It had been two days since the fight at the mall, Jade was now staying the base and Taylor? Well he now had a bodyguard. Amara had volunteered to stay with Taylor as she kinda had nothing to do anyway and had lots of free time. As much as Taylor would just like to stay home and not leave for while or just hide out at the base his family would start getting suspicious so he needed to do things as normal. The two of them where wondering around the city staying in places with heavy foot traffic, then they happened by a movie theater and Amara stopped and tugged on Taylor's coat sleeve, " Taylor! Come on lets go see a movie!" She said as she then grabbed his hand and dragged him inside. "Gah!! Alright alright!" Taylor replied as he got dragged in. Amara then stopped in front of the posters as she looked at the movies they had playing. Taylor sighed a bit and took a quick look around the lobby of the theater. He has been on edge since the battle at the mall.. "Taylor~ Here get us some popcorn and I will buy the tickets ok?" Amara said with a smile as she handed some money. She then took off to go get some tickets, Taylor sighed as he then got in line for some popcorn, as he waited he kept looking around the lobby.

Things were getting awfully complicated lately.
Sure, in Sean's life, that wasn't usually out of the ordinary, but it rarely got this bad. To make matters even worse, this sort of stress wasn't what he was used to dealing with. He wished that he could just enjoy a nice movie, like he was pretending he was here for. Alas, that wasn't in the cards for him. He was on the lookout for someone, anyone who could steer him in the right direction of a missing person.
Fortune seemed to smile on the Irishman, for once, as he saw out of his periphery a familiar figure. A very, very, important figure, as it was. From the intel he had been able to gather, this youth, Taylor, was one of the last people to have seen Jade, who had disappeared without so much as a note a few days ago. Well, if anyone could give him information, it would be this kid.
Sean blended into the crowd with a grace that only came from years of training, and he moved closer to the young man. "Ah, there y' are, lad." he said, seeming for all intents and purposes to be Taylor's guardian. "Did ye pick out what yer wantin' yet?" he asked, placing a hand with a firm grip on the boy's shoulder, and locking his eyes on Taylor's. His gaze spoke volumes, though they seemed to only say one thing. "We need to talk."

Oh crap... Taylor tensed up at a familiar voice, Taylor jumped when Sean grabbed a hold of his shoulder. He looked up at the man his face turning pale, the last time he had seen Sean is when he had gotten kidnapped the first time by John.. Yeah Sean helped him get away but he still worked for that crazy mad man! " L-let go of me!" Taylor said as he tried to pull away from Sean. How?? Why?? They where in a crowded public place why did Sean show up like this?? In the back of his mind he knew it might be about Jade but all he could think abut was getting away from Sean.
Amara however had come back from getting movie tickets just to see someone harassing Taylor. "Oh no you don't!" She hissed as she then charged her body with electricity. " You will get your hands off him if you know what's good for ya!" As her body crackled with electricity as she glared daggers at Sean. No one was gonna harass Taylor on her watch!

Great. Just great. It seemed that Taylor's paranoia had overcome his common sense. Making such a fuss in a public place...well, he'd have to salvage this as best he could. "I'm terribly sorry," he said, addressing the cashier, "I refused to buy him a game he's been wantin', and it seems he hasn' gotten over it yet." he pulled off the lie with the acting skills that only came from years of experience getting out of sticky situations like this. He blushed a little, sighed just deep enough, and gave all the other little signs of a guardian exasperated, rather than some creep. "Now, you don't want tae make a ruckus now, do ye, lad?" he asked, kneeling down and gripping Taylor's other shoulder to get a firmer grasp on him. "After all, if yer friend shocks me, then the current will go straight through me, and into you, too. An' if that ain't enough ta convince ye, then I'm certain people watching will talk, and th' more people talk...well, I'm sure there's a certain someone that ye would rather not learn about this." he said, trying to drive home the implication as hard as he could.

Taylor was unable to free himself from Sean's strong grip.. The man went on to act as if he was his Father or something as he knelt down and grabbed his other shoulder making even harder to pull away. Also now he was stuck looking right at Sean though that was most likely the man's goal. Taylor looked right at Sean as he spoke and eyes grew wide when he said if Amara tried to shock him, he would also be shocked, dammit... Taylor then glanced over at Amara and gave a small head shake before looking back at Sean.
"Dammit.. Smart bastard.." Amara hissed as she then powered down but still kept glaring at Sean.
" An' if that ain't enough ta convince ye, then I'm certain people watching will talk, and th' more people talk...well, I'm sure there's a certain someone that ye would rather not learn about this."
When Sean said that Taylor's eyes grew even wider, he knew who Sean was talking about. So Sean was here on his own then? John had not sent him.. Taylor then forced himself to relax never breaking eye contact with Sean. "O-ok... Sorry.." Taylor replied, trying to now act the part of child who had just been scolded by his parent.
Amara stood there not really sure what to do at this point so she would just have to follow Taylor's lead on this one. And do her best to try and protect him.

Sean gave a small sigh as Taylor relented. Well, that was step one. Too bad success didn't make him feel any less tense here. He stood up again, and addressed the cashier once more. "Sorry about tha'. I suppose he's gettin' ta be th' age where this is becoming common." he shook his head slightly before he made a small order, mostly for appearances, though also as a slight sign of goodwill towards Taylor. He gave what items he ordered to the child, and motioned towards a quieter area of the theater, making it clear he wanted to talk somewhere where they were less likely to be listened in on. He spared a short glance to Amara, just to make sure he knew exactly where she was. He supposed she might listen in, seeing as she was playing the guard dog just moments before. Fine. He'd rather fewer people know about this situation, but he doubted either of these two would act in a way that put Jade in danger. At least, not intentionally.

Taylor was very uneasy about this.. He took the the snacks Sean handed to him and started to walk over to the area Sean wanted to go. Taylor glanced over at Amara who nodded, she followed a bit and then stood near by within ear shot. No way was she gonna just leave Taylor by himself with his guy. She then took out her cellphone and pretended to play on it as she listened in. " If you think I will leave Taylor alone with you... Think again dude..." Amara thought to herself.
Once in the quieter area Taylor stopped and looked at Sean with a very untrusting look. "Why are you here Sean..." He asked, he had a feeling this may be about Jade but he still felt the need to ask.

"You and I both know why I'm here, Taylor." Sean said curtly, almost all traces of his accent gone. He eyed Amara briefly, but he quickly deemed that she wasn't going to be much of a nuisance, so he felt comfortable letting her stand there, guarding her friend best she could. He turned back to Taylor. "You've made quite a lot of commotion recently, and from what I have gathered, you have pulled a certain young lady into your escapades. Her name is Jade, and she's...important to me. Shortly after your stunt at the mall, she disappeared. What I want to know here, Taylor, is simple. Where is she?" he asked. There was an obvious edge to his voice, though it was hard to tell if his anger came from concern for Jade, or concern for what Jade might have to say about him. The only thing easy to decipher was that Sean was desperate for answers.

Taylor stared at Sean as he spoke about the mall and Jade, he seemed really desperate... Yeah Jade said Sean may come to ask questions but Taylor had really hoped the man would have left him alone.. But here they where.. He looked down and off to the side, "That wasn't my fault.. I was gonna let those two thieves leave.. But Mil- that Lady had to try and stop them.." Taylor grumbled, though catching himself when he almost said Millie's name. Then he felt silent as if he was hesitating, "She's in a safe location..." Taylor said still looking down at the floor.
Amara mean while was now texting someone, she had texted Sarah telling her what was going on.. Just in case if things went south.
"Sarah one of them showed up... Guy named Sean and he is asking Taylor about Jade.. I tried to scare him off but he out smarted me.. Agh.." Amara texted
"I see... Just watch and observe for now.. If he tries anything don't hastate to stop him and I will come and help. Where are you? I can start my way there just in case.." Sarah texted back.
Amara then went on to tell Sarah what movie theater they where at, all the while glancing over at Taylor and Sean. She felt a little better knowing Sarah was on her way just in case if things went bad.

When Taylor answered him, Sean noticeably tensed up, as if suddenly angry. However, he seemed to calm down after a few deep breaths. "Taylor." he began through somewhat gritted teeth. "I need you to understand something here. Against yours and my wishes, you are embroiled in something far bigger than you will ever know, if you're lucky. Something bigger than any 'Mil' character. Big enough to make a couple mall thieves seem like mere rats. If I had it my way, you'd be peacefully oblivious to all of this, but we can't have what we want." he paused for a moment, looking back over to Amara. Still no effort to make a problem. Good.
He turned back to Taylor. "Now, Taylor. How you just worded that. 'She's in a safe location'. That can be taken many ways. When you were kidnapped, you were taken to 'a safe location'. I want to trust you, and I want to trust that you have done nothing untoward to to J-to her, but I need to hear it from your mouth, and I want you to look me in the eyes when you say it. Did you do anything to force her to stay with you?" he practically demanded, placing his hand again onto Taylor's shoulder with a fierce grip. As the conversation progressed, he seemed to get more on edge.

Well Sean did not like that answer one bit! Taylor flinched as Sean went off on a bit of a tangent about the situation he was in and the things he knew but rather not know about. Agh He should have worded his answer better now Sean was even more angry. Taylor started to tremble now, and flinched again when Sean grabbed his shoulder again tightly. The young teen then looked back up at Sean meeting his gaze. "No.. I didn't force her to do anything.. After using her powers in public like that she no longer felt safe in the house you set her up in.. She decided it was best to leave.. I offered her a place to stay till she is able to find a new home to stay in. She.. She chose not to tell you because she wanted to try and protect you.." Taylor said as he now was repeating what Jade had told him.
Amara noticed how tense Sean had gotten, and how he grabbed Taylor again. She made no move however and but did give Sean a hard glare.

Taylor's answer seemed to calm down Sean somewhat. for a brief moment, a felt a flash of shame. This kid was already scared enough about all sorts of things, some of which he had personally been responsible for. What right did he have to treat him like this? Still, he couldn't help it. The thought of Jade being hurt, being treated poorly, even by Taylor...He couldn't stand the thought. That didn't mean he had to do just that to Taylor, though. He sighed gently. "I trust ya. Honestly, I do. I..." he paused for a bit, feeling the weight of Jade's decision press down on him. If she decided to leave without so much as a message to him, that likely meant she didn't expect to see him again. At least, not for a long time. The thought of that hurt, and it hurt deeply. "I suppose...I suppose, if you can, please tell her that I'm sorry things had to go the way they did. She still has a lot to learn about people...make sure she doesn't trust anyone unsavory. Anyone...like me." he wiped away a few tears that were beginning to form at the corners of his eyes. "I'm trusting you, Taylor. If anything happens to her...I'm trusting you to set it right." it was his turn to look away, unable to meet the young man's gaze so easily.

Taylor stared at Sean as he seemed to calm down and look deeply saddened. He was glad though Sean had chosen to trust him but.. Now he wished there was a way to get Jade to talk to Sean herself.. It was very clear Sean cared for her.. As if she was like a daughter to him. What would happen next though was shocking..
It seemed someone had been listening into this conversation and decided she needed to make a appearance. Suddenly Jade teleported in behind Sean with a concerned, saddened look. Taylor froze and his eyes grew wide when he saw Jade suddenly appear, Amara made a muffled yelp as she put her hand over her mouth in shock. She then quickly texted Sarah telling her Jade had suddenly showed up.
Having a close bond with Sean allowed her to be able to hear his thoughts and feel his emotions easier then anyone else's in the city.. She could no longer stay away she had to see Sean again. " Sean.. I'm sorry." Jade said in a soft tone.

While Sean was surprised by Jade's sudden appearance, he didn't seem to show it much, not physically, and hardly internally. Perhaps his emotions were too fried to be shocked, or perhaps he had just grown to accept the strange things Jade could do. Nevertheless, he turned to the girl, and placed a gentle hand on her head, ruffling her hair slightly.
"Ain't nothin' to be sorry about, Jade." he began, solemnly, "You did the right thing. Even without this situation at the mall, your association with me would have brought nothing but trouble." he shook his head slowly, internally chastising himself for even letting it get to this point. The girl was important to him, yes. More important than most other things in his life. She had become something of a symbol to him. A symbol of a life that would be possible, but just out of his reach. A quiet life, with a daughter that he couldn't have the way he was now.
"You're a smart kid, Jade. You're a smart kid, and you're wise beyond your years. You've made the right decision today, and I'm sure you'll make the right choices going forward. Keep an eye out for Taylor, and the others for me, will ya?" he smiled slightly, though his voice was rough, as if it were about to crack, and a few tears began to fall. "Promise me you'll be good." he pulled his hand from her head, and looked to the ceiling, trying to regain what composure he could.

Taylor stood there very unsure what to do or even say now. So he just silently watched the reunion of Sean and Jade. He could not see his face from where he was standing but he could tell by Sean's voice he was getting very emotional. Taylor glanced over at Amara who was now tearing up as she watched as well. Any hate for the man she had now seemed to melt away.. She wished her parents cared for her as much as Sean seemed to care for Jade.. She then quickly texted Sarah telling her everything was fine now.
Tears started to form in Jade's eyes as well, " No... I am foolish... That day at the mall I made Millie feel like she was worthless when all I tried to do was help her and Taylor understand each other.. I hurt her without meaning to.. I.. I hurt you leaving without saying anything.. I still have lots to learn.." Jade as as her voice started to crack. She then stepped forward as she then wrapped her arms around Sean hugging him burying her face into his chest.
Even though she had gotten the text Sarah came anyway and entered the building, she looked around and saw everyone and the touching scene that was unfolding. But instead of stepping in she stayed back to make sure no one interrupted them.
