! There's a werewolf attacking!"
Only after yelling for help did she realize that a young man already stood behind her. She nearly jumped at his presence, but he paid no attention. His gaze was already focused on the commotion before her. He paused, met eyes with Mary, then sighed.
"Tch," He clicked his tongue, then walked past her. "Annoying," He grunted. Mary frowned. She was about to protest his dismissive words, but he spoke again before she could. "One can't get a moment's peace around here..." He grumbled, tightening the band in his low ponytail. He reached for a sword grip that hung from his waist, then clenched it in both hands. There was a small glimmer, then a flash as both blade and armor materialized on his person.
"You're... going to help?" Mary questioned.
"That's the plan," The young man answered, his pitch rising in disdain. He didn't seem too happy about it.
After all... Leo was supposed to be working.
He'd only stepped out to stretch his legs. The office was getting stuffy, so he thought he'd take a quick walk and get some air; nothing more. Unfortunately, things were never that simple. He'd heard the commotion, and he could have gone on his way, but he watched. He watched, and then that woman suddenly turned and made eye contact with him, and now he was obligated to do something. He had to, whether he liked it or not; heaven knows some tasteless headline would otherwise pop up a day later about how he willfully ignored some threat against some innocent woman with her puppy. That was just the way the world worked, and Leo had to keep up appearances.
Meanwhile, the wolfman howled as Silver's iron wings sliced at the beast from above. It wasn't the least bit intimidated by Sunny, but her follow up attack made the creature reconsider her threat level. Her attack successfully connected against one of his hind legs, and for a moment the wolfman stumbled with a yelp.
Leo himself raised a brow at the two robot animals. He wasn't sure if they made much of a dent in the creature, but it was clear they'd successfully distracted it.
Well, he might as well have made his presence known.
"Out of my way!" He called out, entering the fray and swinging his blade in a large arc. It may not have been the friendliest warning, but it was a warning nonetheless. It was courtesy, really - at Leo's eye level, he was unlikely to hit either Sunny or Silver from their positions. His attack did strike the disoriented creature, however. It snarled in response, then shakily leapt backwards to make distance between itself and the others.
For a moment, the creature seemed to measure up the trio before him, before abruptly redirecting its attention to the innocents further behind them. It glanced back and forth between the two groups, then quickly took off, trying to circle past Sunny and Leo.
"Psh...!" Leo snorted in agitation. He tried to follow the beast's movements in an attempt to intercept him. "Irritating mutt...!"

Sunny and Silver where very focused on distracting the werewolf and also trying not to get hit. Sunny smiled when she was able to land a hit and make it stumble, though she did not get cocky. This beast was not down yet.. Though Sunny knew she and Silver would not be able to take this beast down. If only she had a stronger body!! All she could do was stall the beast till then! Silver did not slow his divebombing trying to hit the werewolf with his sharp wings while avoiding being hit.
"Out of my way!"
Called out a new voice. Sunny jumped back and Silver flew higher just as a new comer came in for a attack
"Whoa! That's not Alex! But I'll take all the help I can get! Thanks for helping!" Sunny said looking back at the werewolf who still did not seem very effected even when a guy with sword attacked it. " Sheesh! just how strong is this beast!? Aghhh if only I had a stronger body." Sunny growled. The werewolf started to move again and Sunny moved to try and attack again. " Hey where do you think your going? Your fight is with us!" Sunny challenged as she tried to block off the werewolf path. She may not be able to beat it but she could trip it up at least. Silver was still over head ready to attack again when needed.
Another set of foot steps came running down the sidewalk. Alexander had arrived to the scene. He took a quick glance at what was happening, A man with sword, Sunny and Silver all trying to take down the threat and it seemed the werewolf was trying to go around them. Alexander readied his hammer the size of it changing as he charged in. He then aimed for the head of the werewolf, the size of the hammer would not kill the beast ether knock it out or stun it at best. It could just be a citizen of Aster city who lost control after all so he just wanted to subdue it not kill it.
"Not today you fiend!!" He said after he brought his hammer down on the werewolf.

The wolf creature was already distracted. It had been harassed by a pair of smaller creatures and already nicked by another man and his weapon while trying to focus on its true target, the woman. Unfortunately for it, it wasn't very bright, and it hadn't anticipated yet another combatant entering the fray. The knight's hammer smacked the creature squarely in the noggin, and it looked as if the beast was slapped down into the pavement. The wolfman yelped on impact, very much stunned by the attack.
Leo caught up to where Alexander stood, looking down at the fallen creature in visible contempt. His stance had grown more relaxed but still ready, prepped to cut down the beast should it attempt any more hostile movement. Admittedly, Leo was a little annoyed he hadn't been the one to fell it himself, but whatever. He'd only lent his aid because he happened to be around; he wasn't out here to play hero.
"...Have you learned your lesson, whelp?" Leo asked it with rhetorical disdain. The creature was still very much alive, but had no response. It twitched weakly, letting out a low growling groan.
"Th-thank you so much!" Mary finally blurted out once she was sure the threat was subdued. She ran up to the group, slowing her pace once she was close to the fallen beast. "Goodness...! A pair of knights?" She marveled at the two armored young men. "How fascinating...!"
"Not a knight. And not with him," Leo grumbled. It wasn't exactly loud enough to be heard clearly, but he made no effort to conceal it either.
"I'm terribly sorry to have troubled you!" She apologized to her protectors, then continued with various thanks and praises, almost reminiscent of a Saturday morning hero cartoon. "Poor girl here has probably had enough trouble for one day..." She mused sadly, glancing down at Ellie, still in her arms.
Oh. Great, Leo thought. One of those women.
"She's supposed to be human, you know!" Mary huffed, almost as if she'd read his thoughts. Leo hadn't even made any facial expressions that said otherwise, but maybe Mary just wanted to emphasize the gravity of the danger they were in. She frowned, looking to Sunny. "And you... Are you and... your friend okay to keep going?" She'd expressed the same concern to Leo and Alex, but they weren't exactly in the fray as long as the other two.
"Going where?" Leo asked flatly, though it was really none of his business. Maybe he shouldn't have said anything, but he'd at least like to have the full picture before leaving. After all - he hated to leave business unfinished.

Sunny stared at the downed wolf creature and only relaxed when it seemed it would not get back up. The robot cat gave a sigh of relief and her tail went back to normal. She looked over at Mary and Ellie glad they where ok. She then looked over at Leo getting a good look at him since he first showed up. Yikes this sounded grumpy and annoyed he was even here. Why did he even help if this was such a bother to him? Oh well at least he chose to help so that is all that mattered.
When Mary asked if she was good to keep going Sunny smiled. " Oh yeah I'm good so is Silver. " Sunny said looking at her brother who was perched near by who gave a silent nod.
" Well if you must know we where going to a internet cafe to look up a place to help Ellie turn back into her human form..." Sunny said to Leo
Alex smiled at Leo seemingly not effected by his sour mood. He then knelt down and put magical restraints on the werewolf's arms and legs ensuring it would not pose a threat when it snaps out of its daze. He then stood back up looking at Sunny, Silver then over to Mary listening as everyone spoke. When Mary asked if he was ok Alex looked at her with a warm smile." I am just fine Milady. My name is Alexander though you may call me Alex. May I ask for your name?" He asked as the size of his hammer shrunk and he put it away in his bag. Then his armor glowed and disappeared only a gantlet on his left hand, he took that off and also placed it in his bag.
