This had been hectic, fist what happened at the school, then even forming a hero team. Taylor needed a breather. So he took out his old fishing pole and headed out to the forest. He had been out there many times though its been a while sense his last visit. Taylor smiled when he saw the green trees this was one of his favorite areas in Aster it was easy to forget stuff while you where there. He walked through the woods and soon came to the pond that in the middle of the forest. He then readied his fishing pole, he was not going to take any fish home this was just to waste sometime. He then held up his fish pole and flung the hook as far as he could. He then let it sit in the water, a gentle breeze started to stir. Ahh the wind even though he could control it was nice to feel natural wind. Taylor then soon started to feel a tug on his line, he then quickly started to real in prize. Soon a wiggling fish could be seen, he then reached out and carefully unhooked the fish and tossed it back into the water. Then the young boy casted out his line once more as he started to get lost in thought.

"alright, so this should be simple enough," Izzack told himself for the tenth time as he made his way though the dense underbrush, "Find a clearing first, then start small, nothing fancy, then work your way up through the complex stuff. Fire is definitely a no-go, but everything else should be weak enough to do little damage."
Perhaps he should have stuck to a path, it certainly would have been easier than fighting all the way through the thick tangles of bushes and thorns and low branches. Of course, if he had stuck to a path, chances are he would have met someone else along the way, and he didn't want to cause undue stress, and with his get up, that would be inevitable.
So he made his way carefully through the forest until he found a small clearing that looked like it would serve him well. He nearly burst through the surrounding trees and into the spot, but, fortunately, he noticed that it wasn't empty just soon enough to stop himself.
"Aww man, I was hoping to be done searching before I had to leave! Wait, he didn't hear me, did he? Oh God, what if he did? Oh no, I hope he thinks it was just an ani-" Izzack's frantic whispers trailed off into a soundless mouthing of syllables. Every second, he grew more and more worried, frantic even. He wanted little more than to leave, but what if he stepped on a twig, and it snapped, and the boy heard, and he looked, and he-no, Izzack had to calm down, things aren't that bad yet he told himself, though his heart rate was still skyrocketing. For now, he decided, he would wait, maybe the boy would leave, maybe all this worrying was for nothing. That'd be nice.

There soon was another nibble on his line and Taylor started to real in once again, seeing as they where biting they must be hungry. Soon the wiggling fish was out of the water, as before he unhooked the fish and tossed it back into the lake. Taylor closed his eyes taking a deep breath, yes it was good to relax every once and a while. Though in the past he would come back here after getting beat up by bullies from school. Though after he and Sarah used their powers to defend the school when the slayers came looking for Taji. He was more respected then before, so thankfully he no longer has worries about that. Now he had to worry about the slayers.. In fact being put here alone was not the best of ideas.. But he has gotten stronger so if he needed to get away fast he sure he would be able to.
But soon it became clear he was not alone, he heard a voice he did not know and the sounds of twigs breaking. Taylor stiffened has his heart beat started to go faster. Taylor then turned to look and saw a strange and even scary looking person. who seemed to be dressed in some sort of hooded cloak. Just looking at it gave him a eerie feeling. Taylor then dropped his fishing rod, his mind was racing. The young boy then decided to run to be safe, so without a word Taylor dashed off into the woods.

Okay, so this should be simple, just one step at a time unti-
The boy was running.
"Wait, did he see me? I knew I should have been paying attention!" he scolded himself . Oh well, that wasn't important now. What was important was where the kid was running. Away from him, thankfully, too many seemed to run at him, but where was he going? Was he just trying to flee? That could be it, no need to assume the worst of anybody. Though, to be fair, he could be running to where he had friends, to where he can get a bunch of people to help him beat up or kill the monster he found.
That was silly, of course, why would someone do that? That didn't make any kind of sense at all, don't be silly, Izzack! Oh God, that's what the kid was doing.
Izzack ran off in the opposite direction as the kid, he could always train some other time, when he wasn't in danger of being beaten to a pulp by a gang of angry boys. The thorns and branches and bushes, mere annoyances before, proved to be rather disorienting as he sprinted through them. In no time, he found himself completely turned around, though he was unaware, and running as fast as the terrain would allow, towards the fleeing child. "Just gotta get away, just gotta get away, just gotta get away" he kept repeating to himself, an impromptu mantra warding away exhaustion.

Taylor had ran off in some random detraction, but he knew these woods well so he was not going to get lost. Soon a found what looked like a good spot and came to a stop, he looked around well it did not seem the strange person had followed good. So the young boy then sat down and leaned on a tree. He was going to stay here for now and go back to get his fishing pole. That is if the guy did not break it or take it. Though Taylor could not get rid of the uneasy feeling he was getting like the guy was still around somewhere. So he looked around but did not see any signs of this guy yet.. Though if he really was bad he would have followed and attacked.. That's normally what bad guys do right? But soon he heard the sounds of someone ruffling around in the bushes. Taylor then stood up, "W-who's there! Show yourself!" Taylor asked in a timid tone.

Izzack didn't hear Taylor. He didn't hear much of anything, the blood rushing through his head and his repeated phrase kept most everything else out. He hadn't even noticed that he had accidentally been following the boy until he barreled out in front of him, then tripped over him, then sprawled out on the ground near him.
While it was obvious he was breathing, Izzack didn't seem very responsive. He groaned a little, frightened, meek groans, but other than that, he seemed completely out of it. Perhaps the sudden collision with the ground combined with his heavy fatigue from running so much left him too faint to do anything, even run away.

Taylor waited a moment when suddenly the guy he had seen came out of nowhere right at him Taylor did his best to avoid the guy but he was not fast enough and the hooded cloak guy tripped over him and fell to the ground. Was he trying for a surprise attack?? If so that was the worst one he had ever seen. Taylor took a few steps back but this time did not run. He was alone but so was the other guy.. But as he looked at the guy Taylor started to feel bad for him as he seemed to be in rough state. He was starting to think he had made a mistake.. " Hey are you alright?" Taylor asked deciding to try to be friendly to see what was going on. Though was also ready to fight if this guy tried to pull something.

Taylor's voice snapped Izzack right out of his tired stupor with a sudden burst of adrenaline. This wasn't any time to lay down, he was in danger! He scrambled to his feet awkwardly, then stepped backwards facing the boy until his back hit a tree, in case the youth had friends waiting in ambush, no need to expose his back so carefully, and he had to be careful. Oh God, why did he let it get to this point?
If Taylor felt ready to spring on a moment's notice, Izzack certainly looked like it. Every muscle that could be observed through the bulky cloak was tensed to its fullest capacity. His legs were spread apart, ready to run or stand his ground, whichever was the wisest course of action, and his shoulders seemed to be made of brick rather than blood and bone for how hard he was flexing them, in fear of being charged by the youth.
"FINE. Fine, I'm fine, I'm alright, everything is good." he blurted out in the span of a handful of seconds. "I am very strong, so you don't want to pick a fight with m-m-m-me. I'll make you wish you hadn't p-picked a fight with me if you do it! Pick a f-f-fight, I mean, if you do that you will be sorry that you had d-done that." he stammered, trying and failing to seem tough before the child.

Taylor took a few steps back as the other guy stood up, he watched as he backed into a tree and started to try to talk tough when clearly this guy seemed more like a chicken them himself. So this guy was worried he was going to attack him? Well this was the first time Taylor got a reaction like that.. Normally he was the one worried about getting attacked.. Taylor sighed and shook his head. "I'm not going to attack you.. You just startled me is all I just came here to fish. My name is Taylor by the way." the young boy said in hopes the stranger would claim down he would hate for a battle to start thanks to a misunderstanding.. Taylor stayed where he was not making a move to get closer or to walk away as he was sure both of those where not good ideas at the moment.

"I-I see. I as well wish no harm." Izzack said, though his body language betrayed the fact that he did not trust Taylor.
"You came all this way, to fish? Why wouldn't you go somewhere closer to the city?" he asked, trying to make it seem like he was doing anything other than trying to catch the boy in a lie. He spared a few moments to look around the tree behind him. He might have the more defensible position, but that didn't mean that he was okay with not knowing how many allies this guy could possibly have maybe brought perhaps.
"O-oh! Iz-z-z-zack, sorry." he exclaimed after a short time when he finally realized that he hadn't introduced himself. It would be easy to get on someone's bad side if you were rude, and he didn't want to be on anyone's bad side. Especially not here, in the forest, with nobody around to help him maybe, possibly, sort of, unlikely.

Taylor looked at the guy before him and nodded when he said he meant no harm as well. But he still looked like a wild animal that had been backed into a corner. It seemed it would take more to get him to calm down, though Taylor was not very good at this kinda thing. He had no idea what do to or what to say. When he asked about the fishing Taylor raised a eyebrow. He would have thought the answer was clear on that one. " Why? Well look around you this place is so peaceful and pretty. I come here to take a break from the bustle of the city and try to forget about my worries for a few hours." Taylor said with a smile. Then the guy said his name Izzack, well it was a start, Taylor nodded. " Nice to meet you Izzack. Now I'm just going to go back and fish some more. Feel free to stay and do whatever you came here to do.." Taylor said as he started to walk away making his way back to the pond.

For once, Izzack was glad that his hood hid his face, if only because it also hid his sudden violent blush. Wave after wave of hot shame coursed through him. This kid had a good reason to be here, Zack was the intruder, ruining the kid's day, looking like an idiot, not trusting the young man's words. He writhed quite visibly, as if he was in pain as these thoughts coursed through his head.
"TRAINING" He shouted, suddenly, "I c-came here to train. P-people always call the cops, or attack me when I d-d-do it in the c-city, so I wanted to go somewhere p-private." he felt like an idiot for saying it, but he felt more foolish for not having a reason for being out in the forest, maybe lost, and so obviously taken over by social anxiety. He wanted to go home and forget about all of this, but he couldn't now that he said he was going to train. Stupid Izzack! Should have left himself an out!

Taylor did not get very far when Izzy more or less shouted why he was here. The young boy stopped and turned to look at Izzy as he spoke. He was not all that great on the topic magic but he had a feeling Izzy was a magic user. The only other magic user he really knew was Fane and like Izzy she wore what always looked like a costume to him. But it was normal clothing where she came from. Taylor shugged, "You can train if you want it wont bother me. I often go to waste lands or the mountains to train with my powers." Taylor said as he then started to summon some wind to show Izzy. His hair and clothes started to sway as the wind started to make the leaves on the trees move, soon it died down though. Taylor smiled and then started to walk off again. "When you are done you can join me if you want." He said as he then disappeared through shrubbery headed back to the lake.

Izzack fell completely still as Taylor demonstrated his powers. This. This is what Izzack wanted. That confidence, that easy way the powers came to him. Even after all his training, sometimes Izzack's power eluded him, taunting him like an oasis just out of reach as he lay in the desert, dying of thirst.
"Th-thank you!" He called after the young man, seeming much more invigorated than before. If this kid could activate his powers so easily, certainly Izzack could too if he tried hard enough. With that thought fresh in his mind, he launched himself into his training with a wild fervor. First he tried to embrace it, the Source. That sun in his head that held all the sweetness of the world.
It took several tries, but eventually he got a tenuous grasp. Immediately, everything became more vibrant. He felt as if any time he was not holding the Source, he was blind, and now he could see. Every sensation seemed to be pushed to the limit as he stood there, just trying to keep hold of his power before it could slip away again.
After some time, he began to weave. His powers were the elements. Air, fire, earth, water, and spirit. He was rather confident in weaving with spirit, which he had used to create all the wards and traps lining his little hovel, but all the others he was lacking in. Maybe the kid was right, maybe the mountains would be a better spot to train. There he could work with fire and earth all he wanted, and not have to worry about setting trees on fire, or have to deal with the heat of the wastelands.
So he weaved strings of power together, starting from simple weaves of pure water, then spirit, then air. He felt a little disappointed at how weak and lethargic his air weave was after seeing Taylor's, but he supposed that was to be expected. The kid was so much better than he was, he definitely didn't struggle just to activate his powers.
Then came the more complex weaves. First was a combination of air and water, which sent a small stream of liquid high into the sky. Izzack smiled a little at that one. That had to be a new height record! Then came a simple water trap. He laid it by a hole in a nearby tree, and waited.
Soon enough, a squirrel came out of it's hole, and the trap was sprung. It wasn't violent, of course, Izzack could never do something like that for training, but a small jet of water struck the animal and it ran back into it's hiding place, somewhat wetter than before.
Izzack continued training for some time until he was too tired to continue. "Gotta...work on my...endurance." he breathed as he tried to remember which way to go to get back out of the forest. Well, he supposed it might be best to go the way that the young child went, seeing as he seemed to know his way around these woods better. For a bare moment as he walked, Izzack thought of taking the kid up on his offer. It would be nice to be able to converse with someone that didn't run away or attack him. He shook himself out of that thinking quickly, however. The kid probably just said that to be nice, he probably didn't actually want someone like Izzack intruding on his peaceful fishing time. Still, when he neared the clearing where he met Taylor. He stood by the trees for a while, just looking inward at the kid, trying not to make any noise. He wouldn't want to disturb the kid again, of course.

Taylor soon found his way back to the lake, he took up his fishing pole once again and sent the lure back onto the water. Though now he had new thoughts in his head, Just who was that Izzack guy. Why was he dressed like a reaper and what was his powers he was wanting to practice? But then again he had a feeling he may know the answer to that last question.. Magic... What kind though? He really hoped it had nothing to do with raising the dead.. That thought sent a shiver through his body. He would have to ask Fane if reapers where real and what kind of magic they used. But also that Izzack fellow seemed like a good person not the type to rise a army of the undead or so he hoped anyway.
Soon those thoughts and questions died down in the young boy's head as he got back into his fishing. His line with would start to tug and he would reel in the fish only to let it go. He did this for a while as he started to lose track of time. At first he did not notice Izzy as he was to focused on his fishing, but after a bit he felt that he was being watched. So he blinked as he then looked around and spotted Izzy, so he did come back. Taylor was not sure he was going to, so the young boy smiled and waved. " You can come closer if you want." Taylor said as he looked at Izzy then back at the lure in the water. Having a feeling Izzack was not one who liked to be looked at as he seemed to hide under his hood.
