Name: Haddek 'Judas' OreSeur
Age: Unknown
Race: Changeling
Powers:
Shape-shifting: Changelings can change their physical appearance at will. Commonly, this change is to imitate an animal or a person, but there are no limitations to what one could change into. While the disguise is not perfect, it would take rather close scrutiny to notice that the changeling is not what he/she seems, especially if one does not know the subject being impersonated personally. For example, it would be more difficult for a CEO to notice that some employee is not really a human, than for somebody to notice that their close friend is acting strange.
Shape-shifting limit: While a changeling's weight might grow or diminish according to what it's impersonating, the other attributes of its body does not change in any significant amount. A changeling won't grow super strong as a result of impersonating a behemoth of a man, and he won't gain intense agility for impersonating a jungle cat.
Stealthy: After years of working as an infiltrator, among other jobs, 'Judas' has learned to be quiet when among enemies. He tends to hide more often than not, especially when undisguised.
Weakness: As part of his eternal 'contract' 'Judas' is not allowed to fight, no matter how much he is threatened. Even if he were to be in mortal danger, the 'contract' would decree that he must run, no matter how futile that may be, than to fight back.
Date of birth: Unknown
Home:Aster City
Alliance: Ever shifting. Whoever pays him is his ally until his job is done.
Relationship: None
Appearance: Without any disguise, 'Judas' has the basic shape and structure of a human, though he has skin that seems to change color from a light blue, to a royal purple, based on how the light is shining on him. He wears tight fitting clothing along with a mask that covers his entire face, for anything too baggy would interfere with his natural abilities. Except for his skin, and peculiar choice in clothing, he is most notable in how average he appears. He is of middling height, weight, and musculature.
Personality:'Cynical' would be a good word to describe the personality of Haddek. 'Paranoid' would be another. In his line of work, trust is an easy way to be double-crossed. With this in mind, he comes into every situation with quite a healthy dose of of pessimism, and obvious sarcasm in his voice, he survives in the criminal underbelly of Aster City.
However, when he takes on a contract, his personality changes drastically. Sure, he may be telling caustic jokes on the inside, but on the outside, he is a servant. He shows respect to his master, and, depending on how he views his master's wishes, even changes the way that he addresses himself, so as to be properly subservient in the eyes of his temporary owner.
History: Haddek's history is shrouded in mystery. There are many stories that he will tell of his origins, all of which are false. These include, but are not limited to: Being made from a lump of clay; the last member of a dying race; a human gifted with magical powers; and a shape-changing alien which changes forms by consuming the body of that which he wishes to become.
The truth is simple. He hadn't always been Haddek. He used to be normal. He used to have a normal name, and a normal body.
He was a small time crook many, many years ago. He didn't have any real importance, which created a terrible lust for power in him. He was always the first to sign up for when the big time criminals were planning a large heist. So, when the suited man came in, asking for him by name, Haddek thought that he had finally got his break. He was moving on up, and all of those who stole from him, beat him bloody, and shamed him would pay.
The man did not say much. Only that he planned to use Haddek for something very special. Something that would change everything forever. Haddek, caught up in the excitement, didn't bother listening to such simple stuff. He just followed the man, not giving a second thought to the chance that he could be betrayed.
The man brought him into a strange office, where he had a contract, waiting for a signature. Haddek, being little more than a thug, couldn't read to any extent, but he was not going to let that stop him. He snatched the pen from the table, and scribbled all over that dotted line.
It was then that he felt his body changing. It was a horrible pain, and the man in the suit standing over him grinning that evil, evil grin did not help matters. He tried his best to strike out at his betrayer, but unconsciousness took over before he even had the chance. When he woke up, he was changed, and tied to a chair. Not by ropes, he noticed. In fact, nothing was holding him down at all, and yet, he couldn't move. The man in the suit sat in a chair opposite Haddek, and he began to tell him what his new role would be. It was a nightmare Haddek could not wake from.
Ever since, Haddek has been the man he is now. Maybe that old name was forgotten, but what happened to that fool boy never was.
Anything else: Personalities change, of course, depending on who is is impersonating, and how much time he has had to learn about them.
