Another boring school day. ( closed/invite)

This is recreation of a thread that happened on our former site that helped shaped the story for this site. So I just wanted to make a updated thread so the events can be seen here on this site as well. If any one has templar's they would like to toss in for the attack just let me know or I will just use the same nameless NPC's like I did before.

Taylor sat in the back of the class room as he looked at what the teacher was writing on the board. The young blond man took down notes so he would have them later for a test or when he worked on his homework. Taylor has been having his ups and downs and his grades have shown it. But now he had them back up again and was going to try to keep them that way. he could not let John get in the way of his life, he had to move on the best that he could. The bell rang and Taylor put his things away. He waited for most of the people to leave the room before leaving himself. It was launch time so Taylor made his way outside and walked over to a huge oak tree and sat down next it to it. He then took out his launch and started to eat.


It was a nice day so he was not the only one out enjoying it. Toshiro had come out to eat as well, he scanned the area and saw Taylor. The young Kitsune smiled and walked over to him, He had known Taylor for a little while now he had met him when Taylor was being bullied and Toshiro stood up for him. Being the Mayor's son did have its perks but being a half breed some still liked to look down on him. he guessed that is part of the reason he and Taylor hit it off so well. " Hey Taylor mind if I also sit here?" he asked


Taylor looked up and smiled when he saw Toshiro, besides Sarah he was his only other friend. " Sure" was Taylor's short reply as he kept on eating. Toshiro smiled and nodded as he to sat next to the giant oak tree and took out the lunch his Mother had made for him. " So you have any plans after school?" Taylor asked in small hopes that he and Toshiro could hang out. But seeing as he was the Mayor's son he was busy most of the time. Toshiro shook his head, " Sadly I have things I have to do at home.." He said with a sad sigh. His Mother and Father where always working with him. He was ether training with magic, swords play or learning how to run the city someday. It left him with no free time most of the time.


Taylor nodded on understanding, " Its fine, I understand." Taylor said with a smile trying to hide he was a little disappointed. Though soon something caught his eye. Sarah along with someone he did not know was coming over to them. " Hello Sarah." Taylor said in greeting when the two girls came over. Toshiro nodded on greeting, "Hello Sarah, and who's this?" he asked looking at the new girl.

Sarah had been running all over the place around the school that morning, doing things for the teachers and so on. Though her main goal for the day was to show a new student around for the day. She had enrolled a week  ago and the principle asked if she could show her around and make her feel more at home at the school. However she had been running a little late and was now in a rush to get to the office. She ran as fast as she could getting yelled at by a few teachers for running on the hallway. " Sorry! In a hurry!" Sarah called back to them. She soon reached the office and saw who she assumed was Tara the new student. Sarah came to slow stop and held out her hand. "Sorry I'm late! I'm Sarah nice to meet ya!" She said. Taji stood up and shook Sarah's hand," Its ok I was not here long. My name is Tara nice to meet you." Taji said with a smile. The half dragon took on a fake name suggested by Malady and even had a disguise to look for normal as well.   It was a risk to enroll in the school... But it was a dream come true! She had never been able to go to a normal school so Taji was looking forward for this.  Well Lets get going lots of places to go and people to see!" Sarah said with a smile and started to lead the way. Taji smiled and followed after Sarah.


Time went on till the bell rang out for lunch so Sarah took Tara outside for lunch where she spotted her two friends, " Hey those are my friends, Taylor and Toshiro. You should meet em." Sarah said as she made her way over to them. Taji nodded and followed when Taylor called out Sarah saved. " Hey! How are you guys. Oh this is Tara by the way, a new student I was just showing her around." Sarah with a smile. Tara gave a shy smile and waved. "H-hello nice to meet you." She said.  But before they could talk more a voice went though the speakers.  " All students!! Report to the gym I repeat all students report to the gym!!" " What? There was no assembly planned for today... Eh whatever lets go guys." Sarah said as she started to head to the gym with Taji right behind.

When the voice over the intercom said to go the gym Taylor and Toshiro both blinked and looked at each other confused. " Huh... I wonder whats going on." Taylor said as he started to pack up his things. Toshiro shook his head, " I don't know. Better go and see whats going on though." he said as he also packed up his things." Go guys go on ahead I will be there in a bit." Toshiro said. Taylor nodded and took off after Sarah and Taji.



Sarah made her way to the gym with 'Tara' in tow. She had no idea what was going on but it must be very important if the school suddenly needed to call a assembly out of the blue like this. " Sarah, does this often happen often?" Taji asked as they entered the gym along with other students who looked very confused and talked with their friends as they all found places to sit down. Sarah shook her head and looked back at 'Tara' " No, well rarely. But this is very odd. Here lets sit here and save a spot for Taylor and Toshiro." Sarah said fighting through the crowds and found a spot to sit down. Taji nodded and sat down next to her and saved a spot for Taylor and Toshiro. She then kept a eye out for them. Taylor came soon after and looked around for Sarah and 'Tara'. Sarah spotted him and stood up and waved. " Taylor! Over here!" She called out. Taylor waved back with a smile and headed over sitting down next to them. " Sarah, have any idea whats going on?" He asked as he looked at Sarah. Sarah just shook her head. " Your guess is as good as mine." She said.

Soon Toshiro came to the gym but sadly all the seats around Sarah, Taylor and Tara had been taken. They tried to wave him over but the half kitsune just shrugged and spotted another friend of his. A girl named Jenna who still had a spot next to her. So he sat next to her instead. " Hello Jenna." He said with a smile as he sat down next to her. She looked over at him giving a shy smile. "H-hello Toshiro she softly replied. After everyone was settled in that is when Men and women entered the room wearing armor. All the students fell silent confused as to why people with battle ready armor was here. When Taji saw them it took all the will she had not to panic, she knew that armor well.. The Templars... How.... How did they find her?? she had been so careful! What where they going to do?

The principal who was with them was scared and shaking. S-students, t-these men" He started to say only to pushed to the floor. Sarah gasped in shock as she stared at the men and women in armor. Whoever they where they did not have good intent.. Taylor was to stunned to say anything, Jenna started to panic, to try and keep her calm Toshiro put his hand on hers. However she grabbed his arm and clinged to him. That surprised Toshiro a bit, But he was more concerned about the people in armor... Just who are these people and what did they want?

The leader of the group stepped up and spoke. " As I'm sure you are all aware there was a dragon sighting some time ago." This was met with a few laughs but where soon silenced by the the looks of the templars. " the dragon is very real and has killed one of our own. He have been tracking the beast and have reasons to believe it his her among you. Dragons can take human form and plan on flushing the beast out by any means possible..." As to prove a point he took out a gun and shot the principal dead.


Everyone screamed as they saw their beloved principal shot right before their eyes. But no one made a move scared now they would be shot to. Taji's heart started to race, everyone was in danger because of her.... She.... She just could not allow anyone else to be hurt. " That is what happens to people who hide a dragon from us or just gets in our way.... Now please students I know someone of you know who the dragon is... Or just make it easier on your self beast and show yourself..." the slayer said as he pointed his gun at other staff members. " Or I will shoot everyone here one by one..." he threatened darkly. Taylor was to scared to move. Suddenly there was movement in his backpack and Kit of all things poked his head out of Taylor's backpack with wide eyes. "Holy Inari.." he said terror and quickly dunked back into the backpack. Taylor heard his friend but was to scared to say anything to him. Kit had wanted to surprise Taylor but did not expect the day to turn out like this!



Toshiro was stunned as he sat there, Jenna started to cry and grabbed his arm. This snapped Toshiro out of his stunned daze and he put a arm around Jenna as his eyes hardened into a glare.. If only he could do something... these guys where armed though and there was a lot of them.. There was nothing he could do..


One of the others in the gym was Amara, she had been there at a former teacher's request to help some students in her class that where struggling with science. She had been standing near the door and stood there stunned at what was happening. What could she do? Would be be able to zap them all? But.. What if things went wrong.. Aghhhhh what to do what to do!!

Sarah was scared but she just glared down at the templars.

To her they where just scum and as a hero she had to do something... But what??? The only way was to show her powers and get other metahumans that came to this school to stand up and fight. It would happen if someone stood up. She then looked over at Taylor, he looked scared. Butt he needed to stand up and fight. Taylor felt someone looking at him and turned his head to side look Sarah. He read the look on her face and knew what she was thinking... Fight back. He gave a small nod, yes they could not stand by and let this madman kill anymore people. " follow my lead" Sarah mouthed to Taylor. Mean while Taji saw the small exchange. If they where metahumans........



Sarah looked at all the templars and a idea came to her, she then started to use her ice powers to freeze their guns to make them useless. After that she turned her attention to their swords. She then started to freeze the swords into their scabbares to make harder or impossible to pull them out.

Now.... blast them back." Sarah said in a low tone.

Taylor nodded as he summoned a powerful blast of wind that knocked the Templars of their feet and to the far side of the gym. Sarah then stood up releasing a ice cold blast of ice from her hands covering the templars with a thick blanket of ice freezing the the templars to the wall and floor.

"RUN" Sarah yelled to everyone in the gym as she formed a sword of ice. The other students looked at Sarah and Taylor and shock before getting up and took off running out of the gym. Yep everyone now knew that she was Ice Queen... But she had no other choice in the matter.


The knights where shocked and to stunned to move at the moment. Sarah knew she and Taylor would not be able to fight them and started to run for the door. "" Come on!! We stand no chance fighting them!" Sarah said as she ran. Taylor put his backpack on his back and took 'Tara' by the hand and ran after Sarah They made it out of the school and off the school grounds. They then started to run down the streets. "" Those guys wont stay down for long! We have to try to lose them while we still can!" Sarah said. Taylor nodded as did Taji. Though tears formed in her eyes. This.... this always happened... Would she ever be able to live a normal life. She looked at Fox with teary eyes, she had no idea what she was going to do now. So then the group used a different exit then the rest of the student body was using when they fled the gym.


The surge of people feeling the gym was huge as everyone fought to get out. Being right at the door Amara was pushed out rather quickly, she cursed in annoyance however she wanted to follow after Sarah, Taylor and that other girl! So she quickly made her way out of the school along with he wave of other students but instead of following the students once out she started trying to find where Sarah and Taylor went. If they got tracked down by those templars they where going to need help!

Toshiro mean while did his best not to get separated from Jenna as they got swept away in the sea of fleeing students. Soon they where outside of the school as everyone was running in every which way, it was chaos. Students, screaming, crying and running.

People on the street where startled by the commotion and started to call the cops and it did not take long for the sound of police sirens to be heard.

" Man what a way to end a school day!! Principal is dead, my cover blown... Ugh!!! I don't care if a dragon was in our school!! That gave them no reason to kill someone!!! As for the dragon I don't blame it for not showing its self." Sarah said as they ran. " Nether do I." Taylor said. That just made Taji cry more she... she had to tell them. " I-i'm sorry!! I'm the one they are looking for its all my fault!" Taji cried. Both Sarah and Taylor stopped and looked at Taji in shock. " I.. I'm a half dragon... My...My name is Taji.." The half dragon said. Sarah just smirked, " Well all the more reason to keep running come on!" Sarah said and started to run once more. Taylor gave a weak smile and took Taji by the hand and ran once more. Mean while the templars where up and running and chasing down the two that dared stand in their way.

Kit could no longer stand staying in the backpack and popped out turning back into his kitsune form and running along side, Taylor, Sarah and Taji.

"Hey hold the tears, you have done nothing wrong. Hey I have a idea, I can get Taji to safety if you guys can keep those templars busy. Don't worry will come back though." Kit said with a smile. His nerves where a bit shot but he needed to help his friend and the half dragon.


Sarah was surprised by the sudden appearance of a kitsune but she agreed with what he said. Sarah nodded, "Alright sounds like a plan!" Sarah replied with a smile.

Taylor nodded, yeah it would be best to get Taji out of here. "Ok, good luck Kit!" Taylor said. Then the four of them split up. Kit used his illusion magic to make himself look human and also changed Taji's appearance. His main goal would to be get her so a safe place then come back and help Sarah and Taylor.

Mean while back at the school the angry Templars where working on freeing themselves from the ice that had them trapped. "Blast it all!! We should have brought some mages!!" One said as he struggled to get free. It took a few minutes and they where able to free themselves. " Come on lets go get those brats! I bet they know where the half blood is!" And with that the templars left the school and started to track down Sarah and Taylor and Taji.



Sarah and Taylor mean while where still running, where to?? The heck they knew they just wanted to get as far from the school as they could. The two of them where running on pure adrenaline right now. Soon the sound of heavy metal steps could be heard, it seemed the templars where able to track them down. Sarah suddenly came to a stop and turned around. Taylor stumbled a bit at the sudden stop looked at Sarah.

"WH-what are you doing??" Taylor asked in a panicked voice.

" We can't run forever Taylor... We are away from the school now.. Its time to fight! They gotta pay for what they did.." Sarah said as a dark expression came over her face.


Taylor stared as in sunk in what Sarah wanted to do. "WHAT!!! You are going to fight them???" he cried.

Sarah nodded as the air around them grew very cold. " I am Ice Queen... I don't run away from evil.... I fight it..." She said as ice spikes started to form around in the air around her.

As soon as the templars came around the corner Sarah fired off the ice spikes at them. Though they where able to block with their shields.

" Ok you kids.... This can be easy... All we want is the half blood... Tell us where she is and you can live.. Simple as that. We don't want to harm humans if possible. said the leader.

This just ticked Sarah off even more. She then formed a hammer of ice as she glared ice daggers at the templars. "THEN WHY DID YOU KILL HIM?? WHY DID OUR PRINCIPAL HAVE TO DIE! YOU F***EN LIARS!!! I don't have tell you anything you pieces of trash!"

Taylor stood there unsure what do to do! He was no fighter much less a hero! But.... He also wanted revenge... The principal was a great man and he is now gone...Forever... The wind then started to pick up. "I'm with you Sarah... Just tell me what you need me to do." Taylor was scared... But these guys needed to be stopped, or someone else could get hurt.

The templar leader sighed and gave the signal to attack. The group of templars then raised their weapons as they charged at Sarah and Taylor.


But then all of a sudden a few seized up as if they where suddenly tazed and fell to the ground unconscious.

"Yeah, I got a bone to pick you jerks as well!" Said a new voice as Amara now came forward. She may be a early graduate of the school but she also liked the principal as well. He was like a grandfather figure to her.


The templar leader growled, " Come on men!! They are just kids  subdue them!" he said as if that was going to be a easy thing to do.

Amara's body cackled with electricity, Sarah had a weapon of ice at the ready and Taylor had the power of wind at his side.


"Like to see you try!" Sarah taunted.

The leader glared at the kids, how dare some school punks get in his way?? They must be brainwashed into thinking non humans and half bloods where not dangerous. The situation is more dire then the he had first thought... They had to take down the leaders of this city and free the humans from their control! But first these children needed to be dealt with...... " Men surround them! We will make them talk!


The three teens stood close to each other as they eyed the Templars, It would be bad if they got surround.... Sarah who was holding a hammer of ice glared as she tightened her grip on the large ice hammer handle. There where may more templars and just the three of them.. She fought odds like this solo but now she had to worry about Taylor and Amara. Sarah then ran forward as she threw her ice hammer then shot off beams of ice and made two walls of ice to try and block the Templars from surrounding them.

" Come on this way!" Sarah said as she headed to the opening. Taylor and Amara where right behind her, they where able to to get past the Templars but the knight's where right on their heels.

" We need more templars..." The Knight-Commander growled as he touched a sigil on a on his gauntlet, it started to glow as it sent the signal for backup to its twin.

More templars where dispatched causing chaos in the streets. And soon the three teens where surrounded by a army with no where to go.

Taylor stood there is sheer panic as he looked at the Templars.

" S-Sarah.." he said softly in a panic.

Amara was scared but she was doing her best to hide it, but the fear in her eyes was clear.

" Crap... There are only three of us..." Amara said as she whipped her head around looking at the templars. She could just zap em all yeah but they would just get back up again.. Unless she.. No... She couldn't.. No that would make her no better then them!

Sarah's mind raced as she tried to come up with a solution. No this could not be how it ends! There had to be a way, there just had to be!


The Knight-Commander stepped forward with a smirk.

" Now children... You will be coming with us.. And tell us everything you know about that beast we are looking for..


Sarah glared at the man as she formed ice once again. She was NOT going to give up no matter what. The odds where not good but she would never give up fighting to protect everything and everyone she cared for.


Suddenly however someone new entered the battle, a large orb came flying in and landed between the Templars and the teens. The orb then vanished to reveal a young woman with brown hair, wearing rather strange looking clothes and carrying a staff and what looked like a satchel around her neck.


Sarah, Taylor and Amara all stared at the new comer unsure how to react.

The Knight-Commander however sneered, " A mage... Ha don't Make me lau- AH!!!" He started say when he was suddenly bombarded with magic fire balls.

"I wont let you have your way!" The witch spoke as she stood in front of Sarah, Taylor and Amara protectively.


Suddenly the ground started to tremble and sharp jagged rocks started to shoot out from under the feet of the templars.

"Yeah nether will I!" Came a familiar voice, Kit had returned.


The Knight-Commander let out a low growl, " I wont let some magic freaks get the better of me!!! KILL THEM!! KILL ALL THE BRATS!" Trying to catch em alive was proving to be to difficult.. It would just be easier to end them all.

With that order the templars started to move in, Sarah started shooting ice beams off, Amara bolts of lighting and Taylor was doing his best to keep the Templars off himself as well as the others with his winds. The stranger and Kit where doing their best as well but it was clear this was not going to be a easy battle.
