Relationship: He mostly keeps to himself, though he seems to be friends with fellow teacher Minna Clover, a former student of his. Their friendship almost appears one sided on Minna's end, but he does genuinely enjoy her company. He sometimes has trouble seeing her as an equal rather than a student, and is completely oblivious to the fact that she's in love with him.
Personality:
Reiji has a stern and serious demeanor. He has little to no tolerance for pranks - at least in school. He has a reputation for being strict and rule-abiding, so most students dread having him as a teacher. He isn't cruel, however; he simply wants his students to succeed. He may seem a bit unapproachable at first, but if someone is willing to put in the work, Reiji can be surprisingly patient and thoughtful, and is more than willing to give them extra help. Outside of teaching he can still come off as intimidating, but in truth he's just not entirely sure how to react around people, especially as an android passing for a human. He's generally reserved overall, but always interested in learning new things himself.

High Speed Calculation & Reaction Time
Reiji is able to process mathematical data almost instantly. While he mostly uses this in teaching, he can also use this ability to quickly calculate the speed and movement of people or objects. With this, he can throw, catch or dodge objects with near perfect accuracy. This also assists him in close range combat if needed.
Strength & Durability
Reiji's body is made of a special alloy, making him very durable. He's immune to damage from bullets in most places and is able to withstand blunt force better than a human. The strong alloy also gives him greater strength than a human's, allowing him to rip doors off their hinges or slightly lift up and drag a car behind him.
Hero Alias: Nocturne
Reiji's alternate identity which he used to help fight threats when Minna was a magical girl. He dons a mask with a neutral expression (or maybe even no face at all) and wears a hat to conceal his hair.
Weaknesses:
A strong, focused electrical surge or shock could do any sort of amount of damage to Reiji, ranging from minor malfunctions to a complete shutdown. While he can also withstand more damage than a human can, a constant barrage or heavy stress on his body can also fatigue it and disrupt his operations.
History:
Originally part of the island robot sanctuary known as Elysium, Reiji sought to learn more beyond his duties of mathematics and calculations. He moved to Starlight City on the mainland, hoping to interact with the humans living there and understand them better. He was puzzled by how fragile and under equipped they seemed compared to his kind, finding it difficult to believe they were able to overpower his brethren in the past. Still, he desired to learn more and sought to immerse himself into human society.
At the suggestion of a friend, Reiji moved to Aster City where he became a math teacher at Aster High. One of his students, Minna Clover, eventually approached him, pointing out that many students in the class were having difficulties with his lessons. Surprised, he asked for her assistance on how he could improve his teaching. Minna was also surprised, as many students assumed he was cold and uncaring, but in truth he simply had no idea his methods were ineffective. After Minna helped him, Reiji's lessons improved substantially and the two would go on to become good friends.
A short while later, Reiji noticed Minna's grades beginning to slip. She began to behave strangely around him and always appeared to be tired. Though Minna gave him vague answers, Reiji couldn't help but worry. Investigating on his own time, he would quickly learn that Minna had recently acquired powers and was moonlighting as a magical girl. He didn't quite understand the entire situation, but he concluded that the sooner she eliminated the threat she was fighting against, the sooner she could remove her newfound stress. As a result, he secretly followed her in her quest in a guise of his own, lending assistance to her using his robotic strength.
After the threat was defeated, Reiji was content to see that Minna's grades and her health recovered, though she sometimes continued to behave strangely. This continued up until she graduated. Reiji didn't realize how much he valued their friendship until after the fact, though she gave him a small pin to remember her by.
Reiji continued to teach at the high school, and has been doing so for over a decade. He was surprised to learn that Minna herself had recently become a teacher and returned to Aster High to begin her own career. Reiji has been happy with the development, genuinely enjoying her company, though everyone but him seems to realize the massive crush she's had on him...

- The pin he received from Minna was a small golden clover, which he still wears on his suits every day.
- Reiji actually likes Minna back, but he doesn't realize his fondness for her is more than friendship.
- Even though he has a reputation as a strict teacher, he's popular with female students as the strong silent type.
- A running joke among students is that Reiji is actually a robot, though they're unaware that this joke is true.
- He'll seek out students who skip class if he has free time of his own during the school day.
- The above reason is why he wasn't in the auditorium on the day of the Templar attack (though he was at the school). He holds some degree of regret, wondering if he could have intervened if he was present.
