"Oh, I got it, Tony. Don't you worry! That's the one benefit of being so big and clumsy: You get real good at carrying luggage." Jacob said, his spirits seeming to raise a little at being able to be of use to his new acquaintance. He unplugged Tony's computer, and picked it up with great care, as if to mock his earlier claim about being clumsy. "You shouldn't let people be mean to you like that, though." he offered, "It isn't right. People deserve respect until they prove not to be worth it. That's what the doctor says, you know, and I think you're definitely worthy of respect. The doctor also says you should stand up for yourself when someone treats you poorly for no reason." his voice was quieter for that statement, as if he had hit a nerve, something deep inside him that he'd rather not dwell on. Still, he hefted the computer onto one shoulder. "Is there any other big things you need to be taken out?" he asked, seeming unphased by the weight he currently carried.

Zero nodded when Jacob said he could handle the computer, he then started to try and fold his clothes and put them away in his suitcase but it was a little difficult with just one hand. So it was going to be a slow process for sure. Zero then paused when Jacob started to give him advise the Doctor had given him when it comes to others being mean. He smiled a bit though when the man said he thought he was worthy of respect. They had just met and he already said that.. Or he was just trying to be nice. "Ah.. I see and um.. Thanks.." Zero said in a soft tone as if he was happy with what Jacob said but was unsure to really reply.



When he asked what other heavy things needed to be lifted Zero stopped and looked around his room. Looking at the table and one chair, then at his couch. He gave a unsure look as if he was not sure he could bring those.. "No.. I think the computer is all I need besides my clothes and photo's.." Zero replied. He went back to his closest and this time pulled out a photo album. He stared at it as if trying to remember happier time. He then walked back to the couch placing it on the couch and walked over to the shelves with the photo's that where in frames placing them also on the couch as he went back to folding clothes.

Jacob nodded slightly at Tony's insistence that he didn't need anything else taken down, and began to walk back to the car. "I hope you like your new place, Tony. I really do." he said. He looked around a little at the building as he made his way down. The apartment looked...well, like any other apartment building, but Jacob, imagining what it must have been like for poor Tony, felt like it was cold, for lack of a better word. Maybe he was tricking himself into feeling like this place was unwelcoming, or maybe it was just his memory of how the landlord treated a troubled youth with scorn rather than sympathy, but he personally couldn't wait to be done with this place.

When he reached the car, he carefully placed the computer in the trunk, trying his best to brace the monitor and other sensitive bits so as to not let them hit anything should the car run over a pothole or anything of the like. "Tony should be down soon." he said to the other two waiting outside the car. "The manager, man...What an awful person. He treated poor Tony like a stray dog, not a person...threatened to throw out his stuff, including his personal pictures and whatnot, just because he hadn't been around for a little while..." he continued quietly, looking to his 'family' for their thoughts.

Sai simply shook her head, offering a quiet "The nerve of some people."

Tyler, however, seemed more irritated by what Jacob had said. "What's wrong with that guy? he began, practically snarling. "Poor kid struggles, hits rock bottom, and all he can think about is how it affects him! Some people are rotten, Jacob. Pure and simple. Don't let it get you down." he gestured violently towards the building, as if to show it, and by extension, the manager, just how he felt about such things, then hopped back into the car to wait for Tony to return.

Zero just nodded as Jacob left his room but did not look at the man, once he knew Jacob was long gone he then relaxed a bit giving out a sigh. "Heh, so far so good.. great job everyone. Zero said no one in particular as he then finished putting his clothes in his suitcase as well as the framed photo's and the photo album. He then did his best to move the suitcase with one hand and started to leave the room. Only to be greeted by someone, "Hey Tony! Ah.. I see you are moving out.. Maan this sucks.. The land lord is such a butt hole.."" Kenji said still acting within character even it was just the two of them. He then looked at the suitcase and without having asked or asking Kenji took the suitcase from Zero. "How about I carry this for ya." He said with a grin.


Zero smirked and nodded, " Heh, Thanks." Zero replied and followed behind Kenji to the elevator. Once the two where in Kenji hit the first floor button and they started to go down.


" So how is everything goin? You doin all right?" Kenji asked.

" Smoothly so far, my new roommates seem nice enough, hard to get a read on John.. He has a great poker face." Zero said as he then mimicked John's facial expression. "He even has forbidden me from seeing Dimitri for the time being. I guess he did not like it that Tony grew attached to his rescuer." Zero said with a chuckle.

Kenji also chuckled a little and soon the door to the elevator and they both stepped out on the first floor. They then made their way to the exit once outside they started to head to the car. " Tony! Wait!" Some called out. Both Zero and Kenji turned to look and it was the lady from before with a homemade baked apple pie. " Tony, I made this last night but I want you to have it. Please enjoy it with your new friends." She said with a smile.

Zero gave a shocked look at first but it melted into appreciation. "T-thank you." He said with a small smile as he took the pie.

However the good feeling moment was soon taken away when the land lord came out looking angry.

" Hey! Tony I told you to stop by the office and drop off the key! Give it to me now!"The man growled.

Zero tensed up and looked down at the ground as he reached in his pocket for the key only to end up fumbling and dropping it on the ground as he trembled.

The woman glared at him, " Oh you leave him alone!" She said

Kenji also glared at the man as he the quickly picked up the keys then gave a mischievous look as he dangled the keys in front of him.

"Ooh want these do ya? Ok then go fetch!"" Kenji said as he then suddenly threw the keys as far as he could.

The lady started to laugh and Zero looked shock but soon started show signs of holding back a laugh.


" Wha! You!! Kenji you punk why I oughta! He growled as he glared at Kenji.


"Oughta do what? Touch me and I will getcha." Kenji said as he held up both hands and one started to cackle with lighting magic and the other a small fireball appeared. Kenji could not throw any attacks as his magic was not powerful enough for that. But for those who did not know that would find his empty threat a bit startling.

The land lord backed off a bit still glaring then he took off to get the keys.

With a wave of his hands the lighting magic and fire magic disappeared as Keji laughed. "Well that was fun, come on lets get your stuff in the car."
Kenji said. "Tony, one last hug?" The woman asked. Zero looked at her giving a weak smile and nodded, the woman then gave Zero a gentle hug. "Best of luck Tony.. If you ever need us you know where we are.." She said with tears in her eyes as she released the hug, giving a goodbye wave and made her way back into the building wiping her tears away. Then Zero and Kenji made their way to the car.



Once at the car Kenji then helped Zero put the suitcase in the trunk and came back around waving at the three in the car. "Hey guys nice to meet ya, take care of Tony alright? Also again Tony... Call your sister back so she will stop blowing up my phone." He said with a smile as he waved started to walk away.

Zero just gave a weak smile and nodded as got inside the car.

The three family members seemed to run the gambit of emotions at the events that unfolded before them. From joy at the kindly woman, to fury at the landlord, to amusement at Kenji's antics, to slight fear of Kenji's display of power. Sure, the individual reactions were different, but the general vibe they gave off was more or less consistent with each other.

"It's nice to meet you, too." Jacob offered from the back seat, "Thank you for standing up for Tony!" he gave a big grin to the fellow as Tony entered, and they began driving away.

"He's right, you know. You should call your sister. We got a phone at the place. We can take care of setting up your stuff in your new room, and you can talk to someone near and dear to you in the meantime." Tyler offered, his voice curt despite his fairly generous offer. He was riding in the passenger seat as Sai drove, but he didn't turn to look at Tony. Despite that, there didn't seem to be any malice in his voice. No anger, or even annoyance. It would appear that, unlike his two companions, he was just not comfortable talking with strangers.

Tony flinched a little when Tyler seemed to agree with Kenji about calling his sister, he lowered his head his long hair covering his eyes as he now stared at the pie that was in his lap. As if he really did not like the idea of talking to his sister right now. Tony did not reply as he sat there in silence, he then shifted his gaze to the window and looked out as things went past.



Mean while back in the building.


Kenji stood by the door as the car drove away, when it was out of sight he walked back in and the land lord and Clara where in the lobby. The man acting the land lord started to laugh. "Maaan that was great! They bought my act hook line and sinker!" He said with a grin.

Clara gave a small laugh, "My my that was nerve wracking! But still fun. Oh.. I just hope Tony will be fine. I grew to see him as a little brother from the time we spent together as neighbors" Clara said with a sigh as she looked back toward the door as she rested her chin on her hand.


Kenji gave a grin, "He'll be fine, from what I heard he was the best fit for this little sting. Anyway our roles are not finished yet. We still have to stay here for the time being just in case anyone comes here to ask about Tony. So till then I guess we just live our lives as normal and just rest our heads here." Kenji replied.


Clara nodded, " Right." She said looking at Kenji.

" Soo you guys wanna help me get the stuff out of Tony's room?" The acting land lord asked.

Both Kenji and Clara looked at each other then back at the man, "No" "Thank you" They replied

"What? Aww come on.." he pouted.

"Sorry but in the off chance they start watching this place it would look odd if we where to help ya move stuff. Gonna have to ask our other neighbors." Kenji said with a grin.

" Aghhh Ok fine fine.." He said giving up and walked away.

Clara just giggled as she then waved goodbye and made her way back to her room.


Kenji watched as they both walked away and looked back at the door. "Good luck Tony... And stay safe." He said as he then also made his way back to his room.

It wasn't long until the group reached what would become "Tony's" new home for the time being. It was a quaint house, if sizable. The buildings that flanked it certainly added to it's older, more simple look. "Here we are, Tony." Jacob said, grabbing Tony's shoulder and pointing to the place. "Welcome home, eh? I'll help you move your things to your room!" he offered as he hopped out of the car, and began to grab Tony's things from the trunk.

Sai unlocked the door, and as soon as they entered the place, there was the distinct smell of burnt incense, a sharp, but pleasant smell, and part of Sai's private collection. Jacob motioned for Tony to follow him as he went up the stairs, where the rooms were located. Tyler, meanwhile, left the others to themselves, and went downstairs to the basement, more likely to be alone than to do anything of note.

It was a silent drive to the new home Zero would be staying in but it did not take long to get there thank goodness. Jacob offered to help Zero move his things and he nodded, getting out still holding the pie he followed his housemates into the house. Zero looked around as he followed behind Jacob up the steps, it was a nice looking place, neat and orderly. The smell of incense was nice a bit sharp but not to bad. They then came to his new room, when they entered Zero took notice it was a decent sized room, not to big not to small, a large window a bed and a small walk in closet. It was a simple as simple could be. " I like the room, going to be nice to be able to sleep on a bed and not a couch." Zero said with small smile.

"I'm glad you like it, Tony!" Jacob chirped happily as Tony surveyed the room. "You should have seen it before we cleaned it! It was so full of old junk and dust, it took the three of us almost an entire day to get it into a nice, livable condition! Turns out, when you have a room pretty much only for storing old stuff, you're better off just getting rid of the stuff from the getgo!" he laughed slightly, as if he remembered supposed hard work fondly. "And to think, we were letting a perfectly good room go to waste!" with that, he placed the things he was holding onto the bed, "I hope you end up liking it here, Tony. We all do!" he offered with a wide grin.
