[Fox]

"I don't use poison!  And stop giving away my position!"  Fox called out, betraying his position worse than anything that the man he'd saved could have done.  As if he just realized what he did he clamped his hands over the mouth of his mask before ducking as one of the Dragon Slayers fired a crossbow bolt at Fox.

"On the roof!"  One of the Slayers shouted, and it seemed that they were quick to pick up on the fact that he wasn't human as they started to focus more ranged attacks at him.  The ones with melee weapons continued to attack Daniel though, attempting to overwhelm him with sheer force of numbers.  If Yuki and her robotic companions hadn't been there the fight would have easily gone for the Slayers.  Fox had a few more tricks, but they weren't likely to help either of his impromptu allies so much as himself.

Fox reached into a pocket and pulled out a smoke bomb.  He did not like having to keep ducking behind the ledge to avoid a crossbow bolt skewering him, and these guys were more accurate than Fox was comfortable with.  He took his bomb, ripped the cord out to ignite it, and tossed it down into the alley where it burst after a moment to create a large cloud of white smoke which engulfed the Slayers as well as the man in their midst.  At least Daniel could swing his own weapon around without fear of hitting an ally and the Slayers had to be more careful now, also the hail of bolts coming his way was greatly lessened and less accurate.  Fox took that moment to dash to a new position sliding down a drainpipe to land near Yuki.

"Hi there!  You're one of the good guys right?"  Fox asked, keeping his mask on as he spoke.

[Yuki]

Yuki watched from her somewhat hiding spot as Lucky, Sunny and Silver worked to fight the slayers. And now thanks to the appearance of a non human the slayers seemed to have gotten more riled up. Though luckily the non human was not on the high roof top Silver had been dropping some of their weapons. Though now was time for a change of strategy." Silver! Time to start slicing and dicing! Break the weapons and their armor if you can!" " Yuki said with her powers to her robots. Silver heard the command loud and clear, he nodded as he then started to swoop down again, as he did blades started to form on his wings. He then started to spin, as he went through the group of slayers. Breaking what weapons he could and heavily damaging their armor. As Yuki designed his wing blades to be able to cut though most metal. And of course he cut skin so blood splattered around on the ground.


Yuki winced at the sight of the blood, well this was a battle so blood was to be expected.. Though she got her greater shock when the non human suddenly came down next to her. Yuki gave a started yelp. She quickly moved back pointing her gun at what she could see now looked like a kitsune. Was this the ninja that Daniel was yelling at? Must be, Yuki sighed in relief lowering her gun. " Don't sneak up on me I could have shot you! Not that it would have killed you but still!" Yuki said in annoyed whisper. Though there was not much time to talk. Yuki looked back at the battle and saw that Sunny was in trouble. three slayers had cornered her, " Lucky, Sunny needs you" Yuki said in a whisper, though she had mostly used her powers to talk to him. Lucky then rushed one of the slayers jumping up and kicking his head. Making the man lose his balance. And that was all Sunny needed.

She then jumped up on the mans head, when jumping off she made sure his face met the wall. " Took you long enough!" Sunny said rather crossly. Lucky just rolled his eyes, " Oh shut up!" Lucky said as he then shot at the other two stunning them. Yuki smiled glad Lucky got there in time. And Silver seemed to be doing good, his speed was making it difficult for the slayers to land a hit on him. Lucky and Sunny then started to work together to take down the slayers.

[The Izzack]

While the fact that he was rather badly outnumbered should have worried Daniel. It should have worried him quite badly. However, despite a look on concentration taking over what moments before was a look of pure joy on his face, he didn't seem to be too affected. That look of childish glee returned rather quickly, however, as soon as the smoke bomb went off.

"Woah! I gotta ask, is this scary time smoke, or dancing time smoke?" he called out between heavy swings which were starting to swing down a little lower than before, perhaps from fatigue. "Either way, I'm really excited for this!" he laughed as the smoke engulfed him, and immediately afterwards his opponents.

Suddenly, his strikes began aiming high. His feint worked on one of the men, who likely believed that the big dumb oaf was getting worn down by superior tactics. The unlucky fellow took a rather nasty blow to the head, knocking him out cold. The others, though, weren't quite as fooled. He managed to knock the blade out of the hands of one, but otherwise, no real damage was done.

As it skid across the ground, the sword sent up a few sparks, barely visible through the thick smoke. "Guess it's a dance smoke then!" Daniel said as he continued with his favorite dance move, 'The Swing'.

[Fox]

Fox held his hands up, the fur and claws on them easily visible even if he was wearing a mask and cloak.

"Sorry!  Sorry!  Didn't mean to startle you!"  Fox said with some surprise in his voice when Yuki pointed her gun at him.  Thankfully she was one of the good guys and didn't fire on him, and he also learned that she preferred non-lethal means to taking down foes.  That was good and reaffirmed his belief that she was good.  The big man in the smoke cloud he was less sure about...

"Uh... is that guy in there gonna be okay?  I sort of thought the smoke would help him get away but..."  Fox's ears twitched under his hood as he listened to the battle still going on,  "It doesn't really sound like he's even trying to get away." 

Fox wasn't sure what to do now.  While the smoke messed up the aim of the Slayers stuck in it, it also meant he couldn't make any ranged attacks of his own for fear of hitting someone who was potentially a good guy.  The fellow was fighting Slayers after all, so he couldn't be bad right?  Fox didn't want to hurt him on accident with a misplaced shuriken.  Well there was something else he could do though...

Fox placed his hands on the ground and channeled his nature magic into the ground, using that to sense out the Slayers in the smoke.  Plants began to burst out from the ground, right through the concrete, to ensnare the Slayers still standing.  The confused yells coming from the smokescreen said that his plan was working though.

"Blasted witchcraft!  Magical fiend!"  And other such curses rained down on Fox from the Slayers he managed to snare, making Fox visibly flinch.  He still didn't understand why people could hate him simply for being a magical being.

[Yuki]

When the plants suddenly started to grow Lucky and Sunny both moved out of the way. Rather shocked as they did not expect it. But it was also a good thing as now most of the slayers where tied up. Though some that had not been caught fled. Sunny started look like she was going to chase them down but Lucky stopped her, " No let them go.. We have more then a hand full trapped here. Who did it I don't know." Lucky said looking around, Sunny sighed. "Aww phooey I wanted to play some more.. Oh well." She said as the smoke started to lift. Yuki shrugged at the ninja's question, "I have no idea.. But to me it seems like he likes to fight.. So I'm sure he can handle himself.. And nice going with the plants." Yuki said with smile, though soon frowned at what the slayers where saying as her anger started to boil. " If anyone are the fiends its you! This town was peaceful, humans, non humans, people with magic and magic beings got along peacefully. If anyone is a danger to this place its your group!" Yuki said as she walked into view. Lucky, Sunny and Silver all came to her sitting at her feet. " Yeah you tell them Yuki!" Sunny said laughing a little. Yuki stared down the slayers showing no fear. But deep down she was terrified, If she did not have Lucky, Sunny and Silver she would most likely never so this kind of thing.

[The Izzack]

Had it not been for the smoke clearing, Daniel would have kept swinging at the helpless slayers. As it was, he barely had time to halt a rather brutal strike before it hit. "W-woah now! Hey ninja, is this your doing? Can't be Yukamania. Unless...hey, lady, you got plant powers now?" he called out, breathing a little heavily from his little 'workout'.

"Well, whoever it was, why did you go and do that? Things were just gettin' good! Ah well, it was fun while it last-oh hey! I forgot about this!" Daniel exclaimed, shifting his attention at breakneck speeds. It would appear that the sword he had so violently smacked out of the now captive man's hands was the current object he was focusing on. "Anyone want this thing? 'Cause if not, I'm taking it! Looks cool!" he said, looking over the thing. The hilt wasn't in great shape, but whatever, nothing he couldn't get fixed, if he cared to do so!

"Also, Yuki, can I just ask, that out of all your...pets, I guess? Out of all of them, how come only your cat speaks sense? I mean, come on!" As he shouted out that question, he made it a point to give a thumbs up to the cat. To show his approval, of course, and certainly not because he secretly hoped that the cat would somehow use mechanical magic to temporarily grow an opposable thumb to give him a thumbs up in return. That was definitely not the reason.

[Fox]

"It's just some nature magic..."  Fox said a bit embarrassed at the praise for the plant snares, though he was happy to hear it too.  His emotions leaked into the magic, causing the vines to start blooming with colorful flowers.  It was also nice to hear someone defend him from the words the Slayers were hurling at him.  Even so he kept Yuki between the Slayers and himself as they seemed to have an unnatural hatred toward him for no reason that he could understand.

When the man took a sword as a sort of trophy Fox shook his head.  "I don't think I could even lift that thing, let alone swing it."

As far as Fox was concerned the man could take the sword and whatever else he wanted from the Slayers.

"So why were you two fighting the Dragon Slayers?  You both look human enough to me... were they after you're talking friends here?"  Fox asked, indicating Yuki's robot companions.  He hadn't noticed that they were robots, thinking them merely talking animals.

[Yuki]

The slayers still where saying vulgar words though Yuki ignored them. They had done what was needed now all they needed where the police to arrive, though when Daniel spoke asking about her robots she just looked over at him shaking her head. It seemed he thought they where programmed. And the little ninja thought the slayers where after her friends. "No they where not after my friends. I was signaled that the slayers where attacking some magical beings, so I made my way over here with Lucky and Silver and Sunny showed up soon after." Yuki said choosing to address the little ninja first as her answer to Daniel would tell the little ninja what her friends really where. " Its just how they developed they may be robots but they can think for themselves and learn just like you and me. I did not program them in anyway. Don't ask how it happened because I really don't know myself.. But I like it this way. " Yuki said with a smile as she looked at Lucky, Sunny and Silver. The tree of them smiled and nodded to Yuki, Though Sunny then walked over to the little ninja and started to walk circles around him. Mainly just to get a better look at him. "Hmm I thought you where a kitsine.. Anyway I'm Sunny! Nice to meet ya!" She said as she then stopped in front of Fox and held her paw out for a shake.


She then wondered over to Daniel sitting down in front of him, she then held up her paw and stared at it as if thinking and then some how she made a "thumps up" with her paw. "hehe! I think your cool as well dude!!" Sunny said as she laughed a little. Lucky rolled his eyes and shook his head," I'm Lucky nice to meet you." Was all the little robot dog was going to say. Silver then bowed, "You may call me Silver.. Its a pleasure to meet you." The robot hawk said in a low toned voice making him sound a lot older then Sunny and Lucky even though he is just the 2nd oldest in the line.


Soon some clapping could be heard, a older woman with long blonde hair and green eyes and warm gentle smile came into the area, "I must say all six of you have done a wonderful job here. My name is Kaleo, I'm a privet detective. I was in my office when I got word of a attack. Sorry I could not have been here sooner. Though I do suggest you leave before more law enforcement arrive. I'm sure you don't need the hassle of police questioning." Kaleo suggested as she held up her badge so they could see it. Though she wondered if they would leave. If not well she gave them a heads up anyway.

[The Izzack]

As it was, Daniel wasn't paying as much attention as he should have to the conversation. Instead, he was busy swinging around his new little trinket. That wasn't to say that he was completely ignoring the outside world. Only mostly. "I hopped in because Yuki, my lord and master, commanded me to do so. As a humble vassal, I had no choice to obey!" he said. Perhaps he was getting a bit too into the little persona he was creating for this blade. "Oh, and also it looked like fun. By the way, thanks hawk guy for the entrance advice!" he called out, not quite catching Silver's name.

When Sunny came up, however, Daniel turned his erratic attention onto her completely. Man, this was a cool cat! Maybe the Yukester was right. There's no way a nerd like her could create something so rad! "I must say, it feels pretty awesome to get a compliment from a Fonzie feline! Put 'er there!" he said with a wide grin as he extended his fist. Either the cat would figure it out like it did the thumbs up, or this was going to be amusing. Either way, Daniel had already phased out everybody except for him and the cat. Alright, he did notice the newcomer, and the fact that she was talking about...leaving? Why would they want to leave? Eh, probably not worth worrying about.

[Fox]

Fox watched as the kitty walked circles around him a few times.  He'd always liked cats, and this one was friendly too.  Fox leaned down and shook the offered paw before straightening back up as Sunny went to give Daniel a thumbs up somehow.

"Darn, how did Sunny know I'm a kitsune?  I'm wearing a mask and everything."  Fox sounded a little upset that someone saw through his disguise so easily.  Of course whenever he moved one could easily see his furry feet and his tails sticking out from under his cloak, not to mention his obviously inhuman hands with their fur and claws.  The fact that he was wearing a mask that was literally a fox face wasn't helping him out either, but he'd liked the mask and it fit his face well.

When Kaleo showed up Fox turned his attention toward her.  He nodded as she mentioned getting away before the actual police showed up.  Fox really didn't want to deal with answering a bunch of questions he likely wasn't going to understand... and he had stuck that one Slayer's hand with a shuriken and made the fellow bleed.  That probably was bad too.  As if realizing that Fox ran over to the captured Slayers and pulled his shuriken out of the unconscious fellow's hand.  He also spotted a few coins on the ground while he was over there and eagerly snatched those up as well, stuffing them into one of his many pockets.  If the big guy could take a sword then Fox figured it was only fair that he get to take a few shinies for his trouble.

"It was nice meeting you all, but I think I'd rather not deal with the police.  Bye bye!"  Fox said cheerfully with a wave.  That done he jumped off one wall toward the other in the alley, bouncing between the walls until he could grab the ledge of a roof.  Once he was up there he pulled himself up, turned to wave at everyone below, and then ran away.  He hadn't even told anyone his name, the thought slipping his mind really.

[Yuki]

Yuki raised a eye brow when the little ninja was shocked that Sunny knew what he was. Even under that outfit it was hard to feel the eyes of a robot. But before she could say anything another person showed up. Yuki tensed up a little as the woman spoke and was a little uneasy about her even when she showed her badge. This could be a slayer for she knew trying to get her comrades back. Yuki looked at Lucky who heard her thoughts. He then started looking up this Kaleo and quickly saw she was saying the truth. So he nodded the ok to Yuki. She then relaxed and nodded when the woman was finish speaking. Yeah it would be best to go... No need for unwanted attention.. " Right thanks... Come on guys." Yuki said as she then started to run out of the area. Lucky and Silver followed right away but Sunny did not. She was looking at Daniel's held out fist trying to figure out what that meant. She then remembered watching people who a similar thing where they bumped their fists together for some reason. "Ooh! This is a fist bump right? A greeting humans do sometimes right?" Sunny said when she figured it out. She then laughed a little as she held up her paw and bumped Daniel's hand with it. " Well I better go now. Hope to see you again!" Sunny said as she then ran off to follow Yuki and the others.


Kaleo watched as the hero's left, but so far one man staying. Well if he wanted to stay that was his business she could not force him to leave. She then looked at the tied up slayers with a cold glare, " Hello there dears.... I do hope your little group gets beaten by lovely hero's like those kids." She said as she folded her arms across her chest. And soon was the sound of police cars came. They where soon there and started to cut down the tied up slayers and arrest them. Kaleo asked to go with them getting into one of the police cars and they started to make their way to the police station.

[The Izzack]

"Rad! See ya, computer cat! Try to get your owner to loosen up a little, eh!?" Daniel called out as the group left. It was only then that he really pay any attention to the...detective? Eh, whatever.

As he stood up straight, he couldn't help but notice that she didn't look all too pleased. Probably just because he was still hanging around. "My my! No need to throw a fit, lady! I'm heading out!" he smiled. With that, he turned back to his reward. It was a bit too cumbersome to just carry it around with him. Well, that, and the police might not enjoy seeing him lugging a weapon around. He didn't really have a scabbard, eith-wait a minute.

The look on Daniel's face spoke his thoughts so well that he didn't even need to exclaim "I'm a genius!", though of course he did so anyway. With next to no effort, he set his metal case down on the ground, and popped it open. Then, it was a simple matter of slamming the sword in.

No...not that way, maybe...ah! There!

"Alright, mad lady! I'm heading out! Oh! Hi police! You'll be seeing me around a lot more from now on! I am a mighty hero after all! Well, see ya!" Daniel stayed a little while longer, so he could get a suitably heroic pose before he left. He left the scene the same way he came in, by air. It took a little bit to compensate for the added weight, but he got the hang of it quickly enough. In next to no time, he was gone, maybe back to the pizza place, maybe to wherever he felt like going, which would be anywhere instead of back to work.

[Fox]

The police were not the only ones to learn of the disturbance with the Dragon Slayers.  This group sought it's own justice against the Dragon Slayers and saw no need for there to be any bother with a trail when it was so obvious that the defendants would be guilty.  Then again all humans were guilty.

As the police convey traveled there was a sudden explosion in front of the lead squad car, causing them to slam on the brakes.  The prisoner transports and other squad cars had to stop as well to keep from crashing into their comrade.  As soon as they came to a stop there was another explosion at the rear of the convoy, trapping them neatly.  The police thought it was more of the Dragon Slayers making a bid to free their comrades, yet that was quickly proven false as something slammed into the middle transport to tear the vehicle in half.

Emerging from the flames of the explosions as well as the now destroyed transport the panicking police could see figures moving.  Whatever they were the flames didn't bother them.  Another thing that was made readily apparent was that these things were not human.  Hunched figures crawled on all fours or walked on two legs with disturbing jerking motions.  Their bodies were covered in black and white, their heads shielded by odd white masks that made their inhuman eyes all the more oppressive.  A weird red device wrapped around their neck and shoulders, connecting to something on their back and each had a yin-yang symbol emblazoned on their chest armor.  Long metal claws extended from their hands, some dragging the blades across the ground to bring sparks up.



The police, to their credit, reacted quickly to the situation thanks to their training.  They opened fire on the things, not bothering with warnings as these things had already killed the police driving the prisoner transport and were obviously hostile.  As soon as the police fired on them the things started to move inhumanly fast, running about on all fours like wild beasts before leaping at the police to rend them apart with claws.  Some of the strange attackers lifted their arms, small machine guns sprouting from the top of their wrists to mow down police that were too far away for claws to reach.  There were over three dozen of the attackers and their pincher like attack backed by the element of surprise had them slaughtering everything in the area.  The squad cars were riddled with bullets and slashed by claws, the police themselves suffering the same fates.  The Dragon Slayers got the worst of it all, being ripped apart with apparent glee by the creatures until each and every one of the Dragon Slayers the police had with them were themselves slain with not even a chance to defend themselves.  Once the last Dragon Slayer was cut down the creatures seemed to realize that their mission was finished and ran away in all directions leaving nothing but corpses, burning wreckage, and the strange drop pods they'd arrived in.  They left almost as swiftly as they'd come and there seemed to be only one survivor of the brutal attack.

[Yuki]

It had happened all so fast, Kaleo had no real time to react. There was a huge explosion and after that everything went black, when she awoke there was fire almost everywhere and the smell of blood and burning flesh. Her eye sight was blurry and her head was throbbing. She then shook her head as her eye site slowly got better. Only to see the area was littered with corpses of the police she had just been with. Kaleo's eyes grew wide as she tried to move. But a sharp pain ran through her body. Kaleo gasped in pain "Oww.... Ugh I must be more injured then I thought.. Oh dear..." " Kaleo said as she then started to see the spirits of the men and woman who had just died. Their screams and crying and begging this not to be true. Kaleo's heart went out to them. But there was nothing she could do for them right now. Right now she had to try to get up. No matter how much pain she was in.


There was large piece of metal over her leaning on the wall, if it where not for the wall she would have been crushed. Kaleo then tried to push it so she could get up. Once again a surge of pain went though her body but she ignored it. She had to push her way though this. Grunting and wincing in pain she was able to push it off. Then slowly she tried to stand up. " Kaleo!! Thank god you are alight!called out a voice Kaleo knew all to well. "Zosima..."" Kaleo said with a smile as she started to fall over. But Zosima caught her and helped her stand up. " You idiot! You are always getting into trouble needlessly! Now come on lets get you to the hospital and out of here before the spirits of the dead start harassing you.."Zosima said as she started to slowly walk. Kaleo just gave a small chuckle and let her sister lead the way. Though to anyone who may be watching It must look odd for someone wearing a wolf mask and a ninja like outfit helping her. But then again they would most likely think she was a hero that happened to be near by. Soon The two of them made it to the hospital and Kaleo was checked in and started to get worked on by the hospital staff.

[Fox]

The Shadow Claws dispersed, going into hiding in their master's safehouses or into the sewers and other hideaways.  Once they were hidden from prying eyes one flipped it's wrist open, revealing a communication device built into it's body.  The device flickered to life to reveal a crimson armored figure with golden eyes.

"Master, the attack was a success.  All the Dragon Slayers were eliminated as well as all registered police officers escorting them."  The Shadow Claw stated in a hissing, gravely voice more suited to a corpse than a robot.  The report explained why there had actually been a survivor, they'd been after the police and Slayers.  Kaleo was a private investigator and thus not an official part of the police force, at least not to the files the Shadow Claws had access to.

"Excellent work.  Proceed as usual."  The crimson figure said, obviously pleased with the mission results.  He ended the communication and turned his attention to other things.

"Good riddance to bad rubbish.  Too bad the peons never have any useful information."  He spoke to himself as he brought up a display, marking off a small section of the city.  The entire city seemed to be color coded on the display, though what the colors meant only he knew.  Part of the city that was grey started to turn red before he switched the display off, seemingly satisfied by what he'd seen.

"Foolish Slayers.  You've come straight into my domain without realizing it.  Hahaha, this city will become your tomb."
