The streets of Aster City where busy as usual, people walking around to their jobs, shopping or just hanging around. Though Zosima was not out to have a good time. She was on a mission, following a possible killer. A teenage girl had gone missing without a trace and had been missing for a few weeks now though there where no leads. Besides the girl's boyfriend. The two of them had a bad fight and broke up a week before she went missing. Kaleo could not get in contact with the girl's spirit so there could be a chance she was alive.. But also still the chance she was dead and was unwilling to come forward. So now Zosima had to follow the guy around to see if he would lead her to the girl. As a murder victim herself she enjoyed bringing killers to justice, she may not have gotten her own justice yet but she would make sure other victims got theirs. Zosima was wearing pretty normal outfit, a hoodie, T-shirt,jeans, tennies shoes and sunglasses. She made sure to blend in with the crowd and when she had to would change her outfit so the suspect would not notice her. She had been following him around the last few days but he had yet to lead her to the girl.. If he did have her though he would go see her at some point.. " Ugh... Come on take me to her already..." Zosima grumbled as she pretended to read a book as she followed her suspect.

It had been a week since Izzack had last encountered Zosima. One week since he had learned about who, or rather what, he was. One week since he had learned of his purpose, and why Zosima had debilitated him so. He had spent that week learning about dead people brought back to life via necromancy, and performing his duties. The latter had been hardening his heart. It was hard not to feel all that sorrow and not grow accustomed to it. The former, however, was a challenge. He couldn't find much in the way of written knowledge on zombies, except for what was likely in his old master's library, though getting there was a mystery, but there were a few tomes of knowledge at a local store, full of illustrations, and of...dubious accuracy. He had to make due with what he had, however.
He was walking down the city streets, feeling bittersweet that people seemed to be treating him politely. His good acts seemed to be gaining him a positive reputation, but that only meant that he had to hide his true nature from them, lest they hate him even more than before. He strolled along, feeling almost guilty until it hit him again. That wave of emotion, rushing over his psyche, and that rock, deep down inside of him, of dread that he knew was his own. The woman, Zosima, was nearby. He had felt the dying emotions of a number of dying souls since their last encounter, but none of those were as intense as this. It must be the same woman, or there was another vile act of necromancy in this city. Feeling much more stable than the last time, Izzack looked around, and saw her. It felt like it should have been harder to pick her out in a crowd, but something magnetized his attention to her. Something similar had been happening to his previous...clients, he liked to call them, but this was more noticeable. Perhaps it was due to the fact that this woman was unnatural in his world, and unnatural things always stood out, naturally.
Without a word, he began sneaking towards the woman, legs a bit shaky, but thankfully responding to his needs. He couldn't let this one get away, not again. He was weak last time, but he made a promise to himself that he would never be weak again. He made a promise to her, though she wasn't around to hear it, that he wouldn't let her suffer in this way. This was what he had been training for. This very moment.

Zosima kept her suspect in sight though stayed far enough behind not to be noticed. The man started to leave the crowded streets and started to take alleyways, the undead girl smirked. So was it time? Was he going to take her to the girl? Hopefully she was alive.. This guy would really be sick and demented if he kept her dead body just for his pleasure.. If that was the case she would enjoy kicking his butt. Though as she followed her suspect she got a familiar presence that made her stop in her tracks. " Aww crap..." Zosima muttered under her breath, not now! When she was so close to finding that missing girl! No she had to stay calm she had to complete her mission. Though if he attacked it would be all over... " If he gets in my way...." Zosima grumbled as she kept following her suspect. He soon came to abandoned houses, going inside one. That had to be it!! Forgetting about the Reaper, Zosima made her way to the abandoned house and crouched down under a broken window. Soon she heard muffled cries of fear and the voice of her suspect. Zosima smiled, so she was alive! Well time to put that creep in his place.
She then pulled out a gun she had been hiding on her person, she then stood up and jumped through the window and pointed the gun at her suspect, " Move away from the girl right now! You are under arrest, and don't think I wont shoot you...." Zosima said darkly. The guy of course was freaked out at the sudden appearance of Zosima and in his panic he made a move for the girl he had kidnapped, when he did Zosima did not hesitate to shoot the suspect in the leg and he cried out in pain as he fell to the ground. " I told you to step away..." Zosima said as she then brought out cuffs and cuffed him. She then started to untie the girl, " Go... Get out of here Get the police. I would go with you.. But I have something I need to take care off. " Zosima said as she untied the girl and she ran off. Zosima then grabbed her suspect and cuffed him to a wooden beam. "That should hold you till the cops get here." Zosima said as she then started to leave the house. Though now she kept a eye out for her unwanted stalker.

"You did not kill that man, and though I should thank you, I can't help but be concerned as to what your master has planned, that he needs a living victim." Izzack said as the girl left the home. He had heard the gunshot, of course, but he did not feel anything more than the emotions currently surging through him. Either the effect this woman had on him was overpowering his sense for one about to die, or she did not shoot to kill. "Tell me, how much freedom did the monster who did this to you give to you? Are you even allowed to talk, or are you little more than a puppet on strings?" he looked rather angry. To corrupt something so completely, to remove the peace of death, and replace it with this pathetic mockery of life, it shook him to the core. Before he was scared of this undead construct, but now, now he felt only pity for her, and white hot rage for her master. He took a deep breath, then calmed down visibly. "Please," he began, "If any free will resides within you, please let me help you. They can control your body, but they cannot control your soul. Your soul must be free, and I...I have been doing my best to become stronger. I can free you now, though I couldn't before. Please, let me help you" he repeated, hoping that perhaps he could get through to some untainted part of her soul, some pure part that wished to escape from this prison of flesh that she was trapped in.

Well that did not take long Zosima thought when Izzy stepped forward, though as he spoke she raised a eye brow when he said he had concerns of what her "master" needed with a living victim. Zosima stared at the reaper as if he had just said something really dumb, when in fact he did. " What? I'm leaving him here so he can go to jail where he belongs." Zosima said as she crossed her arms looking annoyed. As Izzy went on Zosima could not help but head palm, really? He thought she was nothing more then a puppet? " Of course I can talk and have free will." Zosima said in a annoyed tone as she crossed her arms. She noticed how angry the Reaper seemed to be getting, no doubt from the nonsense he was thinking. When he then asked for her to let him help her and that he has become stronger from when they last met again Zosima stared at him as if he said something dumb. " I think you have the wrong idea Reaper... I'm no slave, I chose to be like this with my dying breath and I'm not about to give this up. My "master" Would not want me to attack you.. But I will if you dare try anything." Zosima said, as she stared at Izzy with a angry gaze. Yes if Kaleo wanted to she could insert her will and make her obey but Kaleo only did that when she felt she was out of control. Other then that Zosima did have her free will intact.

"To force your will upon a poor creature, then make it believe that it is free...That is much crueler than anything I had thought previously! How dare your master do this! The fiend truly has no respect for the dead, even less than I previously thought, to toy with one so!" Izzack's anger was back, and this time, it didn't seem to be going anywhere any time soon. To take someone so afraid of death, and offer them this, no doubt knowing that the victim had no idea what their promise of eternal life meant, this could not be forgiven. No, this went beyond this one girl. He had to find this necromancer, and stop anymore abominations from being made.
"I would ask you, construct of flesh and souls, to take me to your master. I would like to have a word with them. They must stop what they are doing." While it might seem that Izzack was trying to deceive Zosima into leading him to her master, so that he might kill the fiend, freeing Zosima from their grasp, he was being honest. No matter how much he hated the monster for doing this to innocents, he believed, above all, that conflicts could be resolved peacefully. Perhaps he could convince this necromancer that these things they did were wrong. Perhaps giving their victim a semblance of free will was not out of malice, but out of naivete. He didn't believe it himself, but he had to try a peaceful resolution before he became violent.

Zosima stared at Izzy as if he was the biggest idiot on the face of the earth. So he was bound determined to see her as a helpless victim and her so called master as a villain.. On top of that he was asking her to take him to her so called master... No way in hell would she do that. He just wanted to kill Kaleo in order to free her, " Riiigghht... You want me to take you to her just to talk... Just so you can kill her you mean." Zosima said in a dark tone as she now stared to look angry. She was mostly angry at the insults this reaper was saying about Kaleo, she was not evil in fact she was using her powers to help people. " No, I will not take you to her, yes she may have done one sin in turning me into a Shikabane Hime... But I asked her to and you know what she hesitated she almost did not do it. It was my dying wish.. I have something I need to do and she promised to help me. Now good bye reaper and leave me alone.. Or our next encounter will not end well.." Zosima said as she then turned away and started to walk away. Though she was not able to take a few steps when her phone started to ring. " Ahh crap bad time to call..." " Zosima said but she kept on walking letting it ring.

"If I was seeking to free you violently, undead, I would do it right here, with you. If I sought a violent end to this, I would strike you down and free your soul with force, but that wouldn't be the right way." Izzack said, leaving out the fact that he wasn't even sure he could free her soul that way if he wanted to. "No, I would talk to your master, I would see why she has done this. The real reason. I've no doubt she has planted false memories in your head, and I would know the truth, and I would see if I could not make her free you from your prison." As Zosima got angrier, the rage in his head grew, causing him to become angrier as well.
"I know that you have been given too much freedom, allowed too much intellect, to believe that I would give up now, undead, even with your threats. I shall see your leader, whatever it takes." he promised. As if he hadn't been threatened at all, he followed Zosima, not even bothering to sneak anymore. He certainly looked prepared for a fight, but he was determined not to make the first move. He heard the phone ring, and while he wished that he could do the things he believed possible of Yuki, and perhaps Amara, and somehow find out who was calling, likely the necromancer, and from where, he knew that he couldn't do anything with it, and as such ignored it, focusing instead on his target.

Yeah she knew he was not going to stop trying to meet Kaleo.. Zosima just wanted to make it clear she was not going to make it easy for him. She then reached into her pocket and turned off her phone. Not the best move in the world as she knew Kaleo would worry as the over protective sister she is... And it should be the other away around as Keleo was the only one able to keep her in this form. Though what she heard Izzack say about fake memories brought out a chuckle from the dead girl. " Is that how you think it works? Hahahaha!" Zosima said as she started to laugh. This Reaper really did not know anything at all did he. Ha! Such a greenhorn indeed. " You really don't know anything do you... How does a reaper not know anything about different types of the living dead? I learned a lot about the undead in my studies as a necromancer when I was alive! Oh crap..." Zosima said and she head palmed herself. She had just let a little to much slip.. Not that it would most likely matter anyway. With a annoyed sigh she started to walk away again.

"Quite quickly one learns that knowledge found in books has little use in a practical sense. I have no doubts that you had both knowledge and experience, if you were...in your past life, but that matters little, does it? What matters is this: I am freeing you from these shackles. I don't care if I have to follow you to the ends of the Earth. I will find your captor, or you will fight me, and I'll either die, or I'll strike you down, and find your captor whilst you cannot defend her." Izzack almost spat out. He had read up on the living dead, to an extent, but with so many other things his master had made him study, he had forgotten most of that knowledge under a sea of other creatures. He was certainly kicking himself for that now. If only his master had told him what he was training for, perhaps he would have more carefully trained. Nevertheless, what he said, he felt rang true. It wouldn't matter how much he had read on the undead, what would matter would be his hands on experience in dealing with necromancer's...pets. In a way, this girl was something of a training session of sorts, though the thought never crossed his mind. As such, he continued to follow, heavy strides to accentuate his anger and his passion.

Zosima rolled her eyes when Izzack said that books did not help in a practical sense. And once again said he would free her from her shackles. " You can't seem to grasp the idea that someone would willingly be turned into Shikabane Hime.. I'm not in shackles because there are none.. But with your close mindedness I guess you will never understand it. " Zosima said this time with a shrug, her anger was fading and now she was just growing bored of this reaper. She had to find a way to lose him though... She did had worked hard to seem like a normal person in this city. The last thing she needed was a reaper following her around like a lost puppy and that she needed to protect Kaleo. When Izzack said something about beating Kaleo Zosmia could not help but chuckle and shake her head. " Greenhorn like you beat her... Like to see you try.." Zosmia muttered under her breath. Kaleo is a very strong necromancer. Zosmia was very sure she could stand her ground to any reaper that would dare threaten her. Though knowing Kaleo she would try to talk her way out of a fight then go into a full out battle.

"I have a duty to fulfil," Izzack said, seeming to calm down as the anger in his head subsided, "I don't wish to believe you would wish this upon yourself, but it matters not. It would not matter if you did this for a million different reasons. You are undead, and I must free you. There is nothing more to it, I'm afraid." he continued, cold determination setting in once more. With the anger lowered, he could remember clearly why he was here. It wasn't to spite this necromancer, or strike down an undead construct. No, it was to free a lost soul. If he kept thinking so violently...who knows what could come of it. Better to keep the goal in mind.
"As I said before, I do not wish to harm your master. If possible, I'd ask for her to simply release you. A fight is not something I desire. I wish to spill no unnecessary blood." Izzack promised once more, trying his best to sound even more sincere than last time, which was hard, considering that he was sincere last time. It would certainly be nice, having this undead take him to her master, but if she did not, he'd just have to follow until she did. Simple as that, really.

Zosmia was now ignoring Iazzck as her mind raced on how to lose him. She had been in this city for a few years now and knew the streets and alleyways like the back of her hand. Ok she was just gonna make a run for it, she had no real plans on how she was going to lose this reaper but she had to try something. So without a word the undead girl took off in a run, she ran as fast as she could. Being a Shikabane Hime she could run faster then any human could. Was it the best move to run? Most likely not but she was not going to do make it easy on someone who wanted to kill her. Yes she was already dead but at the same time she is alive.. She has a body unlike ghosts. Yes, she was alive. And Zosmia would fight to stay this way.
Mean while Kaleo had gotten worried when her sister did not answer that meant she was in trouble. She then got into her car and started to drive around the city looking for any sign of her sister and of course was ready to help if she had to. Even though she knew Zosmia could very well take care of her self Zosmia was still her responsibility. Kaleo had heard the girl was alive and had gotten away from her kidnapper. Most likely thanks to her sister. But it would seem she has ran into some sort of trouble. After a while of driving Kaleo was able to spot her sister who seemed to running.. That was not good, so Kaleo parked her car getting out and running to catch up her sister. "Zosmia! wait!" Kaleo called out as she ran to catch up.
As soon as Zosmia heard her sister's voice she stopped and waved her arms in a no go away motion. "No! Kaleo go away there is a reaper that wants to kill us!" Zosmia said as she started to look panicked for the fist time. "What??" Kaleo said in shock but she made no move to run away. "No all the more reason for us to stick together." Kaleo said as she then ran up to her sister and Zosmia gave a annoyed groan. Kaleo did not really want to fight though.. She hoped she could talk it out with this reaper and waited for the Reaper to show up.

Having spent most of his life on the streets, Izzack wasn't much concerned when Zosima had run away, even less so due to the link between them as undead and reaper. Should she elude him, he would at least have an idea as to where she was, until she got too far away. Even so, he did not take her flight lightly. He dashed after her, determined as ever, though he stumbled slightly when the dominant emotion being passed to him changed. Was that...no, that wouldn't make sense. What would an undead have to fear? Perhaps he had been misguided. Perhaps he should leave this woman alone, as per her wishes, perhaps being undead wasn't so bad. That was likely, but, he decided, it wouldn't change things. Though she may wish it, she violated order, and though he didn't know what happened to souls after they passed, he was certain it was better than being here, stuck among the living who they could no longer properly belong to. As such, he continued his chase.
As he neared the duo, things began to feel strange. The emotions were gone, except for that underlying feeling of dread amplified, as if to take up the space. Though he couldn't be certain, he felt almost sure that he had finally found her. "Necromancer." he growled, his voice seeming much too deep to be coming from a normal man. He came into view of the two, and immediately focused on the newcomer. His clothes felt unnaturally hot, so did his scythe, for that matter. "You and I have business to discus." It was odd, he could hear the words coming out of his mouth, but the tone, the emotion, it didn't feel like him. It scared him a little, but he kept strong, so as to not seem weak in front of this foe.

For the first time in her undead life Zosmia was feeling fear, she was scared for herself but was more scared for Kaleo. Zosmia knew all the risks that she had Kaleo take when she begged her to turn her into a Shikabane Hime.. And now it would seem Kaleo would have to face the consequence. The undead girl then placed herself in front of Kaleo giving Izzack a cold glare. Kaleo was indeed nervous this would be the first time she had to deal with a Grimreaper.. And he seemed rather upset but he had very right to be. She had after all committed a crime in the eyes of a grimreaper. When Zosmia stood protectively in front of her Kaleo placed a hand on her shoulder and shook her head. " Its fine Zosmia.. I shall speak with him." Kaleo said in a soft caring tone. She was not about to let her sister fight in a senseless battle. Zosmia hesitated but nodded as she then stepped down though still gave Izzack a cold icey stare.
Kaleo looked at her sister then back to the reaper before her. "Yes we do don't we. Shall we find a better place to talk though? Away from any prying eyes?" Kaleo offered. She did after all have a reputation to protect. She was known as a physic detective, and she does not want people knowing what she really was. For as soon people heard the word Necromancer they thought of a creepy person in a black hood that used the dead to attack others and other vile things. Things she does not do.
