The event that happened to Austin and Alexia.
It should have been a happy normal day, but it seems fate likes to throw curve balls. Austin and Alexia where at a cafe enjoying some drinks and snacks. It was not a very busy day for the cafe, it was just them the staff at the desk and perhaps one other person. Suddenly some thugs braged into the building. They where all wearing masks and the leader of the group held up a gun and pointed it at the cashier.
" Alright hand over the cash NOW" he ordered.
Austin was doing his best to stay calm and remined in his seat, however Alexia was starting to panic as she stared down at the table. Austin reached out and placed his hand on hers trying to calm her down. He knew what she could do he had seen it before.
" Come on Alexia just keep it together.. They will just take the money and leave." Austin thought to himself.
Oh my god, oh my god why!! Why is this happening!" Alexia was thinking as her body trembled with fear. When Austin placed his hand on hers she looked at him, he seemed so calm but she was still scared.
The poor cashier was trying to open the cash register but his hands where so shaky he kept dropping the keys. This annoyed the leader of the robbers,
" Whats this? Trying to buy for time? Guess you need some more motivation...." He said as he then suddenly grabbed Alexia by the arm and pulled her in close his arm around her neck and he started to squeeze. All the while now pointing the gun right at her head. Austin stared on in horror as this happened but he did not know what to do! There was five of these guys and they all most likely had guns. Alexia coughed and gagged as she tried to breath, her heart racing so hard she thought it would come right out of her chest. That is when it happened her uncontrolled magic let lose. There was no warning, a sudden bright flash of light and BOOM.
Austin found himself flung into a wall,he lay there stunned a few minutes before slowly getting up. He looked around and his heart sank. The cafe was looked liked a bomb had gone off, it was trashed and everyone was now knocked out. He saw Alexia passed out on the floor, Austin knew he had to get her out of here. He started to get up and winced in pain, oof he was going to feel this for a few days or so.. Not that he cared though, once he was up he made his way over to Alexia. He knelt down next to her and started to shake her shoulder trying to wake her.
"Alexia wake up please wake up!" He said with slight panic in his voice.
A groan could be heard, Austin froze and then turned his head to look and it was the leader of the robbers.
" What the hell...." He mumbled as he stood back up. He blinked as he looked around and saw all his men where out cold and the only one standing was some kid. In his mind he was the one who did this and now he was gonna pay!
"Kid... I don't know what you did... But you sure not getting away with it..." He said in a low growl.
Austin glared at the robber so he thought he did this huh.. Well he would gladly take the blame.. He had a score to settle with this creep, he scared Alexia to the point she lost control again. Austin then tapped into his red aura, his eyes turned from brown to red and his body started to glow a slight red as well. He did not really like to use his power that much but for this dude he was willing to go all out. The leader then charged at Austin. the boy however did a simple side step then a swift spinning kick. Times like this Austin was glad he had joined martial art clubs in his school days!
" Agh!!" The robber said when he was kicked and sent flying to the floor. He quickly got back up glaring at Austin, he was not about to lose to a brat! He then moved in for attack again. But before the fight could go on there was shouting, the cops had come and the rushed in. Austin backed off quick holding his arms up to show he was no threat the robber however did try to fight back but was taken down.
"Him and his buddies tried to rob the place!" Austin said as he glared at the leader. The leader smirked,
" Yeah well you blew the place up!" He said as he was taken out of the cafe.
Austin wanted to bunch the guy but held himself in check, though his body was shaking with anger.The chief looked at Austin then he glanced at Alexia. He knew Austin did not blow the place up, this was not the first time this has happened. He knew Alexia was the cause of this and this would be the last time too. People had been hurt this time.
" Austin...." The Chief started, the young teen looked at him as panic started to set in.
"S-she didn't mean to! The creep grabbed her and scared her! Its his fault! " The Chief sighed and shook his head,
" I'm sorry... But we can't ignore the damage done and the people hurt. he said. No no no no is what ran through Austin's head. This was wrong! They couldn't arrest Alexia! Mean while Alexia was starting to wake up as the paramedics looked her over. She gasped as she sat up looking around at the damge of the building and the other people who had been hurt. Tears started form in her eyes and ran down her cheeks,
" No...." she said in a soft voice.
When a few cops came over to arrest her Austin tried to run over to stop them only to be grabbed by the Chief.
"" NO! Please don't!" He cried out as he struggled to get free. Mean while Alexia did not even try and fight back as they started to cuff her.
"Stop right now and unhand her that's a order." Came a new voice. Everyone looked and stopped. It was Austin's aunt, the mayor of the town. Everyone stopped and stared, the older woman walked in and gave a quick glance around building and then looked at Austin and Alexia. She then looked at the Chief giving him a look and the man let go of Austin.
"M-'Ma'am." The Chief started to say only to be cut of when Austin's Aunt raised her hand to silence him.
" I fully understand what happened, however Alexia did not mean to she was provoked.. But I can't ignore this ether.. But Arresting Alexia wont help her at all... Austin, Alexia.. For the safety of yourselves and others I have to ask you to leave. There is a city called Aster City that is the home of many magical people and beings. It is time Alexia heads there to find a teacher to help her learn how to control her magic. Meet me in my office in a hour and I will have some things to give you. Austin's Aunt said and then left.
Austin stood there stunned a few minutes, it was a lot to take in. They where getting kicked out and now going to be sent to a place called Aster City. Well Austin will take that then seeing his friend being put in jail. A hour later Austin and Alexia showed up at his Aunt's office all packed up. When they entered both their parents where there. Alexia's Mother was crying while her Father tried to calm her. Austin's parents where trying to argue with the Aunt.
" Why are you sending Austin away? He was not in the wrong!" Austin's Father said angerly.
" I know the my baby girl did not mean anything! Please don't send her away!" Alexia's Mother's said through her sobbing. Austin's Aunt remained calm as the parents spoke, she then looked at all four of them.
" I am sorry but its the only way for the safety of everyone." She said as she looked at Austin's parents mostly looking at her younger brother.
" Even if I was just sending Alexia away you know Austin would just find a way to go with her anyway so sending them together is the best choice. Plus he can make sure she stays safe." She said and looked at Alexia's parents.
" You both know these "magic bombs" are getting worse, look at what happened at the cafe. Granted she was provoked and stressed but she could have badly hurt someone. I'm sorry but its best she leaves to find a teacher." She said then looked at Austin and Alexia.
"Austin, I have prepared a few things for you and Alexia.. These are keys to your new car. I was going I was going to give this to you as a present anyway for Christmas so everything is in your name already. Also these, a credit and debit card. I will take care of any money needed so don't worry about that." She said with a smile.
Austin stood stunned as he looked at the cards, keys and his parents and Alexia's parents. All this broke his heart he could feel everyone's sadness. Alexia's parents where now hugging her saying how much they loved her. Austin looked at his parents giving them a teary eyed smile as they came over and hugged him. After saying their good byes Austin took the keys and the cards. Austin found himself unable to say anything however as he did not want to start crying like a baby. Auntie then got up,
" I will take you to your car." She said as she then started to lead the way. Austin and Alexia followed in silence, they would glance at each other as they walked but mostly kept their eyes on the floor.
When they came to the car Aunie came to a stop and turned to look at Austin and Alexia with tears in her eyes.
" I wish I could do more you both..." She said as she then suddenly hugged both of them.
" Good luck both of you.. I hope to see you both come home." At that moment Austin could not hold back his tears, they ran down his cheek as he hugged his Aunt back.
" I promise.. We will come home Auntie, thank you for everything. " He replied. Alexia also hugged the mayor back she had been one of the few people in the city who understood and never feared her.
" Yes, thank you.. I... I will do my best." she replied. And with that they released the hug then Austin and Alexia got into the car and drove away.
