"MEN ARE WEAK, BUT THE SOUL IS STRONG!"Daniel shouted, from the middle of the park.  "AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT, LIKE, GHOSTS OR WHATEVER.  GHOSTS ARE DUMB AND I HATE THEM.  NO I'M TALKING ABOUT WHAT'S IN YOUR HEART.  BREAK FREE FROM YOUR WEAK LIFE, AND BECOME SOMETHING GREATER.  BECOME SOMETHING GREATER BY FIGHTING ME, THE ONE AND ONLY BIG FELLOW, accept no imitators!  He watched in disappointment as the small crowd that he had managed to gather gave him strange stares, then dispersed.  "Damn it!  Why is everyone in this city a coward?"[/color] he exclaimed, seeming actually annoyed for a brief moment, until he perked up again.  "Man, why can't more people be like those goofy knight dudes?  All bravado and no 'What!?  I can't fight!'s, or 'Sir, we're going to have to ask you to leave's, or 'What.'s."[/color] he lamented as he hopped down from the bench, his impromptu pedestal from which he had given his awe inspiring sermon.

"Nothing but cowards in this city, I tells ya.  Cowards and thieves.  And businessmen.  And cooks.  And paper boys.  Come to think of it, there's actually a lot more people in this city than just cowards and thieves." he  continued talking to himself as he walked down the park path.  As it was, he seemed to be almost keeping himself entertained by simply telling jokes to himself.  As it was, there was little else he could do.  Nobody would fight him, and there were only so many times you could train until you needed more than a set of weights to feel accomplished in what you were doing, and as far as work went.  Well, work was fine and all, but you could only call a man by the wrong name so many times until it stopped being as funny, and Daniel was right at that limit, he felt.  Writing another 'Brand E' instead of 'Brandy', or one more 'Stew shoes', and he very well could find himself a broken man, devoid of name related humor, and nobody wanted that.  How would he cope?  How would his fans cope?  No.  He had to refrain from going back to work.  His fans needed him, now more than ever what with the drought of fun in the world recently.  So alas, he found himself once more alone in his boredom, hoping to find something, anything to break him out of it.

Jade was running low on food so she had gone out to get some more. Yes Sean would have been happy to get food for her but she rather do things herself and not trouble Sean with very little thing. So the bestmen had gone around to many shops and soon she had many bags with goodies in them. She then started to walk home again and her path took her down by the park. As she got closer she could hear someone shouting, she thought nothing of it as she got closer till she was able to see who it was. It was Danial! The boy who tried to pick a fight with her for no reason. Hmm... Well this was not good, Jade then kept on walking in hopes of not being noticed.

Of course Daniel noticed. There was no way that he could not notice little Lucy, walking all alone. She seemed desperate for some company, at least, that's what Daniel decided as he jogged over to her "Hey Lucy! Remember me? Of course you do! I forgot I was talking to my BIGGEST FAN! I see you got some groceries. That's good! You'll need to eat plenty after our fight. Don't worry, though. I'll cook for ya. I mean, it's the least I can do to let you eat your hero's cooking after I beat you down, right?" he spoke idly despite the subject matter, and he jogged backwards, so as to keep facing Jade. As it was, the last time that he spoke to this strange little specimen, the cruel woman ran from him, effectively breaking his heart, and annoying him somewhat. Two things that he wasn't going to let her get away with. With God as his witness, he was going to...well, do mostly the same thing as before, but this time be a lot more persistent, at least until the girl finally turned around and fought him.

Even though she tried to be sneaky she knew it was not going to be good enough. Here there was nothing to hide behind she was wide in the open. Though she made no real reaction when the man came over once again hinting he wanted to fight and even offered to cook food for her. Well that was one thing Jade could not allow. Letting Danial go to the house she has been staying in and let him know where she has been living. She then teleported the food she had home. Something small like that would not drain her so it was fine, "No I can cook for myself." Jade said as she then came to a stop looking at Danail. " May I ask why you want to fight me?" Jade asked in her deadpan tone wanting a answer to this harassment. She had done nothing to provoke him in anyway. She could just read his mind yes but she did not want to get into the habit of reading every person's mind she came across. Even if it was easier to get info.

"The answer, my dear Lucy," Daniel began, seeming to be trying to imitate Sherlock Holmes, describing something simple to a poor, foolish Watson, "Is quite elementary. You see, being bored as I am, I have but a simple wish. I wish, simply, to no longer be bored. Simple! And as I see it, fighting you, a freak not too unlike myself, if a bit less charming and good looking, but hey, it isn't your fault that I'm so devilishly handsome. Anyway, fighting a freak like myself would be a rather good way to stave off my boredom, if only for a few minutes, as I can't imagine you are nearly as awesome in a fight as I am." he explained, giving a couple flexes, for good measure despite the fact that his muscles weren't very showy at all.

"So in conclusion, Daniel continued, pointing at Jade, "I'm challenging you to a fight. Accept, or I'll just have to pummel you until you do!" it didn't even sound like a threat. The way he said it, it almost seemed as if he was merely giving the girl a choice between two equal options.

Jade Stared at Danial as he spoke and said why he wanted to fight, simply because he was bored and looking for a challenge because they both have powers. That did not make any sense to Jade what so ever. "That is illogical... If you are bored take part in none harmful human activity's.. Such as playing video games or reading a book." Jade replied to the man. From being in the safe house Jade had been reading the books that have been left there. Did not matter what the subject of the book was. It was helping her learn more of this world, like how to cook she learned that from a cook book. The other books she has read though where just ether stories or works of history.

"I could do these things," Daniel agreed, seeming for a moment as if Jade had convinced him, "I could do what you suggest, or sail on a boat, or dig a hole, or eat raw fish. I could do any of these things, but you see, here's the situation. I don't want to do any of these things. I want to fight. I want to fight you. That's why I told you that I was going to fight you. I don't know why this is confusing to you." he concluded, seeming legitimately confused. Was he speaking some foreign language? Was she from some far off lands where people didn't fight? "Well, disregard those things, and let's fight!" and with that, he unhooked his guitar case from his back, and, tossing it over his head with one hand, and catching it effortlessly with the other, he got himself into a battle stance. No more delay. No more idle chit chat. Now was the time for some excitement!

Jade;s eyes narrowed has the young man's thoughts where clear he was intent on fighting no matter what she said. Jade then jumped back a few feet also getting into a fighting stance. " Fine as you wish.... Though I am not responsible if you get badly hurt as you have brought this on yourself. " Jade warned. She was not going to hold back a human like this would not hold back ether. Then with her unhuman speed Jade rushes forward ready for any defence or attack Danial could do with his guitar case. she did not fear it yes it could cause damage but it was still a weak tool to attack with. She then tried to land a punch on Danial and even if he blocked with his guitar case the power of her punch would make it hit him anyway.

"Yes! Finally!" This is what Daniel had been waiting for! As it was, he saw what was going on as soon as Jade made her first move. Just from the speed alone there was no safe way to block it. As it was, there was little, if any chance to dodge it, either, even though Daniel didn't even think about doing that. No, there was no safe way to block it, but Daniel didn't care. He brought his case up, and let himself get pushed back by the force of the blow, skidding to a stop a short distance away. "Was that it? I would think that such a big fan of mine would manage a better hit than that!" he taunted, getting back into his stance, though noticeably lower to the ground this time around, and simply by the way he swayed to and fro, he seemed much more ready for Jade's antics this time around. "Come then, show me what you can really do, eh?" he chuckled, seeming not to mind that he was caught unaware just moments before.

Jade was unaffected by Danial's taunts she just stared at him with cold emotionless eyes. Her mind raced through many strategy's to beat Danial. She knew he could fly from the last time they met. So she wondered why he has not done so. Perhaps he was trying to study her first before he made his first move. " Is that all you are going to do? Block my attacks and taunt me and not fight back? " Jade said in her deadpan tone. In her own way she was trying to taunt him back though it was weak attempt as she was not used to such smack talk. Though now Jade refused to move she wanted to see what this Danial could do.

"pfft. Ha ha, I guess you have a point. Just defending isn't fighting. Even a baby can defend, but not well, from what I've noticed. WHATEVER THE CASE, you're right. It's my time to shine!" Daniel laughed before he sprung into action. In one fluid moment, he threw his case into the air while popping it open, revealing a sword. The heavy sword dropped into his hands, and he used the momentum to swing around and launch it at Jade. Then, as the case dropped, he clasped it once more, and lept forward with it, also targeting Jade, looking like a spear, with the case as his spearhead. It was quite obvious, just from how smooth it was, that he had practiced this move before, though on who, or how he managed to practice it without being quickly confronted and beaten down by some heros was a mystery. Well, not so much. He had just done it on empty football fields to punching bags, but that was a much less impressive state of affairs.

Jade watched every movement Danial made and did not even flinch when sword was revealed and her training started to kick in. She did not move to get out of the way at first she waited till it would be to late for Danial to change course. Then right at the right moment she side stepped and her eyes started to glow. With a movement of her hand she then used her psychic to try and make Danial crash into the ground hopefully Making the speed he had been using work against him. Jade then again jumped a back a bit still in a fighting stance. She knew this battle was far from over though she also hoped she could end it quickly. A crowed as started to form to watch the fight.. She had to end this before word spreaded even more, she did not want to be part of a show. Least of all Sean hearing about this as Jade knew he would not be happy that she did not tell him of Danial who wished to fight her.

Daniel wasn't expecting to suddenly be forced to the ground.

To be fair, though, Daniel didn't truly expect most things. As soon as he hit the ground, he began working on pure instinct. As soon as face touched ground, he pushed hard against the earth, using his power of flight to give him a little extra air as he popped back up. With that extra air, he slammed his case towards the ground, and pushed hard.

Using his case as an improvised pole, he vaulted from his position, where he was rather vulnerable, and managed to leap a good distance away, though, again, his powers might have had more to do with that than anything else. "Good." was all he said. He didn't seem angry, or shocked, or any emotion, really. He just seemed to be concentrating, and concentrating hard. Again, he attacked. This time he charged at Jade, and threw his case in the air shortly before he reached her. Then, jumping up to catch it, he fell, using the momentum of the already falling case to strike with extra force and speed.

Jade once again watched every move that Danial made showing no emotion rather she was impressed or not. When Danial did that trick move and started diving right at her Jade then stood her ground and got ready to catch Danial's attack. And she did though the force of it cased her to slide back a ways. He was strong for human but then again he also had flying powers as well that he was using to boost the power of his attacks. Jade then tried to throw Danial once again though knowing that was not a great idea but there was nothing else she could do at the moment, and she was also trying to protect the park as much as she could. Then her eyes started to glow again as she then started to use her powers once more and this time she started to fly in the air. Though she would not be able to do this very long. Jade then held her hands together and she started to form ball of psychic energy and then shot it at Danial as she then lowered herself back to the ground.

Mean while as this fight raged on there was someone there who had come to just relax and enjoy herself. Though the battle that had ruined that, and the cries if scared children was not something to be ignored. The young blonde then stood up and made her way over to the fight she had bow and arrow on her back though she did not draw them, she rather talk things out then just start firing. "Umm excuse me! Could you guys please stop? You are scaring the children." Justice called out to Jade and Danial.

Once more, Daniel found himself forced backwards as the girl did that...brain magic thing. With an awkward thud, he hit the ground as he was pushed, but rolled back to his feet, seeming a little less steady than before. "Has some teeth, good!" he said to himself as he braced himself yet again. Ready for a counter attack, he rolled out of the way of the energy ball, and seemed just about ready to charge again when

Oh hey, there's another person!

"Whaddya mean we're scaring the children? We're entertaining them!" he insisted to the newcomer, despite the clear signs that he was wrong. "How about you join us? A good ol' triple threat match! I beat you up, I beat small, smart, and gloomy up, I flex a lot. Kids'll love it!" he offered, as though his current fight weren't already pushing his skills to the limits already. "Name's Daniel, by the way. D-A-N-I, slap an E in there, and tie it all up with a neat little L. Most folk call me 'The Big Fellow' though, because I am larger than life." he insisted. At this point, his attention was pretty much entirely taken off Jade, and placed instead on this lady. More specifically, her weapon. That'd be interesting, to be sure. Daniel always did like a new challenge.
