However he's very fast and very athletic, he also has very fast reflexes that allows him to be able to hit the tennis ball and with his fast thinking is able to decide where the ball needs to go in order to score a point thus also shows how well he's able to put a spin on the ball to make it go faster and ricochet a different direction after it hits the ground on the opponent's side, thus making it harder to hit but not impossible.

Lance is a calm and collected man who is known for his quick thinking which allows him to solve problems relatively fast and adapt to situations on the fly thus he's often called a genius but really he's not. The boy struggles when it comes to math, science, history and English classes but when it comes to gym class his athletic skills helps him excel so Gym class is his favorite part of school. When he's not at school, practicing or working his part time job at the mall he can be found reading random book under a tree just enjoying being by himself.
He's not shy or anything in fact he's easy to approach and talk to so he just sometimes likes to be alone in his own thoughts from time to time, perhaps thinking of ways to perfect his skills in tennis? Honestly it's hard to tell what's going on in Lance's head but it is obvious his mind is wired for tennis and it's basically mostly what he thinks about thus should show that he's not much of a fighter despite the fact he's so quick on his feet and reaction time is incredible despite the fact he has no powers but should a fight happen and he be in the middle he will try his best to keep people safe though he might get hurt in the process

History:
Lance has always been a fan of Tennis since he was a little kid and his Dad always took him to watch a game and he loved it, watching both sides running to hit the ball with everything they had and trying many different strategies to score a point on each other thrilled him. That was what made him want to be a tennis player some day and play with the big boys as well.
However one day life sucker punched him square in the face when a fire broke out somewhere in the city and his Dad had to go do his job as a firefighter even if he was off that day. The man just couldn't sit by while lives were in danger and Lance understood that completely and he felt proud of his dad for being so dedicated to his job like that and he believed he would come back just fine like always. However that was when the sucker punch came to play. A man wearing a black fancy suit came walking to the house carrying his Dad's burnt helmet.
The helmet was the only thing that remained in tact and his mother was the first to greet the man at the door while Lance just stayed at the window, frozen in terror as his mother spoke to the man and began crying. He didn't need to be told what happened because the moment she started crying was the moment he knew his father wasn't coming back and he wanted to go out and hug his mother and take the helmet from that man but his legs wouldn't move that day and that angered him the most.
Things have been tough on him ever since and to help his mom keep up with the bills he got himself a part time job at the mall, it doesn't pay much but at least it helps in the long run especially with the fact he saves up his money and gives all of it to his mother and in return she gives him at least twenty bucks to do whatever he wants with it which he saved that money to buy himself a tennis racket and tennis balls to join the tennis club in High School in away to honor his father's memory since they both loved watching Tennis together. What better way to make his father proud by becoming a Tennis player!
