Xander had a wife named Sofia who was very dear to him, but she was killed two decades ago. He has high expectations for his son, Leo, but their relationship is emotionally stunted and mostly professional. He hates his father, Albert Aurelius, the previous owner of Heliosoft.
Personality:
Xander is a stern, imposing man who wields a great amount of power, both in authority and physical strength. He is guarded around other people, but masks this with his commanding presence. He does try to be fair to those he works with. He has a reputation for a short temper, but this isn't entirely true; it's more that his displays of anger are rare but very strong, if not terrifying. These outbursts only tend to happen for very good reason, such as someone's carelessness endangering others.
Otherwise, Xander simply tends to be firm. He respects people who can stand up against him with either reason or power, as he's so used to being unchallenged. He also tends to believe actions over words, especially since he isn't so quick to trust others.

Trained Physical Strength and Stamina
For the past two decades, Xander has maintained a training schedule to hone his body and physical strength. He is in fit, fighting shape and at peak power for human standards, even in his middle age.
Black Lion Armor (Custom Magitech Armor)
An imposing, regal looking set of black armor. Xander must physically put it on first in order to be able to dispel or summon it onto his person at will. It was inscribed by Blake Devitt to have a number of magical resistances, mostly elemental. It is also magically modified to have increased durability. This way, it can handle heavier strikes like heavy armor while still having the maneuverability of lighter armor. It does not make Xander invincible by any means; the armor is simply more durable for its type, but can still be worn down or broken like normal armor.
Magitech Exo Brace - Strength Amplifier
Xander wears a special Magitech brace underneath his suit. It magically amplifies his natural strength and power, magnifying it into super strength. He can activate or deactivate the amplifying effect at will, but he can only use the super strength for a limited time. Actively using his amplified strength for a prolonged period will fatigue him afterwards. However, he is continuously training his body and stamina so he can increase the length of time he can use magically amplified strength.
Weaknesses:
Xander cannot overuse his strength amplifier brace, otherwise he risks fatigue and injury to his body. He's still also a normal human; while he's trained in and excels at melee combat, if caught without his armor, weapons or magic can still do great harm to him. If Xander is fought while he is wearing his armor, it still doesn't entirely cover his body, so he can still be struck in certain spots to hamper him.
History:
Although Xander is currently the owner of the company Heliosoft, it once belonged to his father, Albert Aurelius. He had always planned for Xander to take over once he was ready, so Albert ensured to teach him everything necessary to run the company. Once Xander was old enough, he was properly employed by his father, and the shifting of power slowly began.
As young Xander slowly gained access to the family's resources, he took an interest in blending science and magic on a more accessible scale. He began a push towards it, hoping to revolutionize the company, but his father was strongly against this. At the time, Heliosoft majored in weather instruments and meteorology; it relied on proper science, Albert argued. While magical technology wasn't unheard of, it was a rare novelty - not something to be mass produced or used in place of tried and true methods. As a former Templar, Albert viewed it as unstable and dangerous, believing that incorporating it would bring the company to ruin.
Despite his father's disapproval, Xander pressed onward with his project regardless. He assembled a team of magic specialists and experts, with two of them becoming notable: Blake Devitt and Lyle Truman, who specialized in magical elementals and summoning magic respectively. While Xander would grow to appreciate Blake's frankness, Lyle would prove to be the very thing that Albert warned about.
Using Blake's research and Xander's company resources, Lyle went rogue and attempted to summon an ice titan into the physical world. Alarmed by the sharp drop in temperature and the tremors in the building caused by the attempt, Xander rushed to the Magitech project. There, he found Blake doing everything he was magically capable of to stop Lyle. With some assistance from Xander, Blake succeeded in interrupting the summoning, though Lyle himself got away. The two were left to survey the damage, with Blake eventually realizing that Lyle managed to steal some of the company's equipment.
Though angered by Lyle's betrayal, Xander knew he would be forced to keep the incident a secret. He couldn't risk publicizing that Heliosoft was nearly responsible for an otherworldly threat - especially when Blake estimated it'd be decades before Lyle could try again. Instead, Xander kept this knowledge between them. He permanently hired Blake, hoping that he could find a way to stop Lyle's attempt in the future... whenever that was.
Within the same year of that disaster, an attempt was made on Xander's life. While he survived... his wife did not. Devastated by the back to back misfortunes, Xander investigated the attempt himself, believing Lyle to have been behind the assault. To his own shock and anger - it was his own father who tried to kill him. Though Albert felt some remorse, he doubled down when his son confronted him. An enraged Xander attempted to kill him in retaliation, but he ultimately spared him in hopes of making him pay for his crime.
A messy legal battle ensued. With no tangible evidence of Albert's treachery, Xander had little favor in court. The only ones who believed him were Chris Engle, an old colleague now on the police force, and Xander's closest friend, Emmett Sinclair, a lawyer who was crippled in the very same attack meant for Xander. With both of their help, Emmett garnered sympathy in court while Chris secretly worked to expose Albert. When it became clear to everyone that Albert had indeed attempted to kill his son first, his legal team immediately conceded to a compromise. They hoped to avoid officially having his actions saved to the record, but that didn't stop everyone else from piecing together what he had obviously done. Albert would end up being ejected from the company while Xander served some time, albeit on a very reduced sentence. Once he was free, Xander fully cut off his father from their wealth, taking over Heliosoft himself.
Xander still felt responsible for Lyle's actions, however. He knew he had to run Heliosoft himself to properly counter them, but after his own father's betrayal, the injuring of his best friend and the death of his wife, he was deeply scarred. It drove him to become strong in all aspects - so that no one would dare to try and attack him or his loved ones ever again. He sought to do the same for the only family he had left: his 5 year old son, Leo.
It's been 20 years since then. Xander has since taken a step back from Heliosoft's main branch in Aster City to do business elsewhere, leaving his son Leo in charge. While he has successfully raised his son into a capable person, Xander's unfortunately high standards and demanding personality have created a rift between the two, making their relationship... professional at best.
