Caleb is a happy fellow who enjoys helping others and heck he also loves to make people laugh if he can despite the fact he has more than one reason to be unhappy. He's mostly the type who doesn't let anything ruin his day and he always tries his best to avoid trouble to not expose the fact he's not exactly human so if he sees trouble he's always quick to call the police but if the police aren't able to get there fast enough then yeah he will maybe cause a little spark here and there to scare the attackers enough to make to make them run but that's about it. He absolutely refuses to fully interfere and use his full strength if he can avoid it. If not? well..crud at least he tried but of course it will take a lot to force him to transform in front of everyone.

History:
Back when Dragons used to be with humans a dragon fell in love with human thus they got married and thus started the one of many half human and half dragon family trees. Unfortunately though the Templars have been hunting these half blooded people so they have gone into hiding and lived among the humans pretending to be normal like them thus is how Caleb's family tree has survived for so long and they always stressed their children to NEVER use their powers or transform in public eyes less to get the attention of the dreaded Templars.
Caleb was no exception as his parents stressed about the same exact rules with him and he loved his parents so much that he understood perfectly well but despite the fact he tried his hardest to keep his powers secret the Templars found his family and attacked and of course his parents fought back and turned into humanoid dragons and tried to defeat the Templars but really they distracted them long enough for poor Caleb to escape and thankfully he didn't turn into dragon form just yet as his entire home exploded into flames.
Poor Caleb managed to escape into the ally way as he heard the police sirens and the sirens of the fire fighter. He wanted to run to the police and scream for help but he didn't in fear of the Templars still being around so he ran instead and hid in a abandoned building silently hoping his parents survived and woud follow his scent to find him. They never did come which confirmed that his parents died but he could only hope those Templars died in the explosion as well since it really was a massive explosion that may have shook the entire neighborhood.
Now Caleb wanders the dark allies trying to stay hidden but he does still go to school since he managed to in roll into the high school and he managed to get a job as a reporter on the weekends so now he's trying to get any story on the Templar menace he can get his hands on. He may not be able to fight them on his own but he might be able to get the entire city to fight against them and chase them out of the city..at least that is his hope.
