The last thing Casey had expected to do today was talk about his personal demons to some random child he saved in an alleyway. It's not the weirdest thing that's happened, but it was... definitely up there. While there was a sense of relief of being able to share his experiences with someone else, unloading those memories had caused some paranoia to resurface in Casey. In the past, he'd been one of the doctor's many patients, and even when Casey managed to escape, he imagined his disappearance hadn't mattered at all. Hell, he had no doubt that the man's number of patients had grown since he left, and... well, that's what got him paranoid. Anyone could've been under the doctor's influence. Anyone. The thought unnerved him. Casey shook his head and pushed said thought down. He'd already been free for a few years at this point. If the doctor did give two sh*ts about him, Casey would've known. He would've been dealing with people who had the same fanatical devotion that he once had, but thankfully, he hadn't. He wasn't important enough to warrant sending people after him. It didn't stop him from pulling his hood up and looking over his shoulder on his long trek home. He eventually ended up at Aster City's seaside docks. This particular area was a bit quiet and remote with nothing but concrete, loading docks and warehouses. It was a perfect place for the sketchier types to hang out. Casey was sure that there'd been some shady happenings going on in the area, but so long as it didn't involve his turf, he didn't really care. When it became clear which warehouse he was planning to enter, he couldn't help but stop. The paranoia came back. He'd been taking the back roads and weaving through alleys the entire time he made his way here, but he still felt like he'd been followed. He looked around as casually as he could, hoping to hide his latent fear from whoever may have been watching. He saw nothing. He heard nothing. Casey sighed. He entered the warehouse. He really needed to clear his head.

And what better way to clear your head than nearly having it knocked clean off by two of your closest friends?
"THINK FAST!"
"F%K!"
Casey had little time to react as the pair attacked him. Ricky O'Hara had charged straight at him, arm stretched out for a lariat. His brother in arms (and name), Riki Ohara, did the same, getting close enough to try and leg sweep Casey from behind. Yet, even with his thoughts clouded, Casey dodged. He'd dove forward, avoiding both of their strikes. He rolled onto the ground and quickly used the momentum to get back to his feet.
"What the f#$k did I tell y'all about doin' that?!" He barked at them. The duo recovered from their own failed strikes, with Riki helping Ricky up off the floor.
"You didn't say not to, Boss!" Ricky protested.
"Yeah!" Riki agreed, folding his arms. "You just said exactly what you said last time."
"Yeah! You were like, "What the f#$k did I tell y'all about doin' that?!" Ricky mimicked Casey's accent, though it was far more exaggerated.
"Yeah, Boss. Exact words." Riki nodded.
"Well I'm tellin' ya now, don't do that sh*t again!" He huffed, storming off. A couple of scattered chuckles sounded off through a fairly scarce crowd of men, most lounging about or sparing with each other; it was obvious most people who frequented the place simply hadn't come in yet. Casey grumbled as he seated himself at an old mahogany counter, glancing at the man who stood behind it. "...Hey, Switch."
"You know they're gonna find a loophole in that," The man pointed out, adjusting his headband.
"'Course they are. S'what they do," Casey sighed. "I get keepin' me on my toes n' sh*t, but for chrissake..." He leaned forward, propping his elbows up on the counter. His voice lowered in dry realization. "...And I'm guessin' Ricky put ya on bar duty just for that stunt."
Switch smiled. "That'd be correct."
"Figured." Casey slumped forward. " Look, just... gimme a shot of whatever." He pressed a hand to his temple, glancing up at Switch. "I need a f#%kin' drink."
"This early?" Switch raised a brow with a smile. It was more of idle conversation than an actual question as he poured the other man a drink. "Run into another gang or something?"
"Mmh." Casey downed the glass pretty quick. "Just some rubbery bastard 'n two other guys," he grunted. "Trio of cowards, nothin' more." Casey rolled his eyes. "F#$kers were pickin' on a kid."
"Oh?"
Ricky had jogged up by this point. "What was that about you picking on children?" He teased, feigning misunderstanding. Ricky then smiled, patting Switch on the shoulder before swapping places with him. He felt most at home behind the counter as the gang's bartender. He appreciated that Switch manned the bar, but in the end, it was Ricky's place. And the sooner Switch was out, the less chance of his workstation being... ruined.
"C'mon, Boss! Tell me all about it!" Ricky laughed as he settled in, eager to hear the actual story. Riki had followed, taking a seat beside Casey.
"You know I don't do that sh*t," Casey grumbled.
"Beating up kids? Pfft, yeah, not anymore you don't," Riki chuckled, lightly punching him on the shoulder.
"I can't believe you stole from a literal baby!" Ricky added another lie with a laugh. "Did he at least have anything good?"
"...No." Casey answered flatly, then quickly grew indignant. "Besides, I wasn't the one muggin' anyone!"
"Are you saying..." Riki leaned over to him. "You... helped someone? Out of the goodness of your heart?" He beamed. Casey shoved a palm onto Riki's face, pushing him away before cracking a dumb grin of his own. As much as the OHaras enjoyed to poke and prod at Casey, he was accustomed to it. He was more like a straight man to their never ending comedy routine; he knew what to expect.
"Aww," Switch chuckled, picking up on what Riki was getting at. "I didn't know you were a hero, Calhoun." He smiled, leaning back against the bar counter. Switch was nowhere near as excitable as the OHaras, but that was the worst part: even when teasing, he always sounded genuine. Casey scoffed.
"You and I both know I'll never be like one of them."

Sunny was a little surprised Casey had not noticed he had been followed, the poor guy must have a lot on his mind. Sunny stayed to the shadows till they came to warehouse, soo this is where he stayed huh? When Casey walked in Sunny followed after and was quick to find a spot to hide just to see Casey get randomly attacked by she was guessing his buddies. The fight was amusing she could but snicker a bit as she watched. The battle was short lived and Casey yelled at them to not do that again but she could tell by their faces they where not gonna listen. They then went on to talk about what happened not to long go. Ahh so a rubbery thug picked on Taylor huh? She would have to track the guy down later and mess with him a bit, hehe. Sunny then came out of her hiding spot sitting down watching them, "I wonder how long it will take for them to spot me.. Heheh.." Sunny giggled to herself.

"I mean, I guess from a technical standpoint..." Riki folded his arms in thought. "I agree that Boss doesn't exactly scream "hero." He rubbed his chin thoughtfully. "Not to say you don't do good things for us, Boss. It's just, honestly, how many of those heroes are known gang leaders?"
"And how many gang members are private tutors?" Casey snarked. "Ya f#$kin' nerd," he added, giving Riki another light shove. He retaliated in kind, playfully punching Casey in the shoulder again.
"Hey! That's not fair!" Ricky objected, slamming his palms on the counter. "Switch is a huge nerd, too!"
Casey paused, looking over to consider Switch's role. "But he's like... doctor nerd."
"Only out of necessity." Switch laughed. "It's practical, I think, and that's the difference between me and Riki."
"Excuse you," Riki answered indignantly. "Learning is plenty practical." He huffed. Casey snickered and muttered another "heh, nerd."
"Oh... I'm not arguing that." He sat down. "I meant more like... its not particularly practical for a fight club," Switch explained.
Riki paused. "...Yeah okay fair." He conceded with a shrug.
As the group held their conversation, Omega found himself cornered by two... fans of his? They seemed to restrain themselves from gushing over how he carried himself, and truth be told, he wasn't sure how to feel. It was flattering, sure, but a bit... strange. They seemed to try and play themselves up as cultists who bore an offering for their dark ruler, procuring a small, silver bangle. It was small, but they claimed to have obtained it from some sort of rabbit fertility goddess, hoping to gift it to him. Omega thought their acting was amateur at most, but he appreciated the gesture. Once they left, he'd noticed his comrades at the bar and made his way over to them.
"Brethren." Omega uttered as he approached. ”The accursed light has not yet eliminated the shadows that bind us to this realm. How has Father Time treated The End's allies?"
"Hey Omega." Casey greeted him casually, not missing a beat. "The day’s treatin’ us just fine."
"Yeah! The Boss beat up a child!" Ricky lied again.
"I did not."
"Yeah, no. He's switching careers to hero now," Riki "corrected." Omega raised a brow in interest.
"Oh...? Then perhaps, the wielder of the Azure Flare would desire to do battle the Harbinger of the End of All Things?" He raised an arm, motioning to their fighting ring across the way. "If the Tribe of Demon Fire's Chief is to prosper in his new role as Champion of Stars, he must hone his skills against one of the greatest evils of mankind," Omega explained with a wicked grin. Casey didn't seem too fazed by it, however; not because Omega didn't scare him, but because he was simply used to him.
"Uh... Again, I ain’t no hero, so don't call me one, but I’d be down to fight you some time.” He looked to the empty shot glass in hand, idly twirling it in his fingers. "Just... not right now. I'm thinkin'.”
"About what?"
Casey froze. "...Uh."
He'd never been happier to suddenly hear Alpha call out to them.
"There's a cat here!" The tall man bellowed, pointing to Sunny as if he'd made some groundbreaking discovery. It was a well known fact that Alpha wasn't exactly a well liked member of the group. Much to the annoyance of Casey and his inner circle, he'd made the minimum requirements to officially join them, but he had a habit of trying far too hard and lording himself over other grunts like he was the best. Defeating him in a fight was effortless for the inner circle and it often got him to shut up for a while, but never for too long. Casey and his friends only stared at him in silence.
"Okay?" His boss raised a brow expectantly. "And...?"

Sunny sat there listening to everything being said, she had to keep surpassing giggles. These guys where funny! That guy with the mop though was just hilarious, hmm it seemed like no one was going to take notice of her though.. That was a boring thought.. But eh unless she spoke she looked like a normal cat so people normally paid her no mind anyway.. But Casey should at least recognize her they just met and spoke just a little bit a ago! What ever was eating him really was getting to the poor guy. Oh well she would just stay where she was an-
"There's a cat here!" Someone shouted
That caught even Sunny by surprise and she jumped a little and casted a glare at the loud mouth.
"Oooh you spotted me , wanna cookie or something?" Sunny said with a eye roll.

"Oh sh*t-" The man backed off slightly, then called back to the others again. "It can talk!"
"Hm..." Omega smirked to himself. "Perhaps the creature is a familiar of some sort..."
"Oooh, your hero work already attracting strange things, eh Boss?" Ricky grinned, slightly jabbing Casey, though he paid him no mind.
"Talking... cat?" Casey glanced back, squinting at the feline. "...Oh. That's, uh... Sunny."
"You know it?!"
"You named it?!"
"Yes! No!" He answered in order. "She knows that kid I helped out, that's all," he grunted, folding his arms. What was she doing here, anyway? Did... she follow him all the way back...? Is that why he felt like someone was watching him the entire way home?
"Uh. I can kick it," Alpha offered, pulling Casey out of his thoughts. He and the inner circle objected with various noises of annoyance and discomfort.
"What the hell? No!"
"...Dude, no."
"Why?"
"...What's wrong with you?"
"Pathetic."
"Geez!" Alpha growled, getting defensive. "You don't know, it might have... fleas or something!"
Switch snerked. "It didn't stop Calhoun from letting you join."
"OOOHHHHHHH~!"

Sunny's ear twitched when Alpha asked if he could kick her, she then glared at him even more. What was with this punk? She then stood up never taking her eyes off Alpha. She heard the others disproval she looked over at them giving a nod of approval then looked back at Alpha with a mischievous look. " Ho ho ho.... I dare ya... Try and kick me and I will get ya where the sun don't shine you little punk! " Sunny said with a grin. She was not scared at all of the guy, she has had her fair share of fights she knew how to handle herself just fine.

"S-Shut up!" Alpha had stammered at Switch and the OHaras. Oooh, he hated them. He couldn't understand how Calhoun had a bunch of dweebs in his inner circle. If it were up to Alpha and he was in charge, he'd do away with all of their dumb rules! Why'd they have to fight fair and all of this crap? Who cared about competing over who fought best? They were a gang! They should've been out beating up other gangs and taking what they wanted, but nooo, all they wanted to do was punch each other in the face. It was dumb. They were dumb. Too dumb to realize what a genius he was.
"Ho ho ho.... I dare ya... Try and kick me and I will get ya where the sun don't shine you little punk!"
"What'd you say?!" Alpha grit his teeth, turning back to Sunny. He was so annoyed with the so called "Boss" and his cronies mocking him that He hadn't quite heard that second part. Instead, he'd already stepped forward mid sentence and readied his leg in a soccer kick at the feline, oblivious to the fate that awaited him.
Casey sighed, though he watched in amusement. "...This ain't gonna end well."

Sunny smirked when Alpha was easily goaded and came in for the attack recklessly clearly underestimating her. She decided to fake him out at first, she ran in for a attack just to get him to start the kick then jumped back, when he was off balanced from the missed kick she moved in first she tackled him hard the chest to further unbalance him Then she quickly headed butted him in the groin. Jumping back again she then ran around to Alpha's back side and then head butted him in the butt. All this would really hurt seeing she had a metal body under her fur.
" Still wanna play? I'm just getting warmed up." Sunny said with smirk.

"Ouughhhhh...!" Alpha crumpled over from the groin attack before getting knocked on his face. His universal cry of male distress caused even the group at the bar to collectively flinch for a second before they descended into jeers and laughter.
"Come to think of it," Casey snorted in between a laugh. "That kid said the cat was a robot..."
"Oh, now you say it!"
"The End's assessment yielded the same result," Omega snarked. "The Creature of Nine Lives may as well be an Immortal One."
"Pfft. Kid said she helped him stop a bank robbery or somethin', so you might not be too far off," He snickered again. "Who knows what else she's capable of?"
Ricky paused to consider the question. He then cupped his hands over his mouth and called out. "Heeeey, kitty! You should claw his wiener off!" He could barely hold his voice steady, laughing before Casey shoved him for it. He may not have liked Alpha, but Casey wasn't too interested in finding out whether or not Sunny really was capable of such a feat.
"Please don't," Switch added immediately after, echoing his leader's thoughts. "Doctor or not, I am not obligated to deal with that aftermath."
"Grgh..." Alpha groaned, curled up on the floor in a fetal position. "S-Stupid... cat...!" He gurgled, trying to wiggle away from Sunny.
"All right, all right," Casey spoke up, getting off his stool. "Sunny, was it? Don't go clawin' nothin' off, ya hear?"

Sunny stayed in a fighting type stance as she stared at Alpha and smiled when it seemed he had perhaps somewhat learned his lesson. Her eyes perked up when she heard the guy's cheers and laugher. Sunny looked over at them with a smile, well she was happy to entertain. She then looked back at Alpha, " Let that be a lesson to ya.. A lesson of what I don't know. " Sunny said with a giggle.
Her ears then twitched when Ricky called out for her to claw Alpha's wiener off. Her ears went flat on her head in disgust but before she could say anything Casey felt the need to tell her not to do that. "Of course not! Besides the claws only come out for real threats to ether me, my friends or my creator. " Sunny said with huff as she gave a side eye look at Ricky for even suggesting such a thing.

Ricky simply lifted his arms and shoulders in a shrug, mouthing "it was a joke!" as Riki swatted him.
"And that's how ya helped that kid out, huh...? Well, that's nice of ya," Casey mused as he approached her. "Now, uh... If ya don't mind me askin'..." Casey's mouth curled into a small frown as he shoved his hands into his pockets. "Who's yer creator and why'd ya follow me here? There ain't much to see," he looked aside at the warehouse as a whole.
In spite of what Casey said, anyone could see it was a lie. The place had been gradually furnished with makeshift and mismatching furniture over what was probably a decade. The bar was where his closest friends were all gathered around. Plenty tables and stools and old wire spools were set up with maybe a few old sofas on the sides. The main center of attention seemed to be a full on fighting ring, set up exactly where everyone could see what was going on in it at all times.
There also seemed to be an old trailer parked in the back of the warehouse, tucked away from most of the action; it was where Casey himself lived, though he wasn't about to point that out. There was plenty more to see, but the bar and ring were what drew the eyes the most. Honestly, the whole thing looked so much like an actual establishment that one could forget that it was a warehouse to begin with.
Casey shrugged. "I mean... do ya want more help or somethin'? Sure, I helped out yer friend, but don't expect it to become a regular thing."

Sunny watched as Casey came over to her musing about how she may have helped Taylor at the bank that day, only to start asking questions. Who her creator was and why she followed him here. Sunny gave a smile as she tilted her head to one side. "Why I followed? Heh it seemed like fun that's why. And look I did have some fun and met a bunch of goofs!" Sunny said with a laugh as she looked at the other boi's but frowned when she looked over at Alpha. "As for my creator... I guess I don't mind telling ya.. You and the boi's could be useful allies if the need arises.. But.. I can't tell ya in front of muds for brains over there.. Just in case he wants revenge I don't want him going for my creator.." She said as she looked back at Casey.

"Glad ya find me 'n the boys entertaining' to ya." Casey scratched at the back of his head. "I don't know 'bout that whole ally thing, though... Ammo Clan ain't no force of good or nothin' like that." He folded his arms, glancing in the direction of the ring. "We're just here to fight each other... Compete to see who's best 'n all that. That's all."
There was a part of Casey who worried that he might've said too much, despite it being the honest truth. Perhaps it was because of how much the place meant to him? After all, he still didn't know who created this strange cat. Even if she'd helped that kid, for all Casey knew, her creator could've been some psycho who'd come running after him for some reason or another. People were crazy like that.
Sunny herself didn't give off that vibe, though; she seemed as laid back as one of his own friends. The only thing she was uncertain about was Alpha, which... yeah, okay, that was fair. He could probably trust her. Maybe. He just hoped it wasn't a ruse.
"...All right, c'mon," He turned around and started walking to his trailer. "Alpha can barely fight his way outta a paper bag, but if yer that worried, y'all can tell me in here," he explained, opening the door to his trailer and holding it open for Sunny.
"Oooh, lucky~!" Riki sang once he saw what was going on.
"Boss doesn't just let anyone into his room, you know~!" Ricky similarly sang.
Casey rolled his eyes. "Shut up!"

Sunny nodded as Casey said they where no hero group or anything, just a group of guys that like to fight each other. "That's fine, my creator is not really into hero stuff ether, fact she kinda wishes I would stop to dangerous she says.... But its so much fun going on adventures though." Sunny smiled. She then waited as Casey thought things over, if he said no that would be the end of it she would not try and push it but would ask if she could come by and hang out time to time.
"...All right, c'mon."
Sunny's ears perked up when it seemed he agreed to talk, Heh or that he was just really curious about who made her. She giggled when Casey said that Alpha could not fight his way out of a paper bag. " Is that soo.. Why is he called Alpha then? That name should be reserved for the strongest member of a pack. " Sunny snickered. Her ears perked up when the others said she was lucky, Casey never let anyone into his room. Sunny giggled but did not really comment as she walked into Casey's trailer.
